Well, this was new. She'd expected Nealite to pounce on that information, and walk off cackling like a hen to report it to Charonite the first chance she got. To stand there and continue to talk with her like a civil human being was absolutely unthinkable. Warily, Linarite continued the conversation.
"The biggest of which being how to save ourselves when something is absolutely botched?" It was a rhetorical question. Saving Yourself was the first and most important thing any Negaverse individual learned. Otherwise, you were dusted, and who wanted to be dusted?
"What do you think we should do about that then?" Audrey had a few suggestions, but it would be interesting to see if Nealite actually had a point.

"I think..." Ursula began, her mind racing with ideas, with thoughts, with potential resolutions to their mutual issues, "That once I'm off probation, you and I are going to have quite a few problems in common, Lin-Audrey darling."
The name was foreign to her, being so accustomed to using the shortened pet name for her arch rival, but desperate times called for desperate measures, and Ursula was willing to do what it took to secure her respect once more with the General-King, and then some. If Linarite's goals deviated from her own, perhaps both lieutenants could be helpful to each other, while at the same time squashing those that did threaten their personal goals.
"I also think we should take this conversation elsewhere, to a more private spot." she concluded, lifting her laptop up and resting it on her side as her other arm grasped ahold of the shorter woman, pulling her with her. "I know a coffee shop down the block, which will do just fine for it. You're buying your own drink, by the way."
And with that, she was off, her brain scheming with plans and ideas all the way to the coffee shop, schoolgirl in tow.

Oh well THAT was typical. It was somewhat comforting though, to know that Nealite was still as catty as ever. Some things just shouldn't ever change, and that was absolutely one of them.
"What, the boys not tipping as well for topless photos these days?" The quip was the last that anyone in the area would have heard as the secretary dragged the schoolgirl away much like a disapproving older sister might.
Things sure would be interesting from now on.
