Meme couldn't help but sit down. "I think after my hoof stops hurting, I wouldn't mind walking with you to either a river or a small pond so i can cool it off." She started to smile more, she enjoyed hearing his laughter, it reminded her of her daddy's laugh. "So your human is a her-herberologist? " She couldn't pronounce it to well but she tried. "Are you sure, you're not a white knights stallion though?" Her curiosity never failed her. She was so full of questions, but told herself not to ask to many at one time, since it overwhelmed others quite quickly.

"Pretty sure anyhow" Oathkeeper chuckled, "I don't know much about my past. But at least I have a good sense of where I'm going." He smiled broadly again and nodded at her hard attempt to pronounce the word. "A herbologist, she studies plantlife and uses any plants she deems 'special' to help heal others" he explained to the best of his knowledge of what the kawani human actually did for a living. "She's very sweet and likes to help others too" he added, "But still...not a 'knight" he giggled. "Where is it you come from then?" he asked. He wanted to let her rest her hoof of coarse before carrying on. He wasn't about to hastle her to move or anything.

"I'm from the clearing, with the rest of the herd. Though I like the forest a bit better, I tend to blend in better." Her idea of resting wasn't long, she was still unsure how far away Ashley was, hopeing he was heading home by now. Getting back to her hoof she gave Oath a sweet smile. "Mind if I go to your healer then? Maybe she can help. After that maybe you can introduce me to your herd and I can introduce you to mine?"

"I would love to introduce you to my herd, but perhaps another day? I'm a little worried that that wolf might trail us. If he knows where my glen is, that's one more enemy against them I'll have to keep a constant eye out for. I've already got to vigilantly watch out for any return of the Skinwalker mare Paris" he began. It was one of the 1st few times he a had a gravely serious tone. "Please don't take it offencively, but after that row, I'm sure he'd love to get back at me in any way for foiling his plans" Oathkeeper continued, "However, I wouldn't mind meeting yours! I would be comfortable escorting you home as well as it would please me to meet your group!"

She hated the thought of going back through that forest, just to get back to the clearing where she lived, but gave him a nod in acceptance. "Sure, maybe I can see your family another day, I wouldn't want them to be in danger either. That or someday you can come visiting with a member or two of your family on your own time later." Her smile brightened, trying to brush the bad thoughts of the evil wolf in her mind as she started to lead Oathkeeper toward her home. "I can't wait to show you the new member of our family, I'm still curious if it came out of the basket still." Her tone started to become more cheerful. "Don't worry though. I really don't take things offensively unless it's like one of my sisters proving how stupid I am." She let out a soft laugh at that.

"Siblings will be siblings, Meme. Don't let that be a reflection on yourself. I've seen those who are 'stupid,' as you say. You, are nowhere near that" he chuckled as he kept her pace. He didn't want to hurry her. Her hoof might still hurt and all. "A new member?" he questioned as they continued, "Basket still huh? Did you find it or did someone have kids?" He was honestly interested and excited. His son and mate we're expecting soon. Baskets always brought him joy.

"Yep! My big brother Trevor found it. He said Ashley was trying to bury it in the mountains. It's a good thing Trevor scouts around a lot." She was so excited herself. She knew it was a tiny basket, but that didn't bother her, she really wanted to be a big sister figure. "Oh! Trevor isn't my real brother, he just watches over the herd. He's a single father that takes in lost and abandoned baskets. He's so sweet. I look up to him like he's my big brother." She tried to explain and correct herself. All she had so far were sisters. Even so she really hoped her parents would stop fighting so she could have a little brother someday. She giggled and shook her head embarrassed about going quiet for so long. "You'll get to see most of my herd I hope. Depending who's doing what today."

"A man like myself" Oathkeeper smiled, in reference to Meme's talk of Trevor. "I'm proud to hear another stallion has heart enough to take in others for a herd like family. It's very fun and most of the time fruitful." He continued the walk with Meme until the neared her home. "Is everyone usually busy, or homebodies, like most of my herd?" he questioned with a chuckle. Most of the ladies of his herd would stretch their wings once and awhile, but prefered the safety of the glen. All save for the new mare Ariadne. She favored wandering a little bit more than others.

"Homebodies?" She was a bit confused at that word. "No one in my family has wings, well no one but the Bat, Kurenai. I don't think he counts though." She giggled thinking about Kurenai as a horse. "I know a winged soquili though. He's very sweet and caring to me, his nae is Maral." She couldn't help but blush when mentioning his name, obviously she has a deep crush for him. "Oh! There's Trevor!" Nodding over to the light green stallion.
Trevor paced around their Teepee for awhile before sticking his head inside for a few moments and pulling it out with a grin. He kept his head lowered, his legs blocking what he was trying to deal with.

Oathkeeper was at first a little unsure if he should say anything, usually he waited on proper introductions. The stallion before him was making such peculiar movements, movements though, he mildly recognized. That stallion must be checking in on that basket Meme mentioned he figured to himself. "Hello there Trevor!" he finally blurted kindly. He turned his head quickly back towards Meme, unsure of whatelse to say or do. He wondered how Trevor would react to a strange stallion appearing aside Meme and blurting a silly 'hello.'

Meme nodded to Oath a sweet smile on her face. She didn't expect him to blurt out a hello, but she was glad he said Hello in general.
Trevor lifted his head and looked over at Oath a bit surprised, but still smiling. "Hello, how may I help you?" He knew is was common courtesy to greet a guest and smiled. "I'm a little bit excited at the moment. Our smallest basket opened and it's a baby girl." He was already acting like a proud father even though the basket wasn't really of his blood.
"This is Oathkeeper. He saved me from Ashley in our herd. You know the bad wolf that keeps chasing me and trying to hurt me?" Meme explained.
"Oh! We'll thank you so very much for saving Meme." Trevor turned around and bowed his head to Oath. "We've been so busy here with new arrivals lately that I haven't been able to keep track of where everyone is."

"I more than understand how that is. I'm just glad I was there to help" Oathkeeper chuckled, "I'm designated head of my own herd...and the good majority of them have wings. Hard to keep track of all of them too." Oathkeeper started over slowly towards Trevor. "A baby girl, I hear? May I see?" he smiled. He didn't want to come off as creepy or anything, but being a daddy himself---he just had such a soft spot for children. "You've seen her I take it?" he asked Meme, not wanting to ignore her in the conversation.

Meme shook her head. "No I haven't seen her yet. I will later though. I think i'll go rest my leg under the shade of a tree. Thank you so much again for rescuing me."Trevor smiled, making sure Meme was alright first before she went off to rest. Looking over at Oathkeeper he chucked some. "Children can be a handful. My son runs off everyday just so he can be with his true love." He nudged the tent to open it more, offering Oath in. "She's really tiny." He gleamed as he showed little Usida to him. "I'm going to name her Sumire, meaning purity and lovely."Sumire was laying by her basket, chewing on it's dream catcher before she noticed the to big stallions watching her, her back facing them still. She couldn't help but lean back more trying to get a better look, only to roll on her back give off a weird look and sneeze.

"My pleasure once again, Meme" Oath beamed at the unique and kind mare. Turning back to Trevor and Sumire, he could hardly contain himself. "Awe! What a lovely name for a lovely little lady! Oh so cute!" he smiled down at her. He leaned his head down slowly so she wasn't straining to see him any. "Hello Sumire" he addressed her slow and softly. He was totally thrilled to meet an Usdia baby, they looked like chibified regular soquili children. He gave her space and time to sniff him if she wanted, then looked up slowly back at Trevor. "I have a soft spot for kids. I've had some of my own with a former life mate who vanished. Granted, they're all grown now, so it's coo worthy to see small wobbly ones who've come into the world for the first time" he replied as he looked back at Sumire and made a really cute funny face at her to try to get a giggle or positive responce of some sort.

"Yes I've been down that road. I still have my son Rune who shows up here and there, though he is full grown now. He really wants little ones of his own with his mate.' He smiled watching little Sumire starting to take to Oath. "I love children. They're our future and can be quite a handful, but they mean everything to us."
Sumire's eyes widened as she saw the silly face of this with stallion, her little ears perking up more. Scrambling up to her hoofs she jolted towards his head, trying to grab onto one of his braids, they looked like so much fun to chew on. Letting out a small chitter it was almost as if she was giggling.
