Her eyes and nose scanned the area, but this time, her focus was not on potential intruders, but the earth itself. A Varg was strong, and it could take them weeks, or even months, to notice a harmful change in the land. The other, more sensitive, life-forms, however, reacted faster, and she made sure to study them during every patrol. If multiples of them started dying off, she would be sure to tell her Alpha as soon as she could.
She had just started to nose a withering flower, not worried in the least due to the fact that it was the only one harmed among the multitudes, when Rahim spoke once more. She could feel him watching her for a short moment and, while it wouldn't have meant much with others, she knew it was different for the Sikla due to his timid nature. Because of this, she stopped and watched him for a while in return, in a contemplative manner. The warmth of the sun hit the fur along her back, reminding her of her schedule, but she thought this subject was important enough for her to spare some time.
"It is," she answered, not avoiding the subject. She had been honest, but not coldly blunt, and left her comment open for inquiries.
In all honesty, however, his question had taken her by surprise. She wondered if he had been a Kerl up until he had joined Puternic de Feminin to not have been certain of the difference, or if it was something else.
