Oh goddamn it.

It didn't quite work, only sort of. Esouna was quickly stopped by a leg grab, and she immediately tied this action to something that happened last fight: grabbed by leg, swung around real fast, slammed into ground for massive damage. No, no, no. This wasn't going to happen again. ******** that, the fairy had better things to do--like winning. DAMN IT.

The pull downwards would be countered with a sharp increase in wingspeed and relaxing her foot. Thanks to fighting and the heat from firelight, Esouna had a little sweat on her, and coupled with her dark pants, cue slipping. Already-present tears allowed the fabric to rip off, thus allowing the blacksmith's hand to slide roughly over the fairy's foot. No flying creature-- just a scrap of material.

Now getting pumped up by anger and frustration, Esouna lunged at the blacksmith's head, about when the ripping noise of her pants ended. Her arms stretched out as if to give a bear hug, but actually, grabby grabby. She planned to grab a patch of skin and/or hair with each arm, and...not much after that. Her body would block the blacksmith's sight if this succeeded, though, and it likely would--the series of events in this fight put her pretty much right up in Jurie's face anyway. There would be no moving back; the fairy would keep going forward to clutch the skin. No left or right, because arms were outstretched and there was no time to move.

Due to proximity, there wasn't a way to get a direct hit with a simple readjustment of the jab. The result would be something like a sideswipe. Still, Esouna would get a bunch of indirect force from the hit, though that only slowed her down.

At this point, the blacksmith simply wouldn't have time to move her head or do the arm sway before Esouna got a fistful of hair and cheek. Assuming this went off without a hitch, the fairy pulled down hard to move herself up--but it would do well to hurt Jurie, too. Now for some real damage: shaking with the pain from the sternum blow, Esouna would launch a series of strong kicks at the opponent's eyes.

Dirty fighting? Yes. Black eyes? Probably. Rage? Yep. The stream of attacks and counters entertained the audience for sure, worth the price of admission.

Oh no she wouldn't.

So fistful of hair sure, but really... grabbing a cheek wasn't all that stable to pull up on. That would slip in the moment Jurie recoiled from the hair grab, due to the pain of course. And even then with enough pulling her hair was going to rip. And naturally that's just what happened.

Jurie would let out a screech of pain as her hair tore free, her right arm yanking back as she shifted backwards. Were the fairy perceptive enough she'd notice the string tugging back something from behind them, but really with the sudden jerk she might or might not be able to react in time for what was coming.

INCOMING!!!

The object created from the start of the fight would come barreling towards the two from its sandy tomb, reawakened by Jurie's beckoning call. Were it to impact the fairy would feel a round, heavy ball snap across its back, feeling much akin to a metal small metal sphere of some kind. Even still, were she to dodge the ball would simply retreat within the blacksmith's grasp, her eyes seething deep lines of anger within the fairy's gaze.

A surge of power would pour into the object after this, the textures seeming to glow a bit more dimly afterwords, though it seemed deadly all the same. The crowd would cheer a bit at this, excited to see the blacksmith ready to get serious with the action.

Now is where the fight really began.

Since the hair grip suddenly didn't provide any achoring, Esouna would find herself going farther up than she expected. This would make the yo-yo attack suddenly go below her, between her legs--

And into Jurie's face. Everyone say it with me: Oops.

For the briefest instant, Esouna had to process the sudden appearance of a weapon, but she quickly darted forward and downward. Since the blacksmith would likely recoil and flinch from smacking herself in the head with her own weapon, this gave the fairy precious moments to attack again. She was done with targeting the face now; how about something else: the neck. The fairy would anchor her hands against Jurie's clavicles as her opening jaw zoomed in.

Whichever neck tissue her teeth would close on, Esouna would torque her head and body to tear skin and ligaments--even cartilage wouldn't be safe, due to the strength of the jaw muscles. There'd be damage for sure, unless Jurie could do something, and lots of important things were in the neck...
