Winter got low to the ground and relaxed all her muscles. She closed her eyes, and let herself ease into her primal form. She lay a paw on Creed's thigh, and gave him a toothy smile. The fox lept to her feet and trotted out the bedroom door.

Winter entered the living room. The space was large and elaborate, unlike anything she'd ever seen. The room was red like the hall. It had a few couches which looked bright and fluffy, very soft. Again, this room was candle lit, with roses and ornate decorations. The little fox hopped onto a windowsill and gazed outside. There was a lake visible from there. She stretched her legs and hopped off, wandering back to the living room entrance.
Winter was not paying attention, however, and bumped into someone's legs. She scented it as Creed who must also have come to explore.
She decided if Creed was going to be exploring as well, she may as well accompany him.
She hopped up to stand on her back legs, closed her eyes, and eased back to human.
"I am sorry if I startled you, I suppose I should have told you that I am a walker..." Her eyes glowed gold before fading back to their normal green.

Winter sighed in relief when she heard him say that he hadn't been surprised. Not many people took to kindly to her when they found out what she was, Walkers had long been rumored to be evil creatures. The truth was that Walkers had often been confused with Skin walkers; Walkers did not truly have a name. Most of them had been killed off.
Still, Winter smiled at Creed again. "It is quite beautiful here, isn't it? I only hope they have some place forested, or I'll have to find somewhere else to do my running. Care to explore the rest of the mansion with me?"

"Did you know that men used to tell women 'Ladies First' in case the door was boobie trapped? True story." she giggled. Winter linked her arm in Creed's, and smiled at him. She hadn't smiled so much since Demitri died so long ago. "We're going together. I say we head to the kitchen and see what's there."

"I wonder if we are to do the cooking, or if someone else does it," her stomach grumbled in unease. She hadn't hunted, nor had she eaten normally since she got here.
Winter led Creed down the hallway to the next door. She peeked her head in and saw another elf, this one was a man. He looked like a wood elf. "Morbrethil is my name. Welcome to the kitchen, Neth Gaur, and Neth Maethor. If there is anything you request of the cook, please do not hesitate to ask me." He bowed respectfully.
"I am not a Werewolf, Morbrethil, I am a fox. My only request is something rabbit, how about you, 'Young Warrior?"

"Rabbit for the lord and the lady." Winter nudged Creed. "Would you like to go see the dining room?

Winter smiled when Creed took her hand; her heart beat just a little bit faster. She followed his lead to the next room, and wasn't surprised to see that the Dining Room was as elaborate as all the others.
