Ignacio was all too easily yanked up and pulled along, even if the positioning was awkward. There were no protests, just an easy smile and wandering eyes that seemed unable to focus on much for too long. And then he was in bed. This wasn't the guest bed; Ignacio was at least aware enough to notice that much, but he didn't particularly care. What he did care about was when Grayson flopped down on the bed as well.
Ooh! Did he win? But then he was escaping! No, but Ignacio thought he had won!
He reached out to grab Grayson's hand and pull him back. "Don't need to go, you seem sleepy too." Actually, Grayson didn't seem at all sleepy to Ignacio, all things considered (even if Grayson was actually lacking sleep). What his tired brain was doing was looking for excuses for Grayson not to leave him after Ignacio was so close.
Granted, considering Ignacio's state, he probably wasn't the best person to be near at the moment. "Sleep here," drowsily insisted Ignacio, with a drowsy version of that fond smile he was giving Grayson the other day, back when Grayson had been injured.

He'd made it off the bed and nearly a full step away when Ignacio grabbed his hand. Confused, Gray looked over his shoulder, lips pressed together lightly in a considering look. Ignacio looked like a wreck, he thought again. What he needed was to be in the bed, relax, and sleep. Once he'd rested, he would be able to think clearly, explain what was going on. Shower, eat, do his laundry.
Grayson would need to do his laundry too. He'd been needing to do it for days. They could do their laundry, and they could talk about what was going on.
So, gently, he uncurled Ignacio's fingers, bent over to lift the comforter and tuck it around his classmate. "I'll be right down the hall. Just sleep, all right? When you wake up, I'll be one door down."
Sleep sounded like such a good idea. First, he had to text his parents, and then -- then he was going to collapse and hope that sleep came.
His hands hovered over Ignacio's shoulders, patted them as he straightened. "Good night, Ignacio."

This was the second time an attempt to get Grayson to stay in bed with him had backfired. Though, the first time, Ignacio was also sleepy, but he was tipsy too and was attempting to get Grayson to sleep with him for other reasons. Still, Ignacio could only watch as Grayson uncurled Ignacio's fingers and tucked him in instead.
"Alright." But Ignacio wasn't going to argue with Grayson. At least he would be near, and that was alright. He'd work on this sleeping in the same bed thing another time, when his eyelids weren't feeling so heavy. The ceiling had such interesting patterns in this room. Did the ceiling hide any deep dark secrets? Maybe he could reach up to them with super long arms and pull the tiles apart, get a peak into the mysterious attic. Maybe there was something hiding there that Sherlock Holmes would be proud of him for finding. Skeletons in the attic closet. They would have lasers.
His mind was wandering, and it took a few moments before Ignacio realized that Grayson was trying to say good night to him. When it registered, he turned and offered that drowsily fond smile again.
"G'nigh', Gray."
