anti smasher well they're not sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. They covered "Guility of Being White" and changed the last line to "Guilty of being right." How much more white power can you get?

No s**t. Seriously? The Ramones. C'mon. You can't call the music you listen to punk unless it includes the Ramones. As for the Misfits - they're not as -old- as The Ramones, but c'mon. Horror punk is the best.

I don't like the misfits and I'm not a huge fan of the ramones. I don't understand why there is such a hate against someone who doesn't like either. not enjoying these bands does not make you somehow less "punk" or some such foolishness. chill people.

I don't understand why there is such a hate against someone who doesn't like either. not enjoying these bands does not make you somehow less "punk" or some such foolishness. chill people. i guess your right i mean we shouldnt freak out like we did its just that for me the Misfits and Ramones defined the genra for me they are 2 of the bands that got me into alot of the stuff i listen to now and if i didnt listen to the bands i listen to now i would probably be a ******** prep but no i shouldnt have freaked out so dude i blew up at sorry i went a little nuts

the ramones are not that good. they are influential sure, but that does not make them a good band. They are catchy, but they are not that great.

I've just recently gotten into the Ramones again, but I'm a sap for pop.
Has Coheed and Cambria been mentioned yet? I've heard them called everything from emo to pop-punk and by golly it needs to stop. They've too many stupid fans and THEY SUCK SO BAD. Maybe that's harsh, as I've never really listened to their music or lyrics because I can't bring myself to listen to that dude's voice. It's not even cute like Geddy Lee's.

Capn Smasher I've just recently gotten into the Ramones again, but I'm a sap for pop. Has Coheed and Cambria been mentioned yet? I've heard them called everything from emo to pop-punk and by golly it needs to stop. THEY SUCK SO BAD. Maybe that's harsh, as I've never really listened to their music or lyrics because I can't bring myself to listen to that dude's voice. It's not even cute like Geddy Lee's.yeah, they are pretty terrible. I swore that they were a fem-fronted band for a while. I was positive my friends were trying to bull s**t me when they told me it was a dude.

I went to their website one day out of curiousity of whether the lead chick had been in any other bands previously, and I was puzzled for ten minutes or so as to why they had no pictures of the female vocalist up.
