"I dunno about acting, myself," Andrea commented. "I'm cool with getting on stage, but I don't know about memorizing lines." He moved back his sandwich and took a bite, chewing contemplatively for a moment, then laughed a little. Holding a hand to his mouth to hide any view of ABC-turkey while he spoke around his lunch, and asked, "Unless they're doing a school ballet?" Highly doubtful, but it couldn't hurt to ask just in case one of them knew.
At Robin's suggestion, he smiled and nodded, then shook his blonde-tipped bangs out of his eyes a little as he studied the girl's face. Definite plotting going on there, and he suspected it went beyond Nora's magic show.
"Would you get the audience up there, too?" he pressed. "I mean, good for releasing doves or something from a hat if she's not in the gym or the auditorium, but if she does card tricks, those would be sort of hard to see down below." Then the dancer quirked an eyebrow and glanced at Nora. "Unless you have mastered tricks with like, giant-size cards, too?" Again doubtful, but sometimes his friends surprised him.

"The roof?" Nora's fork stopped short of digging into her own cake at the thought, a hand reaching up to lightly pinch her chin. "That might be a little excessive. And Andrea's right, if we can't get everyone else up there, they wouldn't exactly see much. There's always the track field, though. Or the parking lot?"
Not that she'd be performing anytime soon, though: her skills were leagues below what would be needed to awe and dazzle! She did, however, make a mental note to track down a set of giant-sized playing cards.
"Oh, but it's going to be a musical, it always is," she answered Andrea, waving the fork into the air now. "But musicals mean a lot of dancing too, hon, so even if you don't want to memorize lines that might be an option. I think you should try, you would be amazing!"

Reality always had to ruin her nefarious plots, damn it! Robin pouted as first Andrea, and then Nora, used their twisted, evil logic in order to demolish her rooftop magician idea. She still thought it was a good idea, damn it... but it wasn't worth getting grouchy over. Instead, she shoveled a big bite of cake into her mouth (she had gotten about two-thirds through the piece in just a few bites now) and, one cheek bulging as she chewed, listened to the conversation progress.
"Mmmuh! Wuu fuuuhdk!" she exclaimed in a very positive-sounding voice, eyes coming alight. Andrea would be perfect for dancing in a musical, of course. Robin fancied herself the lead actress (hint: Robin was a terrible actress, it was not going to happen), of course, and Nora - well, admittedly, Robin wasn't sure what she would be best at in a theater production, but Nora could do anything she wanted to, and Robin would support her one hundred percent!
Swallowing her mouthful, Robin continued her thought from before. "Wouldn't it be fun if we all were in it together?" Never mind the likelihood of that happening - Robin was in pure fantasy-land right now.

Andrea paused a moment to digest the first half of his sandwich and the idea of being in a musical. The latter was something he had pondered last year, too, but felt at the time that he did not really know enough other people at school yet to make it worth trying out. This year, well ... depending on what it was, he thought it might be fun to do a bit of more relaxed dancing on stage for the hell of it, especially if Robin and Nora were going to be along for the show, too.
'course, this year, he also had the Firebird production to worry about.
"It would be awesome if we all got in it together," he replied with a grin, which faded slightly after a moment. "I'll just have to wait and see what the time-table looks like, since I've got that thing at the end of April at the dance school."
Still holding his sandwich in one hand, he took a sip of his gatorade, then gestured with the turkey and provolone on 12-grain bread at Robin. "I'll keep an eye out, myself, but I'm trusting you to to make sure I get all the news about auditions and stuff when it comes out," he told Robin; by her usual enthusiasm, he figured he probably did not even really have to bother asking her. She would tell him all about it even if he had not made the request. But still, coordinated efforts, just to be sure the three of them were on the same page, if they really wanted to get in on the school musical together.
