Living on your own for hundreds of years does tend to do such a thing to a person, as does living in a world where the colors you see are black, white, and grays. She bit her lip thoughtfully and took a breath, letting it out slowly as she came to a decision. Thrusting out her hoof she gave a shy smile "Can we start over then? This first meeting wasn't.. ideal. I'm Medley.. nice to meet you!"

Andrei was confused. Had she really just decided to give him a second start so quickly? "Medley, what a beautiful name," He brought her hoof to his lips and placed a light kiss there. "My name is Andrei, and I can assure you it is quite a pleasure to meet you."

"I have never had a need for a permanent residence until now. When it is time to go to ground I find a suitable cave and secure it from my enemies. I will be working to acquire one now though, I assure you. What about you? Do you take up residence in this area?"

She nodded "I have a little hut not too far away. Its pretty secluded but its a nice quiet area. Very little passes by."

She blinked in surprise "Its nice and cozy.. and well its just me so its not like I need that much. Er.. righted HOW exactly?" Not opposed to moving just curious to how he wanted to fix it

Andrei stopped, "You barely know me, yet you would share your home with me?" Something in his heart warmed and he moved to kiss her forehead, stopping short before actually doing so. "You are truly a treasure. And I appreciate your offer...but I feel that you would soon ask me to leave. You have no idea what it is you've invited to live with you."

She shifted uncomfortably "Well.. you said we're mates right? So we need to get used to each other... that means spending time together." She gave him a wry look "And I get the feeling your not the type to just drop me off at home and leave me there.. so you might as well come in."
