 Asher was soon glad that he had stripped down to his shorts for this challenge. The cliff had been torture to hike all the way up, and he was already panting.
Because of this, upon learning they had to jump into the water, he was almost relieved. The water would be cool, and he wouldn't have to make any effort to get back down. In fact, all he really had to worry about was making it into the circle. Sure, the sharks weren't the nicest addition to the challenge, but he wasn't worried. He'd never actually met a shark before... maybe they weren't so bad.
At this thought, Asher jumped. Closing his eyes, he hoped as he hit the water that he had made it into the circle.

The squeal of the host's megaphone was still ringing fresh in Simon's ears as he fidgeted some yards away from the cliff's edge, obviously terrified of the challenge he had to face. He was clad in a simple pair of black swim trunks, which had what looked like runic symbols poorly stitched into them in bright blue - clearly, they had been enchanted to grant +2 to Swimming Speediness and Extended Breathholding, or something along those lines. Along with this his glasses had been safely left in his cabin, not wanting to risk losing them in the lake.
After seeing a few other Beavers leap or fall off the cliff, he felt that it was his turn. Now or never... and if the risk of being mauled by sharks was bad, the possibility of chickening out and letting down Annabel and the rest of his team was even worse.
So he squinted his eyes and clumsily ran off the edge, screaming like a girl until he hit the water with a comparatively quiet splash.

Rosa knew she stood out. Her black one-piece contrasted sharply with the white of her fur. She'd removed her headphones and hidden them carefully; the lack of her music made her feel more naked than the form-fitting swimsuit. But she didn't want her headphones to get wet, even if she had to. ♪ I am downright amazed~ at what I can destroy with just a hammer,♫ she hummed, and peeked over the edge.
... ********, that was a long way down. Oh well. Like ripping off a bandaid, right? Before you had the chance to freak out about it. She backed up a couple of steps and leaped off the cliff, hoping she could keep in a proper diving position. Bellyflopping from HERE would hurt like a b***h.

 Serena had gone to change and hiked all the way up the cliff side. Her hair was out from the bandanna, but now was weaved into a long braid of blue. What a hike! She was little out of breath from it, and felt fatigue. However the adrenaline from seeing the sharks certainly brought her back to life. She looked over at Chris and just shook her head. She muttered to herself, "Whoever thought of this one seriously had a messed up childhood." She then came up to the point where she had to jump. Bellyflop from this height was a bad idea. So she did her best to try and aim before leaping over the edge, trying to keep herself as straight as possible. Her eyes closed to avoid looking at the water approaching or the sharks waiting.

Carmen had just barely made it to the beach. She could swear it was a shark. She felt something hit up against her feet a few times. She couldn't get out of the water fast enough.
She was standing there ringing her hair out when she saw someone plummet into the ring. "I hope that person is on my team! I swear... if anyone from my team punks out... they are sleeping outside."

fn bjvjhvjhxchx "SHAARRKKSS" Alice cried- making a epic fail of a dive. She didnt think it'd be easy to make the dive but she didnt think it would be that hard either!
Swimming as fast as her paws would carry her- she fled the scene of the crime as fast as she could. She swore she felt a lot of eyes staring at her... but where they friend or foe?

 Helena made it up to the jumping zone finally. She smoothed the ruffles of her two-piece swimsuit. She was panting a little from the climb and looking down, she realized something.
She was afraid of heights. The world seemed to spin and she backed away, trying to psyche herself up.
Looking at Chris, she decided she might not get another chance and told him very quickly. "Mr. Host, I just wanted to apologize for throwing up in your presence on the first day! Itwasveryrudeanditwillneverhappenagain!" She said in one breath, and she closed her eyes and ran off the cliff, curling up in a ball as she fell. She didn't even have the courage to scream.
She also didn't notice the sharks.

Lucifer growled, flailing in the water, trying to paddle his way toward whatever dry land was closest, shore, dock, he didn't care.
"If any sharks try biting me I swear the next thing you eat will be a molotov cocktail!!"
Wait, he had reached the shore far faster than he should have swimming on his own. Eyes narrowed, he glared back at the shark that was right behind him, grrrrr....
Hmph! There might have been a hint of thanks in the gaze he shot that shark, not that he was going to let anyone else see it.

 Jay was up! The hike was long and she was honestly a bit tired... Not the best conditions for jumping off a 1000 foot cliff but, hey, she had to try! She was never afraid of heights, the thrill of falling (as long as she knew it was safe) was actually fun for her. So, getting a good momentum, she ran and jumped right off the cliff!

 When Kelly had heard about swimsuits, she'd been pretty jazzed. After all she could just imagine how much fun it would be to lounge around on the beach for a while and soak up the sun into her fur. Then reality came back to her and she remembered where she was...on some godforsaken island where she had to PROVE herself to a bunch of other teen Audios.
She came to the cliff in her sporty two piece and watched others jump or in some cases, fall off the cliff. She took deep breaths, trying to remain calm, especially when she heard about sharks. The diving wasn't going to be the problem, it was the landing she wasn't looking forward to. Muttering under her breath as her turn came up, she hoped her sponsor had a good lawyer to sue this entire production if she came out of this crippled.
Her tail fluffed up to twice its size in her agitation, she took her place and then ran towards the precipice and jumped off.

Helena swam frantically away from the sharks biting at her, she may hate water but she can still swim. Finally reaching the shore, she started ringing out her hair, imagining it was Chris's neck. She realized that even though she didn't make a very good jump, she at least hadn't done the worst in her team. But that wasn't exactly a good thought considering that meant no one in her team was doing good.

Promethius was somewhat put out, having failed to land in the ring. But, he had tried his best. Now, paddeling to shore, he found his firey team mate.

Lorna sighed, obviously missing the circle completely, oh well, no biggie, at least she jumped, she started slowly swimming back towards the shore, hoping, maybe, the sharks would eat her, at least then it would be enough to get her off this island and away from Chris.

After failing to sooth a shark to become her pet, Luna wandered over to the shore. She took a deep breath and sighed. She missed totally. But she did jump right? She hoped that counted for at least something.....

"PFFT, wicked fall there dude!"
The mocking voice of Chris called down after Zoë as she flailed her way to the waters below. Such an unplanned jump put her -nowhere- near the buoys, so she only had a moment to deal with nipping sharks before finding herself back on shore.
Noel's jump was SOOOO close to the safe-zone...but noooot quite. The mod slammed into the side of one of the buoys before sliding into the water below. Ouch, that had to hurt! Up on the cliff Chris busted out laughing.
"BULLSEYE dude!"
Asher landed smack in the middle of the safety ring of buoys. As Chris promised, no sharks were in the area. A rescue boat run by interns quickly scooped him to safety.
"Looks like you shoulda brought along those glasses of sight..or..whatever the heck they were for dude. MISS!"
Simon landed far from the buoys, and the sharks didn't seem to impressed by his enchanted swimtrunks.
Chris raised a brow as a headphone-less Audio ran by and jumped off the cliff. ...Huh. Unfortunately for Rosa she didn't get very close to the buoys.
Serena came close to repeating the same thing as Noel, but thankfully fell just a few inches short of actually slamming into the buoy. Close dude, but not quite into the safety zone!
"er......kay dude?"
Chris blinked at the apology, shaking it off as the camper went diving.
"Annd another bullseye!"
Helena landed right in the middle of the buoys and the sweet little Audio was quickly pulled out of the water.
Jay's momentum took her far, but nooooot far enough to reach the buoys. Nice try HA.
Kelly, meanwhile, barely made it into the water. Huh...not a far swim, but not much gained for your team either.
