"I'll make sure I do," he murmured gently as that sleepy tone crept into her voice. His body shifted until he could pull her against him, letting her weight lean on his body instead. "Right now you should rest though," he put his head atop hers, resting it over her small tuft of hair. Despite the temptation to close his eyes and fall into a slumber with her, he remained awake, guarding her like he knew he wouldn't be able to shortly.
