Pixie Saylor choic emphasis on the "tool" this guild doesn't seem large or active enough to need its own little voting system, imo. plain old open discussion seems like the best place to start. if there are any big issues, how they're handled can be decided from there. the world is not going to end if every step of the process is not run with strict gov't-esque regulations. it seems pretty silly in my humble opinion this ;-; petitions are cool but the more formal things are the more we get sticks up our butt. we don't need things this formal and my philosophy is ALWAYS where you can be informal, be it. everyone is more relaxed and things are more fun when things are more lax. we can be reasonable. there is no reason things have to be UBER OFFICIAL. an informal petition system would be rad but you guys can just ASK KROO TO DO STUFF if you have suggestions. you're so sexy when you're agreeing with me heart but yeah, seriously guys. all regulations do is act as walls. i'm not seeing any actual communication here, & by extension, i'm not seeing much actual fun. so ******** the system & let's have a tea party. for realsies.

D< or like people suggested a billion things at a time, then official things are coolio. but obviously we don't LIKE the petition system because we hack it to bits and attack it with buttsticks and stuff. so, we can be not official and you guys can suggest things and we can listen, because we like listening and stuff. I think that petitions should be for informing the crew that there is something that a good number of people want to change. Then the crew can decide whether to put it to a guild-vote or not.
I think that petitions should be sign only, and any discussion should be in another thread, because it makes it easier to see how many people support the idea.
In general, though, I think that petitions are not a big deal, and except for those few rules that were implied in my thoughts, there is no need to be super formal.

Undefined. (lol cause the petition can't take effect if it passes because it defeats itself.)
But yeah, I say if we get rid of the voting, and official thing of petitions and change it back to a suggestion box where people can voice their opinions, I think the sticks in asses might disappear or return to normal.

I agree that the petitions should be sign only tbh. I think we should have them, but, as has already been said, they should only be for extremely important things like the entire reformation of an aspect of the guild or something like that. We need to be able to voice our opinions though, so maybe if there was a twinned thread of discussion and petition with links to the other from each of them? However, I majorly agree with Pixie, its not cool to be official all the time, so the petitions should be informal, but formal...if that makes sense, to me it does anyway sweatdrop .
