Tits are awesome and moobs are signs that you're a fat ******** that needs to get a job and stop sitting on the couch eating Cheetos? ******** referring to us as "class" is condescending. I live on my own, have a job, and attend one of the USA's best universities. Don't talk down to me.
Aww, thats so cute. The big hard working man had his little feelings hurt by a wee little girl. For the record, the fat guy who lives a couple of doors down walks 3 miles to work. Amazing moobs by the way.

So Class, what I feel we should all take away from this is that if this were a game of poker, Prejudice beats a bit on condescension.

Boots, A+. Akira and Ivan, B. Oragnism and Mr. Panda, B-. Lucy, C+. And Chuck, you get a C for effort.

I am most interested in military history. Most technology that has developed today as a result of the war effort. Nuclear energy, for example, was created out of the Manhattan Project thanks to Robert Oppenheimer and Einstein. Telegraphs lead to the telephone, so on and so forth.

As for a specific time period...I'd have to say 13th century to modern. So much happened that it is insane to think about.

The French revolution alone is enough for a grad student to do a thesis on. It's insanely jam packed and quick moving. History of communism is more then just Marx forward, you could argue that Neanderthals could have practiced a sort of communism. I know for a fact that people have done huge, mind boggingly huge thesis on the October revolution.

The time frame that I gave was just a rough time frame, but American military history is rather specific, and I think that's what I am going to specialize in. Everything from Fort Mystic to the current war. Included in military history is a lot of labor history, I am finding out. So really it's perfect for me.

oh yeah, the french revolution boggles my mind with how much a pivitol moment it was, essentially being the point at which we consider western civilization modern.

i just read a book by an american reporter in St. Petersburg during the ten or so days during the October Revolution. its about a 200 page book of pure non objective insight. Every last detail of lenin's strategy and activities. during the revolution is layed out, along side the activities of the counter revolution. Ten days that Shook the world by John reed.

im on the reverse side, reading a book by the late Ana Politkovskaya, called Putin's Russia, basically about how shitty and twisted the Russian politics economics, and the war with the chechens a few years back.

people say putin is revitalizing the soviets, except, hes keeping all of the twisted attrocities of a failing freemarket economy discarding socialism, and bringing in the corruption and absolution of the stalinist era with wars started over ego, and greed.
