"Mmh, I h-hate to ask you to leave but m-maybe I sho- Hm?" Chloe leaned over the side of the bed, glancing down. She laughed as she sat back up. "Y-You've never seen one of...of her kind before? She's a Catopuss Chimera."
Roux floated lower, 'bending' at the waist to reach down. Snowdrop's saucer eyes widened and she began to try and slink away, long tentacle paws reaching out to grip the carpet in the direction of the bed. Roux managed to get a hold of her, however, being as careful as he could as he lifted her up. Her little paws stuck to the floor for a moment and he had to reach down with a free hand to pluck them away before he could straighten, floating over towards Alex once more.
"Snowdrop. Alex was sad Zoe's gone. Roux will be sad if Snow goes." He said it in a warning tone, his expression had turned to a stern frown. The Catopuss was trying to climb over his shoulder but he deftly hung onto it - obviously he'd had a lot of practice wrangling the cephlofeline. "Like Mitya. And Mouse."

Her lips moved to mouth the words after Chloe said them. Catopuss Chimera? Didn't she hear of something like them a few years ago, some...Chimera petting zoo? Did that mean they were attached to the Lab? Alex had quite a few questions with no answers, although all thoughts were eradicated from her mind when Roux yet again approached her. Not only did he approach her, but he talked to her again. He said her name.
The Italian would have gaped at him all day if not for the distant memory of Chloe wanting to sleep. Her eyes literally hurt with how wide they were, but she finally managed to snap her jaw shut and quirk her lips into a semblance of an amused grin. "Snowdrop, huh..." Alex scrambled to gather her wits about herself, looking to the Chimera with a curious gleam in her eyes. No, she didn't have time, not now! She shook her head to herself and gathered Parfait against her chest, giving the Raevan and his cat-pet a smile. "Snowdrop wont go anywhere. You'll take good care of Snowdrop and be happy."
She'd completely missed the part about Mouse and Mitya, which was just as well as she might have stayed to further question. Instead, she lifted the Gwee and kissed her nose before extending her arms to hand Parfait over to Chloe. "I'll get going before you fall asleep on us," she smiled to Chloe, apologetic, "but please, call me again when you can. I'll help you move or even just give you a little housewarming dinner, okay?" Alex refrained from leaning over to hug her friend - mostly because she didn't think her sleeves could hide her bandages that way - instead lifting her hand in a wave. "It was wonderful to see you, Chloe. Please take care, and get some rest! And you, Roux," she gave the icy Raevan a most fond smile, nodding to him, "you take care too. I'd like to see you and Snowdrop and Parfait again."

Chloe stood up, walking Alex to the door. "I'm sorry to c-call you over o-only to have you leave so soon. I'll c-certainly call you again!" When they'd gotten to the door the short woman took the initiative this time and gave Alex a shy hug. "Thank you..."
Roux floated behind, finally letting Snowdrop down, who gave a burbling mewl and tore off under the bed. He raised a hand and gave a short, single wave before he turned away and headed to the glass of the window, sliding his palm over it to feel the coolness of the outside.
When Alex left Chloe closed and locked the door behind her, moving over to the bed where she set Parfait down with a sigh. Oh it was good to see friends again. So much seemed to have happened while she'd been gone. Hopefully she'd be able to catch up again with all of her friends and meet the new Raevens. She didn't have a reason to anymore, save perhaps to try and help Roux get better and meeting and making friends, but she still enjoyed seeing each new life. Meeting each new personality.
"Roux? How do you feel?" The Raeven had said little to nothing on the matter that they'd moved, hadn't requested to see anyone though she suspected he wanted to see Rivener again in particular. They had gotten along the best out of all the Raevens he'd ever met.
Roux turned to look back towards his guardian, a softness had come over his features and though he didn't quite smile she could still tell he was happy. "Yes. It's good." He turned back to watch out the window as Alex walked away from the building. "It's good."
