"Tch."

It missed. Not the best outcome he had hoped for, and a dire waste on one charge in trying to land a surprise attack at Bishop's uncoordinated position. Having no charges left for emergency use, the swordsman had two possible routes he could take right now in this given moment;

One. Start up a charge and gain some distance to take the fight to long range.
Two. Quickly return to the offensive while the foe is still reeling from the attack.
None of them were great in regards to giving the swordsman an edge in this fight. While the wound he gave was enough to hamper and cause trouble for the foe...
The swordsman needed to force the opponent down onto the ground - or inflict a major injury onto the foe's body. But with the foe sprouting lightning like an electric eel when he stabbed into the opponent's leg, only one thing is needed for the swordsman to do as the foe was in the middle of speaking.

Anchoring his weight down to stabilize his stance on the soft sand, the swordsman quickly slackened his left hand, releasing his hold behind the axe of the staff. With his right hand held in the middle portion of the staff initially, his hand went accordingly with the swinging motion, the axe sailing from his left side outward for just a short while before being brought down in a fast slashing motion from the inertia.

Being aimed in a general smash for Bishop's right knee/ankle section. A whopping two feet of sharp steel would be careening towards the foe's leg section once again, the swordsman aiming low to bypass the shield and - hopefully - the mace as well, attacking a place where it would be hard to block. After whittling down the opponent's ability to move quickly to increase his chance in landing this blow, the pants/boots that the foe wore most likely would provide some decent degree of resistance against the sharp edge of the Halberd.
Though - then comes the problem of the weight behind the swing. For if the slash doesn't cut through the respective limb, then certainly the blunt force behind the swing should trip, if not also deal a concerning injury to the foe's leg as a result.

Also mindful that the opponent's body is still dangerously packed with electricity, the swordsman would, in the meantime, have more rough ice form on top of his palms and the contact with his Halberd, increasing the resistance against electric shock. Being coated with his initial orb already, while the swordsman should not be too worried about receiving an electrocution...

Well. Better safe than sorry.

Bishop was ready to continue. His bodies healing trait was no where equip to handle healing his legs in a short amount of time nor any other injury. Things that took days, weeks or months healed up in a course of hours, but this match would preoccupy the body from focus, and it surely wouldn't even last an hour. Gritting his teeth, Bishop would endure the pain that stemmed from his inner thighs on both sides as he would stand firm, his muscles a bit tense. 'Damn it, celebrating with bitches tonight might not happen.....Ima' have to bust the betch up as a way of accepting an apology.'

Two. Two full charges, and it wasn't quite clear that they existed nor if he was charging yet again. But, The opponent was right back on the offensive, and this is a moment where Bishop would try to 'flip da script' on him. That cpu chip channeling faster thoughts would be running at full capacity as Bishop wouldn't hinder his own mental process in confusion on how to handle an opponent with a weapon he hadn't faced before.

The swordsman came in and would perform his slash as planned, all the while Bishop would be shift his weight to his left arm and twisting his body, anchoring down that shield at just about the last second, and then.....

CLANK!

T
he blade would smack into Bishop's shield and he would be safe in a sense, the threat blocked as of now. Though this could be troublesome, how the hell was Bishop to retaliate at an awkward position. Well, he had already planned this all out in his head before the shield halberd connection. Just after stopping the blade, as the sound still rang out to the beach, Bishop would perform as 360, which would automatically cause a scraping sound as the shield drug on the metal, yet by the time the shield had left the blade, The swordsman would have and extended arm holding a three foot handle at hand, sending a spiked ball straight for his left arm, just above the elbow. This wasn't Bishop's aim seeing as to how his sloppy thuggish maneuvers wouldn't grant him proper sight and judgmental ability to target a specific spot on a big target...Not like it mattered, he simply wished to make a connection and begin to try and dominate seeing as to how he needed to make up for eye candy.

A bit of sand flew at the audience or at least making it close to the fire as they watched the battle intensify, the few fans out there watching Bishop becoming more cheery by the moments that passed. And these few fans completely showed what was in Bishop's head, or how he felt. He went from confused and unsure to confident, or even cocky, and arrogant. Should his attack land or miss, it mattered not in the long run per say, But Bishop would surely adjust and follow up accordingly. Acheron had finally woke the ******** up, and those looking at his back torso would see that tattoo across his shoulder blades. 'This is like the first time I ever fought Elliot in that hotel....Unpredictable, and deadly accuracy. But I still came out on top....this shouldn't be too bad.'

The force withered away from the Halberd, it's cleaving momentum being degraded by the shield that blocked its path. Dropping to the ground like dead weight after the block, the Halberd was now in a slant on the sand, the right hand holding the weapon near the middle and keeping the lower section aloft from the ground.

This should have given a fair warning to the foe. More expecting the foe to shove in with the shield and pin down the Halberd to disarm the swordsman, rolling around the staff to attack his right side was a potential opportunity which the swordsman would take advantage of. To respond to the incoming threat, with a swift motion, he moved his right arm far away from himself, the lower section of the staff being used to strike at the chain just beneath the mace head that came careening for his right elbow. Pulling a bit backwards immediately once the chain beneath the mace got intercepted by the staff, the swordsman would use the spikes on the mace to get it tangled with the lower section of his staff - which, as Bishop would remember, is coated with icy spikes.

Tangling the mace and chains so that Bishop's primary offensive weapon would be temporarily useless at that instant.
And even though the swordsman can't use the Halberd effectively at this point...

There's still his katanas which dangled on both sides of his hips. Not to mention his left hand, which is already free to move around, unlike Bishop's preoccupied hands.

SHING!

It wouldn't be hard to figure out that the swordsman's left hand just unsheathed a weapon from one side of his hips. And without a second to spare --

BAM!

The swordsman delivered a thrust with the pommel of his katana as he twisted his footwork to face Bishop's body, the weapon unsheathed from his left side, going for Bishop's exposed back. Just above the waist, and aimed right at the foe's backbone in general. The katana was held in a reverse dagger hold, the wrapped handle of the blade being held by his left hand as the pommel went for its mark.

With most of Bishop's back almost facing the swordsman during the full rotation, when the pommel strikes the back the foe should be in for another chilling surprise.
A sharp frozen spike, frozen right on the pommel to add a piercing ability, allowing what would be a nasty blunt blow to the backbone...
To become a more serious wound, especially with the backbone being the main nerve control system.

Paralysis is what the swordsman might be going for. But if that isn't his objective, then most likely...
It's to deliver a maiming injury to paralyze Bishop's back with heavy consequences.

Even if his thrust missed, slashing into Bishop's back with the sharp spike in the process would also be all right for the swordsman.

The chain continued to fight to retract as it wrapped around the halberd and became stuck around those ice spikes which was bad for both fighters. Though for a moment it would seem to give Bishop opportunity to deal some damage, assuming any bit of his current plan would work.

Bishop's left arm would work to adjust his shield to be lifted up in order to be used in any form of fashion. He had a total of three charges by now as his body would continue to twist to his right seeing as to how the chain wrapped and became tangled before he completed the three sixty which is when the spiked pommel would end up slicing his right side open. This was a deep cut, though it wasn't deep enough to catch his kidney nor deal a fatal blow unless Bishop went a long while without medical attention. Bishop would grit his teeth as the ice torn his skin more so as to cut it.

Just after, as the turn was completing, Bishop would use his left hand to perform a hook, which would send the razor edge of the shield to cut into what ever part of the body it smashed into. The landing point of the shield's edge was indeterminable due to the fact that Bishop's momentum would be carrying the halberd staff to the opponent's own left, seeing as to how Bishop's strength matches the tournaments cap and he was in motion. So anywhere on the right side of the opponent was available at this moment in time. Though that isn't all, no not at all.

ZAP!

B
ishop would pump our two of his three charges, his body covered in the electricity as it snarled at the opponent, hoping for the shield to connect in order to properly deliver a sufficient shock to lag the opponent, this electricity would also work to cauterize the new wound received as an innate behavior, stopping or slowing the bleeding would be better than leaving it be. Also, the reason for both charges at once is because one charge of .02 amps wasn't enough for the ice, though two should do the trick in helping to dent the ice and its not so conductive nature. Succession or failure, the smell of burning blood spread through the air as Bishop formed two plans in his head, and hopefully he wouldn't be placed in a position to where he had to make a choice at the drop of a dime.

With yet another failed attempt at paralyzing the foe, the swordsman could fathom the outcome of the foe's rotation - the surface of the shield reflecting under the fires that surrounded the arena. While the pommel strike struck close to the target, delivering a nasty gash onto the foe's body was not what he had intended for; simply because the wound would be shallow and not sufficient enough to render the foe immobile, or maim him in the process.

Narrowing his eyes, his expression revealed a more sinister intent when the idea of clawing into the wound sounded good - adding more to the injury and perhaps inciting a scream if he clawed hard in the process. Conjuring spiked ice onto his hands or fingers would make the action more easier, tearing up the flesh while he was at it, however...

His mind unexpectedly had a flashback, remembering his fight with Tenkai. That fight was still fresh in his mind, even now, and recalling how Tenkai moved when he fought him...
The twirl of countering.
The motion of attacking.
The drawing of the sword from the scabbard.

Hit and run!
Keep it basic!

"!!!"

The swordsman suddenly retreated, pulling his left hand back to sheathe his blade back into his left scabbard - the pommel coated with the foe's blood as he took a giant leap back from his advantage. Letting his right hand slide back to the end point of his staff, spikes of ice quickly vanished from the weapon as it came back to his right hand, being collected in the meantime when the staff was wrenched out of his right grasp, being hauled to his respective left from the foe's momentum.
And, already losing his grip and in the middle of leaping back, the shield that came crashing in delivered a glancing blow to the moving swordsman - striking him hard at his right forearm, cutting right into the cloth and into...

Resistance?

KRRRZZTT!

A glint of light reflected off of the object underneath the swordsman's sleeves, its glossy features giving the foe a good incentive on what the swordsman has equipped.

Armor.
To be more precise, a bracer. Designed and made as a gear to fend off sword blows and strikes, the bracer did its job in fending off against the razor-sharp shield that came for his arm, though the composition of it however did gave Bishop's electric jolt a few...

ZAP!

A sudden loss of feeling washed over his right arm. While the ice he had gathered back from the staff did help in reducing the full-blown jolt of the extra charge, it didn't stop his right arm from suddenly twitching, a few arcs of electricity crackling around the affected area.

"Ugh!"

Landing well on both feet, a few meters away from Bishop, the swordsman stumbled a bit backwards, a searing sensation of extreme discomfort spreading up like wildfire over his right side. Suffice to say, the extra boost in electricity did seem to affect the swordsman more seriously than he had expected.

"...."

His left hand immediately went to fully unsheathe his other blade, this time, from the right side of his hips. Fully aware that the foe would probably rush him - despite all the injuries the swordsman has inflicted onto the foe's inner legs and the nasty gash on the foe's right side - the swordsman didn't prefer taking chances against something that is an unknown factor;

The previous match being a perfect example of his own assumptions.
But what can he do with just a katana held on his left hand, and his right arm nearly paralyzed from the electric jolt? Even moving the fingers or clenching proved to be discomforting, since he can't determine a touch on his senses - numbed by the foe's damn electrical current.

But if there's one thing he needs...

Cold air once swept around the swordsman like an invisible veil, ice starting to form around him as he began to prep a charge for emergency. Granted, the amount he had gathered from the staff was sufficient for one orb...but. He'll have to reconfigure the command on it before he can use it quickly in the next few moments of this fight.

Quickly now....quickly!

Bishop didn't foolishly run at his opponent, but once he was landing Bishop would rush in, that sword being drawn just before Bishop got into range, his shield arm leading again as his mace head was surely fully retracted by now. Two charges were held as he came for the swordsman...

THWAP!

W
ould be the noise heard should his attack be completed. A lack lyuster'ish shield check that resembled a hockey check. Bishop continued to move forward putting more of his body behind the check, seeing as to how pretty much the whole right side of the opponents body was screwed. However, in pushing his muscles so hard with though wounds, they would appear to be bleeding again, though not as heavily as when they were fresh.

As he attacked his tongue rolled blood around in his mouth mixing saliva with it to make it thicker. He didn't grin nor speak at all, no noise, just his determined eyes burned holes into the swordsman as he attacked. The crowd seemed to bunch up a bit more in wonder as both fighters now has efficient enough damage to be done in one more hit, of course with the thought that it was a powerful enough blow. Should Bishop get his shield check in, he had a follow up prepared in two different way to get it done to end this match, if he failed, he would try to hang in there and adjust to the situation like he had done the whole match. <******** this guy! I swear if he makes a huge comeback...'

The swordsman could foreshadow Bishop's tactics pretty well, the fight starting to reach the climax. If the body acts like an electrical eel, and the weapons are extensions of the current to pass through...
Then close range combat is certainly what Bishop would stick with.

Not surprising, with the foe already rushing at the swordsman to take the split advantage there. The affected arm continued to tingle and twitch in uncomfortable spasms, but the nullified touch might actually work for the swordsman.
Though it meant taking more damage than he would have liked to.

Ah well. Exchanging shots wasn't his best forte after all.
He'll improvise instead.

The eyes quickly focused on the body coming in for a bash. Returning the gaze back at Bishop, it seemed as if the swordsman acknowledged the determination the foe gave, a small smile barely seen under the guise of the night. The fire raged on around the two fighters as the foe got into range, the swordsman tilting his head slightly to the right while he anchored his left foot firmly...

Keep it basic!

Before he roughly timed his action, pushing off with his left leg and taking a large quick step to his right, moving himself out of the shield check in a simple, yet effective side dash to his own respective right. Shuffling his footwork against the uneven sand to keep himself in balance and in motion away from the shield's range, the swordsman retaliated with his left blade by slashing low at Bishop's left knee area in a simultaneous motion, his left hand gripping the blade firmly as the sharp edge went for the unarmored spot.

Intentionally using the full rush and Bishop being focused on the body check, the swordsman aimed low while he dodged once more to this time...
Effectively chop Bishop's left leg completely off, if not cut into the vital muscles around the area.

And with the blade's range, the swordsman can use the most sharpest edge of the katana to cut deep into the area - hopefully through the entire leg - just as Bishop passed by, before he would shuffle a bit more to the side, turning his body around to face the foe with his footwork, the left blade pointed at the foe - similar to how he used the end point of his Halberd to prevent a rush. This time, should Bishop try to shock him upon his weapon coming into contact with his body, the foe would find it unfortunate that the katana isn't completely made out of reinforced steel.

After all;
The handle which the swordsman holds the blade is completely made of wood, a highly resistant material against conduction.
