Azrael lent the naga his injured wing, feeling defeated. Twice. He watched quietly as the naga before him crushe the herbs that would be placed on his wound. As soon as the medicine had touched him, he flinched back his wing slightly, giving a slight hiss of pain. He bit his lip a little harder, trying to keep quiet and still.

He perked up and looked at the half snake, hearing his question. He glared daggers but not at the naga. "Hunters..." he hissed. "They exterminate creatures like you and me... They believe we're evil and vile when they are the ones evil enough to drive us out of our homes and claim our lands..." he hissed his words and spat out poison. He hated these humans so much.

Azrael flinched again at the herbs and held in another cry of pain. "A-ah... D-do you... need anything to hold it...?" He asked quietly, seeing as the creature had no bandages with him.

Kal'del'ial gave a pause at what the harpy said. So humans were the cause. He had no fondness towards those creatures. No hatred either, but definitely nothing to like about them. "Yes, you must have been very unlucky to come across them." He imagined the humans had been in the high mountains. Or had this harpy wandered away for some reason. He could only imagine that to be the case. But why would he do that,

"Oh, yes actually." he really did need something here. "Do you have something." He imagined he might, or was he just wondering. If not, he would have to try and figure something out. But he couldn't get supplies out of nowhere.

Azrael noticed the naga's calmness; he seemed to always have all his thoughts collected. Azrael admired this to an extent but lookde down. "I... Yes.. I have something..." He whispered. He touched the mask on his face before pullling it off. The leather was sturdy and could hold well. He looked away, holding up the strip of studded leather to the naga.

His face was quite smooth, showing he was no older than perhaps an early adult. Much different than any usual pig-faced, acid drooling creatures always potrayed in myths. He was slightly embarassed by this actually, not being the tougher-looking demonic creature humans were really frightened of.

Perhaps the naga new these myths were false, or never even heard of the myths. Whichever way, Azrael still did not feel at his fullest showing his more smooth features rather thn being gruff and ugly as myths tend to show. An odd form of vanity supposedly.

Kal'del'ial was relieved. There was something. He just never expected it to be that thing the Harpy had on his face. He didn't hesitate to accept it. His gaze just lingered on the other males features for a bit. It really was a sight to behold. He had actually assumed Harpies weren't the...most pretty or pleasant looking creatures about. Would it be bad, to compliment him.

"Thank you, with this I can properly bandage your wing." That said, he turned back to the wing, and properly set the studded leather on it. It took a few minutes or so, but he did manage to get it on.

"There, how that." He slithered back from the Harpy now. "Is your throat parched?" He paused, looking over the Harpy. "I was going to get some water earlier, but that required a second trip. And I didn't like the thought of leaving your wound unattended." He was glad he had come back now.

"Your face, it looks...really nice." He actually preferred this, over the other having some beak on his face or other hideous attributes. Perhaps, because of what he was himself. He was much use to looking at faces that resembled humans. Even though his lower half wasn't.

Azrael kept his gaze low, shifting his wing slightly. It still hurt but it was much better. "Uh... Thanks... And... yes actually, I wouldn't mind a drink..." He said quietly. Despite how odd it seemed to him, he tried to be curtious back to the naga, seeing as how he not only bandaged his wing but now offering him water. He inwardly sighed but stiffened slightly at the last compliment. He didn't know what to say.

He shifted to sit up better before he finally decided to thank the naga, even if he didn't quite like his own attributes. "Th-thanks..." He repeated quietly. His red dark red eyes held darker red, almost black, to outline where his iris would be, but in time it would fade to only be an emotionless looking red eye. Averting his gaze again, he looked to the side.

Kal'del'ial gave a slight nod. So he would be getting a drink for him. "Give me a moment, and I'll be right back." That said with a smile, the Naga moved to slither out of the cave. Only to pause when he heard a thanks. "I was merely being honest." He didn't think he needed to thank him for that. "Now just stay put." he said that. moving off without another word, and not waiting for a response either.

It took a few minutes to go to a the river, collecting one of those large leaves along the way, then taking water in it. Then he had to make his way back to the cave. Being careful with the water he had. He wondered if he really took just a few minutes. It had probably been more then that. But he wasn't thinking to comment. He was just relieved when he got back to the cave.

"Here," Kal slithered over to the Harpy, holding out the leave with water. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." He really did hope not. He didn't figure the Harpy, care to be made to wait. Not that he felt obliged to cater to his every whim. It was just, he was concerned. For the moment.

Azrael watched as the naga left and sighed, crossing his arms. "Harpie.. shouldn't look nice... right?" He asked himself, still unsure. He stretched out his arms, the feather on his forearms spreading out as he did. He stood up carefully, wobbling with the sudden unbalancing in his wings. He leaned on the wall, stretching out his legs for a while.

He could just leave now and try to go back to the mountains... But that naga was being fairly considerate, he would feel guilt in his conscious if he just left him without word, and before he even got back.

Azrael closed his eyes, leaning on the wall of the cave. He looked to the naga and held back a smile. "No, not at all..." He said, taking the leaf carefully for a drink. "Thank you..." He whispered, trying to relax more.

Kal'del'ial had considered the thought of the harpy leaving. So, he wasn't quite sure if he was relieved to see he was still there when he returned. He supposed he would have been a little worried, but beyond that, there was little he could do to stop the harpy. That is to say, if he wanted to leave. He wasn't going to stop him. It wasn't like they were close. Or lovers. Where he had concern over his well being.

"How are you feeling now?" He asked this question, staying where he was. A little ways from the harpy. He wondered if there was anything else he could do for him. While he was up, and about.

"Anything I can do for you?" He was kind enough to ask. It wasn't like he had anything personally against the harpy.

Azrael glanced up to the naga and shook hiw head. "No... Thank you for this..." He said quietly. He leaned his head to the side to stretched his neck as well before sitting back down slowly. "I am Azrael... What is your name?" He asked, looking up to the naga. He hadn't realized they had been strangers all this time.
Azrael tried to fold in his wings but winced at the pain. He only folded his right, letting the other droop and rest. He kept quiet as he awaited the naga's reply.

Kal'del'ial offered another smile. Giving a slight nod towards what was said. He wasn't expecting to be told the others name. Though, he had wondered if they would ever get properly acquainted. "Azrael, that's a lovely name." He actually did think it was a nice name.

"Kal'del'ial, that's my name." He spoke, seeing no problem with speaking his name. "But you can call me Kal for short." If he didn't care to say his whole name. He didn't see it as a problem. He however, didn't know what Azrael would think of it.

Now what? He was considering the question, wondering if he should try to make conversation. "Would you like me to leave you alone?" He would just slither into the back of the cave. It wasn't too deep, but it wouldn't be like he would be in his face. So to speak. With how close he was now. Just a little ways from them.

Azrael held his tongue as he was complimented on his name. "Kal'del'ial... Exotic..." He said, enjoying how the naga's name sounded. He repated it in his head, almost singing it.

He looked up as he heard what the naga had asked him. "You... You dont.. have to..." He said slowly. He almost wanted to pout, being asked that. He really didn't want to be left alone, he never really enjoyed it. He was always used to the flock of others within his den that he shared. He didn't want to just say 'no', however, thinking perhaps the naga instead wanted to be left alone. He kept quiet, looking away to the ground.

Kal'del'ial was slightly flattered to hear, what sort of sounded like a compliment. Or was it just a fact. He wasn't sure. He considered asking. But didn't bother. He just noted what was said next.

"Do you not mind the company?" If he stayed, he knew he would talk. He was just trying to avoid starting something. In case the harpy felt he was a threat. And thought to attack him at any point. Even though he had been nothing but kind to him. Hadn't he. He thought so. Even though he had threatened to eat him earlier. That was just something anyone would do. Not knowing the other.

"I don't mind staying." As if to prove it. He moved to coil himself up, a little ways from Azrael. "I'll just warn you, I'll start to talk." He could always change his mind if he wanted to.

Azrael nodded quietly, pulling his knees to his chest. "I dont mind it... I'm used to being in flocks actually..." He admitted. Kal'de'ial... He said in his head.

He gave a soft chuckle randomly. "If you're afraid of talking too much i can handle it... new born chicks in our flocks never shut up..." He said, giving a soft smirk. He was lightening up to the naga, feeling no threat towards him

He glanced to Kal'del'ial, his red eyes looking at the white and black patterns on his tail. He never had a chance to look at the Naga's features. He was actually quite... handsome?

Kal'del'ial was relieved to hear Azrael didn't min him talking. The talk of chicks, had him curious as to what the life of a harpy was like. He wanted to ask but wasn't sure if he should ask such questions. "May I ask, what you are doing out here?" He didn't see how he could have gotten hurt, if he was in a flock. Did he get separated. He was starting to think that way. Though, he could be wrong.

"I mean, you say you travel in groups, how did you manage to get by yourself." Was it the humans fault. Or was he out here doing something. Didn't he have family? Someone worrying about him. He thought so. He would be like him. With no one who seemed to care. But, that wasn't something to think on now either.

Azrael looked to the naga fully, stretching out his legs more. "I went out on my own... The flock I am in, most but one are younger than I. The other was much older, a harpie woman. She takes care of those new born in my flock. Each has an older woman to help take care of them. I'm what you'd call an 'alpha' male... But we never have any complete superiority. I left to stretch out my wings simply and was ambushed by climbers." He explained, crossing his arms.
He looked down, trying to remember all detail. "It was quite fast and I was fairly angry. Not by the ambush but that I hadn't even mean to provoke them in the first place. An archer or two shot my wing and I was too far out to fly back to the mountains so instead I crashed into the forest. Thats about it..." He said quietly.
"I wont exactly be missed, nor do I expect to be. A new alpha male will take over that flock or joint it with their own. Or the harpie woman may just eat the young, who knows... If I go back I'm not fully sure what may happen, whether I'd be banished or fully welcomed..." He hadn't realized how much he had actually spoken until he finished. He completely didn't mind the other creature beside by now, although he was still wary if Kal'del'ial were to come closer.
