Tal looked at Allen, he had children of both genders now it mattered little to him what they might adopt.

"Boy" Zoe said quietly having though about it. Girls could be so so bitchy and she didn't want a little sister that might be like that or borrow her things or try to be cuter. Boys were not cute except Wren but he was sort of hers anyways and he lived with Tezza so he was allowed to be cute.

Like a kid at the pet store Zoe pressed her face against the glass.

Tal's fingers glowed again and his hands curled into fists " This has nothing to do with station, I was merely echoing your comments and extrapolating upon them. I concede I may have been a bit rigorous in making my points but that does not excuse that woman's responses to me." The angel seethed he'd had just about enough of being insulted and talked back to and threatened.

"I'm not sure I want anything to do with any of you if this is the way you conduct yourselves. Threats are not necessary and I'm certain miss Blighto could defend herself if she cared to. I am not some ruffian who endangers others simply becuase his ire is aroused." Though he was dangerously close to violence at this point. It wasn't in Tal's nature , he was scholar at heart but he felt outnumbered uncomfortable and he had no idea what he was really dealing with here.

Tal frowned " and how was I supposed to be aware of the relationship between you and I was at no point intending to mock her." He was willing to accept some responsibility for a misunderstanding, he'd already admitted as much but not all of it. "You're the only one here makings threats, I've done little more than visibly display my frustration." Surely no worse than a cat arching it's back or a dog raising it's hackles.

"A couple, they're all really pretty." Maybe not all of them were what normal people would think of as cute but some were and all of them were aesthetically interesting. " Which one do you like?" Yep, just like a kid at the pet store.

The white haired man gave a curt nodded then cast his eyes back over towards his family. From now on he was ignoring his mail.

"Come with me?" For all she knew one of these boys was who had broken the window from before.

Zoe smiled and grabbing both her father's hands dragged them forwards assured they'd protect her if the boys were dangerous. She kept the purply pinkish haired woman's words in mind though. It would be mean to tell people she was gonna take them home if she couldn't.

The boy kinda reminded Zoe of some weird blue mouse pokemon that her father played on his game boy sometimes. She approached him slowly with a gentle smile on her face, mindful still of the broken window from earlier." Hi" would he like her?, did she like him, she wasn't fully sure yet.

Tal watched curiously as his daughter approached the boy in a manner that was friendly but also appraising, typical Zoe really. His eyes slid between his child and his lover trying to see if either was connecting on some level with the boy before them. He himself felt nothing yet but then again he'd taken time to warm to Zoe properly as well.

Zoe crouched down so she was closer to the blue skinned boy's level " you swim a lot?" The auburn haired girl asked curiously.
