Raphael (A.K.A Mienkampf) ~Lt. Ryu is about 300 meters away posted on a cliff side. He had Rapheal in his scopes since he set foot in the area. He had opted for a digital zoom scope and now could see as close as a pimple on his back. He placed the cross hair slightly to the left of the center of his body. He had no need to kill this man, just show him he had no reason to be hear. His finger twitched near the trigger as he gauged the distance and wind. One he had compensated the scope, he smiled and spoke silently~ "You dont mess with Xero" ~His finger tightend around the trigger and the gun let out a loud cough that was instantly swallowed up by the sheer vastness of the cliff. The bullet, Specially designed with aero-dynamic features and a sharpened point flew straight and true. Covering the distance in seconds. The bullet slammed into this man's torso and passed straight through, missing the vital organs but hitting the man with the force of a truck~

::Taisashi chuckled alittle, wandering onto the field and looking around, trying to find something worthy of a good fight. He pulled a small gem necklace from his neck and twirled it about his index and fore fingers, making color shine off of each individual stone. He whispered a couple words to himself thinking of patterns and sequences he had memorized since he was a child::
"Hmm, so this is the place my comrade was shot eh? I guess I'll just have to check this out. Beware all ye young ones, the Crimson Death hath awakened."

Taisashi ::Taisashi chuckled alittle, wandering onto the field and looking around, trying to find something worthy of a good fight. He pulled a small gem necklace from his neck and twirled it about his index and fore fingers, making color shine off of each individual stone. He whispered a couple words to himself thinking of patterns and sequences he had memorized since he was a child::
"Hmm, so this is the place my comrade was shot eh? I guess I'll just have to check this out. Beware all ye young ones, the Crimson Death hath awakened." ~Lt. Ryu watched this man intently from a new hidden position a great deal further away.~ "Hmm, I have never seen him before, Is this fool a comrade of the other one?" ~Ryu smiled to himself in a most sinister way. This time, he had opted for increased fire power, and bigger ammo. These shells were specially designed with a small hole drilled in the tip. It did nothing to slow down the bullet but the force of the air in front of the bullet would be just as powerfull as the bullet himself. In other words, he could literally blow this man up with a well aimed shot to the chest, but that was not Ryu's plan.~ "Let's see. I am a good half kilometer away...winds fair, target is stationary and ammo is heavy.....Let's blow off his leg shall we?" ~He patted the weapon like a mother pats a good child on the head. This time, he intended to conceale his position so he had also added the extended silencer, whiched doubled as an accuracy bonus, upping his distance range 30 meters minimal.~ "These fools just make this too easy..." ~He lay prone on the ground, eye set into the scope and gun, on stand, perfectly motionless. He zoomed in half way and got a perfect veiw of the mans knee cap on his left leg.~ "Let's see you hop home back to your boss without this!" ~He let his finger gently close on the trigger, and with one quick pull, sent the bullet traveling 1,086 meters per second, towards the knee cap with deadly precision. It was a difficult shot to make...but he never missed...it was his job to not miss. On contact, the bullet would efficiently slam through the knee cap and literally blow the leg off with the force of a private jet at mach 1~

When the light sudsides, a cystaline cocoon of pure diamond surrounded a five foot area of the man, making the bullet slam into the gemstone and literally get stuck in it like it was a hardened sponge::
"One bullet? I thought someone more crazy about guns would have blasted the earth around me to shards... But oh well, either I will win, or I shall find a better offer..."
::Taisashi sighed alittle, feeling the crystal's scream in agony but it would still hold. He quickly pulled his hand back, calculating the time he had until he had to pull back the barrier for fresh air, quickly pulling a couple glass orbs from his pocket and setting them onto the ground, whispering lighty to them, as if talking to them as individual beings. He stepped back alittle putting a small slip of paper on each of them, taking the knife he always had and pierced his right palm, making blood drip steadily onto each of the papers, slowly forming the arcanic runes that was pressed into each paper::
"Maybe that would be enough.."
::He quietly picked up each of them, wrapping in the blood tainted paper. He got ready, about to release the barrier protecting him, he couldn't hold it any longer because of the need of fresh air. He muttered a arcanic word, making the diamond slowly pull back into the earth. He had saw the bullet hole and calculated where the man would be and tossed the orbs into the air with a small sling on his arm built for the task. He thought to himself what a suprise the person would have..::

Vayon, "I would bother but, I still don't have any clue on whether I am in Xero or not so I'm guessing that no one pays attention to new posts in that area... heh......."
**Vayon pulled out a dagger and stood up almost face to face with Taishi**

~The moment Ryu had pulled the trigger, he fully realised he had underestimated his opponent. He leaned back with a smirk and slowly stood leaving his spot to find another~
"Of course, should have guessed it would be a friggen warlock. But every target has a weakness, and It is only one bullet"
~He silently slipped into the shadows and was instantly gone from that position. Any good sniper knows that once a shot has been fired you always move, target hit or other wise. Better to not risk being found. The element of surprise is key, however, surprise wont seem to work here. Ryu seriously contemplated just bombarding the area as punishment for wasting his ammo, especially when he had done this man the curtisy of not shooting to kill. All of these thoughts aside, Ryu let loose a small smile. He had not had a challenging kill in a long time...and he was long over do. His better senses soon took over however and he forced the smile from his face. He knew better then to laugh at magic, it was always unpredictable, even to the most expirenced of magic users. No, it would be best to just poke and prod. Force the secrets of the extent of this mans power out of him. Test his endurance, then make the kill....
It was time to test out the new defence inplacements he had developed. Now Ryu had to smile...This part was going to be fun...and he wouldn't be anywhere near it~

He pulled out a medium sized sheath from his belt, showing it to the figure who was standing close as he pulled it from the steath. A light glow shined as a Ruby Dagger was withdrawn, the sun making it glint a deep crimson.::
"Now now... I just came here to get an explaination... it was your men who fired at me... and by the way, it isn't magic. Its called Gemshifting..."
::Taisashi took the small knife, still held by his other hand as he punctured the same spot again, rubbing blood against the blade of the gem, somehow making it glow even brighter, whispering some words to dagger as if to tell it his plan.::
"You need not worry about attack... I only attack when ordered to by my.. employer... I am on the defensive right now..."
::Taisashi slowly moved the dagger into the air, as if to make a slashing movement until he sharply jabbed it into the top of his back, where his neck met his back, making him groan alittle and then smile as the gem began to feed, melding with his blood as it did everytime he needed it to. The hilt of the Ruby Dagger was soon the only thing visible until it too had disappeared, leaving a gaping hole from where he had stabbed. Taisashi soon had a bewildered look in his eye as what seemed like his spine came protruding from his back, but this spine was made of silver, not of bone, and it was covered in blood::
"Although.. I c-can't seem to a-actually not do this ever t-time a fight starts... W-what c-c-can I say? Its like a l-lover to me.."
::Taisashi winced and groaned as he reached back, pulling the silver spine from his back as he ripped it foreward, a large splash of blood following the end of it, but at a closer look the blood was actually millions of tiny crimson gem-shards, each of with started to merge together and form ner the silver spine, building a giant blade that Taisashi now leaned on, grinning wickedly as he put his gemstone necklace in the wound, the flesh around it hissed at the necklace as it healed itself, making only the scar that he would always have::
"....... Say hello to my one true love.... The Spine Blade."
::He held up the massive blade after leaning on it for so long, examining it like he had countless times, rubbing the blade with one hand with a loving expression on his face::

He had more or less just appeared behind him~ "Ah, not magic aye? Gem shifting.. Hmm, I have not witnessed this form of ancient magic in a long time but..." ~His eyes narrowed at the man~ "It is magic all the same. But I have not come down here to talk about the history and form of magic. I am before you for the one reason you already know. I wish to know why you are here? What purpose have you in our base. I also ask you to notice that at the moment I am totally unarmed, as I have not shown myself to seek more combat, though if you strike at me I will defend." ~He sharp eyes slowly transitioned their gaze along your body and soon onto the blade. They looked it over for a moment but showed no signs of surprise or concern. Then he suddenly shifted his gaze upon Vayon.~ "And who might you be?"
