OHHH, and update....

Picked up the One-man lightjet w/ black guard, a Clu's Sentry, and found a Lightrunner biggrin . Now I'm only missing the Black Guard core figure, 3 man lightjet and, of course, Castor. But HIGHLY doubt I'll ever even see a Castor core fig in my lifetime as the only ones to surface were stolen by factory workers that sold them on ebay since the figure was pulled from the line last minute due to some legal issue with using the actor's likeness sad

I wish that stores were still getting active shipments as I REALLY want to get a Kevin Flynn ID disk and a second Rinzler disc as well.... I will even prolly try to buy a second Sam disc as I would LOVE to mod one with LED's or EL lights and make it more true to movie...

Also gonna prolly pick up the 4 deluxe figures if possible. the detail is really really good on them...

Sheesh, you make it sound like it isn't that much to collect. Great job so far. ouo

If only I wasn't planning to spend my cash on dj equipment and cosplaying I'd definately buy the Razor keyboard/mouse. No doubt.
Oh gosh, have you seen these?! Thomas and Guy-man figures. Aaaauugh, dooo waaant. ಠ Aಠ

Considering that I literally JUST got into Tron after visiting Disney's California Adventure and expiriencing elecTRONica JUST before Legacy released in theatres, yes, I have amassed QUITE the collection in under a years time!!! Almost the whole "core" collection of figures and vehicles, both the keyboard and mouse, 2 original Tron figures, 2 ID discs, and the Xbox and iPhone games... Definitely not too shabby and its only going to grow over time as long as Tron products are being produced... I REALLY want to get back to Disneyland as I'm now MUCH more aware of just HOW MUCH fan service they are doing during the elecTRONica event... When I was there, I played a game called Vice Squad, COMPLETELY UNAWARE THAT IT WAS A CUSTOM GAME AND ARCADE CABINET COMPLETELY EXCLUSIVE TO FLYNN'S ARCADE!!!! There were OTHERS from the list of games stolen by Dillinger that were also in the arcade that I recognized the names of when I watched it for the first time!!! So they have more than just Space Paranoids in that arcade that are "new" and made as part of the promotion of Legacy...

OH, and you're a DJ huh?? I would HIGHLY recommend that you get this

Virtual Vinyl

Its an amazing system that works remarkably well in allowing one to use all the digital flexability while allowing one to mix and scratch using turntables and vinyl which just is so much funner than those little CD platters and such.

I don't DJ, but I am a vinyl enthusiast. This is my current turntable I use

TTXUSB

picked it up on my b-day this year.

As I work in the live audio and concert industry, I'm very aware at how expensive all that equipment can be so I wish you the best of luck in putting it all together. If you need any advice or have any questions about gear or whatnot or just need some advise or suggestions, please don't hesitate to ask. I live and breathe the tech and industrial side of music production and its part of my job to know about that stuff so its no bother..

YOU WENT TO THE elecTRONica EVENT. ASDFGHJKL; I found out about it maybe a week after it happened! I was busy with school and etcetera BUT ARRRRGH I WOULD'VE WENT. ; A;

Gosh, I am just staring at that turntable.
Hey man, I'm just barely dabbling in the entire world of dj tech and such, so I'm still finding my way around things. I have a buddy irl who's going to help me out with learning how to actually scratch, since I've only been given a chance once for like a few minutes. I've been messing with music programs in the mean time, trying to get back into the whole feel of music in general. It's been years since I've played a musical instrument of any sort (since seven years of piano made me hate playing anything for a while) so it'll be some time before I purchase anything. At least two or so years of listening to nothing but electronica gives me a sizable mental library. xD
BUT, I am still a sucker for dj equipment.

So it is likely that I WILL one day refer to you for advice on the topic. Till then, I shall simply derp around the interwebs. :B

Wait, you would've went?? meaning you had a chance to go to Disneyland but didn't and then found out about the event??? If you can afford it or can save the money, I would HIGHLY HIGHLY try to get down there before it ends in Spring of 2012!!!

It was this event ALONE that sparked my interest in Tron and turned me into this FANATICAL fanboy I am today!! That's not bad for a total of 8 hours (spent over 2 nights as it opens at 6:30 and closes at 10)!!! And you wanna know whats even MORE crazy?? It wasn't even running COMPLETELY as it was MOSTLY RAINED OUT!!!! Only ONE night I was there did they activate the recognizer and have all the projections and blacklights going!! No DJ or Laserman performances, no special vender booths selling the ID discs, just ambient effects for ONE night... The only parts that were open both nights were the End Of Line club, Flynn's Arcade, and the special "sneak peak" of Legacy 3D!! But that was STILL enough awesomeness to reel me in FOR LIFE!!!! I actually ended up playing on Space Paranoids both nights as the Arcade was rather unpopulated and got pretty damn far... You can only play one token, no continues. It has 20 levels and I was able to get to level 16 one night!!!! I was on the arcade so long that the park closed (i was too into the game and didn't realize it) and the employees started gathering around and watching me!!! ( I was unaware of them..) Apparently (as the event hadn't been open too long at the time) I had gotten the furthest of any non-employee thus far!!! Park closes at 10PM and I was litterally playing until around 11!! They were gracious (and spell bound) enough to just let me play despite the park being vacated!! They even left all the lights and decor ON so that as I walked out I got to be basicly "alone" on the Grid!!! It was SURREAL!!! A COMPLETELY EMPTY PARK BUT ALL THE DECOR STILL GOING JUST FOR ME!!! blaugh Without a DOUBT on par with the best expirience I've ever had at the park!! My other was a day of unprecidented luck for my family when I was younger that led to things that normally only happen to VIP's and celebs and we just happen to be in the right places at the right time and talked to the right people multiple different times in one day for them to occur...

As I said, I MUST MUST MUST get back there at least ONE more time before its shut down D; I wanna be able to expirience it IN FULL!!! Screw World of Color!! I went on the first night (that the grid wasn't active) and it was still WAY more mesmirizing!! I DID have a segment (no long part of it I think) that was Tron that made me decide to check out the elecTRONica section, so I DO have to give World of Color "some" credit, but its still overall LAME compared to elecTRONica... Much rather spend the short time at night the park is open on the Grid than watching a water show... (most of the guests watch the show than elecTRONica is my reason for saying that btw..)

PHEWWWW... rant over...

Glad u like my turntable biggrin I LOVE it!! its AMAZING!! one of the best turntables available in fact... It has completely customizable stop AND start speeds, reverse, 33 45 and 78 speeds, pitch shift and correction, bpm counter, vinyl to MP3 cabability... Its just LOADED!!! Most DJ's actually consider this the best turntable out there and prefer this one over most Technics, which are overpriced IMO...

But yeah, any questions are welcome should they pop in yr head ^-^

YUP!! Every Friday thru Sunday evening in California Adventure!!! It was supposed to end sometime mid summer of 2011, but it's been such a success that they decided to keep it around til this Spring!!! Sad that it WILL end cat_crying but, at least it lasted longer and still gives me time to get some money saved for a ticket (or MORE) so I can experience it at least ONE last time before its gone for good ( cat_crying ) Heh.. seems pretty despirate.. willing to buy tickets to a Disney park that's kinda "meh" JUST to go to a nighttime event that lasts around 4 hours.... Personally, I think that's Disney's bad...

There should honestly be a WHOLE AREA of the park that is half OLD grid, and half NEW grid!!! THAT. WOULD. BE. THE. GREATEST. PARK. EVER!!!!!!!!! cat_burning_eyes

And just keep an eye out for deals.. I found a mismarked floor model... I got a near $500 turntable for almost 90% off b/c of a wrong tag... cat_wink

I have the original tron movie on dvd and tron legacy I have the game for psp and ps3 I have a few figures and I had to get the identity disc that lights up XD and I have a poster and the cd from the movie lol I try to get my hands on alot of tron stuff also I'm making a Tron cosplay

I still have yet to get the original, but I've rented the blu-ray enough times that I already watched all the special features and the film w/ commentary.. Also, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it for Christmas... I don't have the game on PSP as my PSP has been hijacked by my brother and I haven't seen it in like 3 years.. Tho I am debating on getting the UMD movie of Tron, if just to have it... I don't have the soundtracks on CD, but I did get both digital versions.. I just found out they made a limited pressing of the Legacy soundtrack on vinyl, so I may have to just get that!!

Which figures you pick up, and which ID disc??

Also, who is the cosplay of??

Finally have the Blu-ray/ DvD set of Tron. And also Recieved the Clu's light cycle vehicle to complete my figure/vehicle collection!! biggrin

Edit: forgot to mention that I also got the Wii game : Evolution Battle Grids Championship Edition!!! Also got the DELUXE figure of Rinzler. Love the detail and now wish I had gotten Clu when I had the chance, but eh, not a huge biggie. I'm still surrounded by all things Tron wink

Woo Hoo!! Not a bad haul!!! What do u mean wallpaper?? Did u physically get one of the Tron wallpapers up in yr room, and if so, pics PLZ? Or do u mean a compooter wallpaper??? And Recognizer as in the vehicle case?? Mini figures as in the Target mini figures or the 'core' 4 inch figures?? (isn't Clu's lightcyle just amazing in detail btw :B ). Also, big congrats on the Comic Con Tron figure. I LOVE the whole arcade packaging and how it's so displayable!!
