Synstylae shrugged. "Nothing too exciting. Still a little hurt from certain events but let's save that for another time. I'm just enjoying your company and the sight of your beauty for now."

Phadra went back to splashing the boys.
Sympha smiled. "Oh you were hurt hmm. I'm sorry to hear that. Are you?" She chuckled and nuzzled him. "Nothing to forgive. I quite like compliments. You aren't so bad looking either." She winked at him.

Oscan and Damask looked at their father and giggled, whispering to each other. "I think papa loves her."

Oscan and Damask bounced. "Yes! Sleep over!"
Synstylae brought his attention back to Sympha. "We'll leave as soon as the children are home safe."
Oscan and Damask ran towards the house. "Come on, Phadra!"

Phadra chuckles and runs after them. "Ok thanks! I'm coming" She runs after them.
Sympha smiled. "That sounds good to me." She watches the children run.

It didn't take long for the children to reach the house and he knew Rosa would make sure they would be safe. Turning to Sympha, Synstylae took in her appearance once more. She was breathtaking and he felt his knees go weak.
"Shall we?" He smiled.

She saw the children were safe and turned back to him.

Synstylae began walking, slowly so they could enjoy the scenary and their company.
"Is it hard for you?" Synstylae asked after being silent. "Raising Phadra by yourself, I mean."

Sympha smiled. "Not at all! It was what I wanted at the time. It can be hard, but I have a friend who has helped me a lot. Minty and I share the load so to speak. Plus, our herd has several caretakers for the children." She chuckled remembering Phin with his hair in braids and colored ribbons.
