Tsunake "You are always getting yourself into trouble." She mused more to herself than anything, but she believed him and allowed her eyes to slowly close at his caresses. His warmth, his scent... All these things she wanted to cherish and remember, and she shifted almost shyly to keep themselves close together. With that thought in mind, her tail flicked slowly to tangle itself with his, simply wanting to hold while she leaned and took comfort in him being there with her. At least, for this one night...

Lady_Ourania A smile shaped his mouth at her rebuke, reminiscent of the one that had snuck onto his face at the beach, only slightly softer and taking less effort. He explored the intricate lines of her form, breath purposefully restrained to keep from unnerving the mare. She loved him. The concept was so baffling that he half-wished it was a trick to land him back on even ground, knowing that denial could deflate whatever high carried his teeth through the pearly yellow strands of her mane. But he could not doubt her words as his tail folded ceremoniously over the length of luxurious hair she offered him, ribs curving instinctually into her. The necklace bumped between them, trying to divide their bodies, but he was insensible to anything other than this pursuit. Chimalsi wasn't even certain what this meant, just that she was submitting to it, her eyelids confidently down.

Tsunake His strength was so easy to take solace in, and she snuggled in close to better feel him against her. She... loved him. That was what this feeling was, the reason her heart fluttered and the way her stomach squirmed itself into delighted knots. Still, she only took a soft, shuddered breath, ignoring the cold metal that bumped against her even as she slowly craned her neck to rub her cheek against his. "...I had hoped to see you again. ...But I didn't expect it'd be so soon."

Lady_Ourania A lovely face pressing against his drew him back into her eyes, the kirin's frame growing still while he allowed a cold dose of inaction to flood him, wondering if he'd frightened her somehow. But it was only more fondness, and he brushed back in long, light motions, his horns nudging the array of greenery that framed her features. "... I had to find you." He admitted, pulling back to look at her, a buried disturbance rising again without the haze to quell it. "I thought I knew why, but... this." He sighed, a splash of discomfort enough to remind him of how angry she would be, his beloved's careful plans laid to waste. And yet, here he was, craving Laurelin's attention, her tenderness, even knowing how he would be disciplined.

Tsunake Her eyes lidded themselves slightly, fondly at his actions, but snapped open so she could peer at him when he began to speak. "This." She agreed softly, her tail unconsciously twitching with his even as she sensed his unease. "...I do not want you to do anything you will regret, Chimalsi." And that was where she faultered, suddenly gazing up at him almost pleadingly. She needed to understand. "...Does she... has she hurt... you?" It made her heart clench faintly at the thought, and though she feared overstepping her bounds... How could anyone bear to hurt such a stallion? What had he ever done?

Lady_Ourania His skin tightened where she laid against him, wanting to bury his face in her, inhale her woodland perfume and hide. What could they possibly do that he would feel any amount of remorse for? This touching game, this hide-and-seek-love matter... should he have been more guilty? A few nights ago, he would have felt it right, but he had been lied to, and it hadn't come from the tree-bearing mare's lips. His breath caught at the reluctant question, and he stared down at her, his tail tugging fitfully on the captured hair. "Sometimes," It was barely audible, almost awed by his own sense of correctness. But as soon as it was in the open, he had to amend it, the needed focus sliding away from him. "Sometimes on purpose. Not always..." What he'd considered to be possessiveness, the times where she'd marked him, where she'd cut him off from sunlight, those had hurt, but he'd deserved them. Hadn't he?

Tsunake She could feel the tension that rippled thorugh him, and yet... It wasn't something she felt she needed to fret over. No, and though her body ached to press close to him, she would wait until she had an answer. The tugs made her shift, her neck arched a bit to better watch him, and yet... the answer she received didn't help make her think that this... this mare could be good for him. "That isn't right." Laurelin was murmuring even before he was done, shaking her head slowly as though she couldn't believe it. "She shouldn't ever, ever hit you like that, not ever... Not..." Her skin was already beginning to jitter at the thought. "Why does she hit you?"

Lady_Ourania "Laurelin," His tone rebuffed her boldness, but it was primarily fear that incited it, not wanting her to be somehow overheard, for the information to reach beloved's heated ears. She already hated the mare; he did not want to think of what she would do to her if they somehow met after tonight. "No," He broke away from her as he spoke to someone else, but their tails were still braided, and he would not yank if he could help it. "I've been wrong, done wrong before..." Was he doing it now? She was defending him, distressed by his state, how he'd suffered. Loving him and wanting his happiness was endangering her, putting her in his cherished one's sights. "She knows about you." He murmured, and something distant entered his expression, looking out past her into the malleable dark where shadows flitted and eavesdropped. She'd known even before he had, and her attempts to prevent it had only shoved them together. "It makes her unreasonable. You should not cross her." A stand was a stand, even in something as flimsy as speech, taking place well away from the source. If he went home with such ideas rattling his skull, she would break it and pluck them out with her emerald eyeteeth, and they would have betrayed the fragile mare as surely as if he'd told her.

Tsunake He might as well have bitten her with the way she jumped slightly, looking a bit shocked and appalled at herself before her ears flattened with shame. "I am sorry." Came the murmur, and her head was lowered even as she listened unhappily as he rationalized such terrible behavior. "...I... will try not to, if that is what you want, Chimalsi. I will not interfere." And suddenly she remembered where they were, how precarious their sitaution seemed to be, and she timidly pressed herself back into his side. "I am sorry." She repeated softly, unable to bear the thought of him leaving right now... leaving to possibly face the wrath of one who mistreated him so.

Lady_Ourania The apology shook him into concentrating on her instead of the unknown, and a pang assailed him. He was intimidating her, undoubtedly, even though he had only intended to pass on rumor of hazard. At a loss, he shook out his cropped mane, feeling their mutual link shift and paying careful mind to her as she drew up beside him once more. "Do not be sorry," He sighed, laying his head down between her neck and the base of her tree, feeling strong roots push into his throat while her scent wafted up to meet him. This was what he wanted, the rosy hush of her company in the safety of a forest, temporarily untouchable. "You've done... much for me." She was helping him even now, his muscles starting to relax again, too drowsy to fight himself for long. "It is enough."

Tsunake The comforting weight of his head was enough to chase away some of her insecurities, sighing softly when his words finally came. "I hope so." And it was... rewarding, to hear him say such a thing to her. But she could also sense the way his muscles were slowly unwinding, and she allowed her velvety muzzle to trail near his mane. "You should rest, my dear one... You are very tired." And though her voice was laced with concern, she was already beginning to tug at him gently, willing him to follow her as she lead them to somewhere a little more safe to spend the night.

Lady_Ourania He might have said more to make his convictions hers, but the whispers of pacifying caresses rolling down his spine was a preferred alternative, and he thrummed nonsense appreciation in the mare's direction. Muzzily, he lifted his leaden head and followed her when she desired him to, still leaning like a foal with rubbery legs, though adult sense kept him from toppling her or making a scene. Ignored by his half-asleep mind, their enmeshed tails swung together in a comfortable measure, bronze plaiting through gold, metallic and organic. She could have led him back to his cave and he wouldn't have noticed.
