Kal'del'ial had not long ago come to settle himself in the back of a cave. The one he was just temporarily resting in. Or so he hoped. He had even come to coil himself up. Prepared for the cold that was to come with the night. The dark. He did like night time. But he wasn't fond of the cold. Especially when he was in...his current predicament. But that was a story for another time.
So far, he had found himself alone. This why he was here in the first place. But that wasn't the point. There was no reason for him to expect company. He was even tempted to take a nap. Until he was ready to find something to eat. Nothing too big. There was still light out though. He could go out now. But he knew the sun would be setting sooner then later. Not too long from now. He'd just wait a bit in here. See what would happen, if anything would happen, then he would decide what he would do.

Azrael quickly flew through the trees, hitting a few branches as he headed down. His wing was shot through and feathers were damaged. He cried in pain as he landed roughly on the ground. He shook his head and attmempted to run, tripping at first as he tried to stand. A small trail of blood was left behind him as he ran. He wasn't able to fold in his left wing; it hurt him too much.
He spotted a cave by the mountain side and dashed for it, hoping he lost the hunters by now. He panted as he tripped and fell on the ground forward. He groaned in pain as he tried to push himself up but instead fell back down. He caught the odd scent of something familiar... A lizard? No not quite... Not any full blooded reptile at least. He finally gained energy to try and sit up, but as he looked up, he jumped slightly, frightened as he saw the white and red naga.

Kal'del'ial jumped up the moment he saw someone falling into the cave he was in. He only positioned himself to sit up. To strike out if need be. Seeing a creature with wings. He struck him as a threat. At first. But then he saw he was hurt? But why was he hurt. "What are you doing here?" His words came out low, accompanied with a hiss. It didn't matter that he was hurt. All that mattered was the fact he was here. And he didn't know what to expect from him.
The thought of asking what happened had occurred. But he didn't know if he should care. Especially with what he could see was a harpy. Not saying they were enemies. But he could have eaten one without a second thought. Most likely at least. Not that he was thinking about eating this one. Though, in his condition, with what he could see, he looked like an easy mean. Maybe, that was why he was being chased. Did someone want to eat him. He wondered.

Azrael looked slightly frightened as he gazed upon the naga before him. If it wasn't for his wounded wing he would've just flown away, but no it wasn't that simple. He tried to move back, accidentally falling back to land on his injured wing. With a loud caw he cried in pain. He held his hand to his mask, trying to keep it up. "I-I... I just... I just needed a place to heal my wing..." He stuttered out.
He glared at the naga and forced himself to stand, spreading his feathers on his arms and wings, even though it felt painful. The hiss from the naga didn't lighten Azrael's mood. Instead he fanned out his feathers as much as he could as a primitive warning sign. He spread his talons, ready to fight if he must. Although, in his current state he'd most likely turn out a fighting meal for this snake.

Kal'del'ial could see the harpy was definitely injured. He looked like, if he tried to fly, he would have failed. The proof of that came with when he fell. He heard that cry of pain. Then he heard what he said. He needed a place to heal. How long would that take? He wondered. He didn't feel he wanted to be guard the whole time he was here. He didn't trust asking him to promise anything either. Things weren't that easy in life. wished they were, but he knew they weren't.
"Unless you're going to attack me, I don't suggest you do that." Kal took that as a warning sign. One that would prove him to fight. Though, he felt the harpy was trying to keep him away. Or he was just foolish, and did intend to fight him. "I really don't want to fight you." he was never much of a fighter. Not that he couldn't he just didn't care for it .Along with hurting others. He would rather not, if he could avoid it.
"If you must heal go ahead." He wasn't going to attack him. "But if you try something, I don't mind making a meal out of you." It would save him from having to gather, or hunt for something to eat. He would just have to subdue the Harpy, and swallow him. Hopefully without too much trouble. From there, he pictured him resting in his first stomach for awhile. The harpy was a big meal. He didn't mind the thought of feeling genuinely full for awhile. Then he'd have him move towards his second stomach sometime later. Only if he did something to mess with him..

Azrael stiffened for a moment, unsure if he could trust this creature's words. Slowly and cautiously he lowered his arms and flattened his feathers. "And you would just let me stay without any fee or trouble? What game are you planning...?" He growled, taking an unwanted step back.
There had to be some sort of price, right? He was slightly afraid of what price that may be. Azrael did know the naga could easilly eat him, even if he tried to fight. He didn't want to trust him at all, feeling as if he may be crossed, but he didn't want to turn his back either and make a fight. He dropped his arms, still not sensing any more, or any high, hostility towards him. "I wouldn't dare be stupid enough to endanger myself like that..." He spat, realizing how idiotic his sentance may have sounded as he replied to teh Naga's final statement.

Kal'del'ial frowned at the harpy. Seeing he didn't seem to trust him. Hearing the growl. Was he serious? Did he want to fight with him. As if he would win. He might as well just lie down in front of him, and let him consume him. That would save them both trouble. He smelled blood. He was sure the harpy was weak. He was sure he didn't stand a chance.
"A game..." He considered the harpy's words. "Did you want to pay me back?" He honestly wasn't thinking to make him do anything. "What could you possibly pay me with, besides letting me eat you?" Really, he wanted to know. Maybe he would take it. If he felt like it. Right now, he didn't. But he was tempted to coil around the other, if only to get him to stop talking nonsense.
"Not very smart, are you?" Hearing what the harpy said, he was tempted to chuckle. He didn't, he just stared at him. Slightly amused. What was the harpy thinking. "Just remember that." he referred to his own little warning, moving to coil himself back up, for the moment. That didn't mean he let his guard down. He was ready to pounce, or strike at any moment. If he had to. He didn't care to get scratched by those talons. They looked very painful.

Azrael bared his fangfs from under his mask but held in a growl. He sighed, knowing how foolish he was being, having been offered a place to heal even by a naga. He felt very dizzy by now, not realizing he had lost so much blood in just their short conversation. He slowly made his way to the wall of the cave to leane on before sliding down slowly to sit. He closed his eyes, wanting the pain to leave him. At least fighting with the naga took his mind off of it.
Azrael knew he really shouldn't have said those things but he was just to stubborn to let it go. "To... To pay you back...? I'm not just some meal for you... I live in he high mountains..." He started, just getting dizzier by each word. "Gems and jewels, explorers for you to eat, eggs of our enemies... goats... rodents...I... I'm not just..." slurring his words towards the end of his sentance he fell to his side, fully unconscious by now. He had procrastinated his wound for too long.

Kal'del'ial was just watching the harpy from where he was. Observing him. He saw him settle down to sit. Although, it was more like he slid down into a sitting position. He wondered how bad he was hurt. Seeing him close his eyes. He thought he might be dying. Was he. Well, if he died, he just might consume him, or toss him out. He wasn't counting on his death though. He'd consider it. If he became deceased.
For now, he was able to listen to the Harpy talk. How he would pay him back. So, this Harp was from the high mountains. Then what was he doing here? It sounded like he had quite a bit he could give him. Then his words started slurring, and before he knew it. the Harpy passed out. He frowned. Was he going to die now. He better check.
The Naga was reluctant to approach the Harp. But he had no choice. Unless, he was willing to stand by and watch him die. He wasn't willing to do that. That just wasn't how he was. "You must be really hurt..." Kal trailed off, coming to a stop, as he slithered up to the Harp. He tried to get a good look at him. Noting where the blood was coming from. It seemed his wing was hurt.
Why didn't he take care of this. Now he'd have to do something. "I'd tell you to stay here, but I don't think you're going anywhere." The Naga turned, and headed out of the cave. He was going to find a few herbs, and see what else he could use around the woods here. If he could find the right leaves, he might be able to use them. But he had no cloth, nothing to bandage the other with. He couldn't help but sigh at that thought. Oh well, he'd get the them anyways. It would only take a few minutes. He knew where everything was.
That was exactly how long it took. To gather a few plants here and there. Using a very large leaf to carry it in. Then ones were bendable, to a certain extent. Then he used another, to take in and hold some water. There was a river nearby. He had to balance that out, while he carried the herbs. He thought it might be easier, to take more then one trip, so he ended up having to come back for the water. Hurrying back to the cave, setting the large leaf bow by the Harpy. It contained several different plants and berries. "I don't suppose you're going to wake up now." He spoke, looking at the Harpy. He could hope, but doubted it.

Azrael stirred, groaning in pain. He barely opened his eyes before closing them again. His wings twitched but he flinched in the pain in his left. He finally tried to fully open his eyes, his vision heavily blurred. After a while he finally came to, but still very groggy. He growled weakly, trying o get up. His energy was completely drained and he fell back onto the cold rock.
He looked up to the naga, not exactly amused. "W... What...?" He growled, staring back at the naga. "Do you find this amusing?" He asked bitterly, glaring with deep red eyes.

Kal'del'ial frowned. Tsked. Then shook his head. His white, red, and black hair falling across his face a bit. The harpy was really a sad sight to behold. "Amusing." he repeated the word, considering it. Now that he considered it, maybe he did.
"Perhaps." he wasn't going to honestly answer that, and stir things up. He imagined this Harpy, might easily be stirred up. "But that doesn't matter now," He really didn't see what his opinion on what was going on now, doing anything to help this situation.
"I've brought things to help your wound, will you let me take care of it?" He wasn't going to mess with it, if he said no.

Azrael bit his lip under his mask and finally sighed. He looked down, feeling too stubborn to actally say 'yes' but he did want, or at least need, the naga's help. He knew he wouldn't last on his own like this, especially in the lower earth where he was not used to.
He slowly nodded, feeling too stubborn still. He looked up slightly, seeing all the things the naga had brought. He was a little surprised to see the naga actually wanted to try and make him better, but at the same time he did see that if some opposite creature landed in his home he'd heal them to make them leave also.

Kal'del'ial smiled, just a bit. "Good, I'll get started." He already started to move and get started. He gathered up a few herbs. Taking a moment to crush them. He had a rock nearby. He made sure to mix it up properly before taking, what was now a slave, in has hands and slithering towards the harpy's wings.
"Hold still now, while I put this on." That said, Kal took a good look at the harpy's wings again. Going to the injured one. Placing the salve on it. "This may sting a bit." He spoke, knowing it would. But hoping he could withstand it without complain. Within a few minutes, it would be over.
Some cloth would be good now. Did he have any. He thought he might. If not, he wondered if one of those special leaves he found could. Well, it wasn't exactly special. Just durable, and could be used for quite a few things. He just had nothing to bandage a wing with though.
"What did you say hurt you?" It was a trick question of sorts. He knew the other said nothing about what hurt him.
