The buck watched her for a few moments, still fairly curious. "It's habit, I suppose." He shrugged and blinked as the wind picked up and her feathers were blown away. He traced one with his eyes and moved towards it.

"Let me help you." His tail flicked as he followed after one of the feathers. With the glow of the moon and the stars and the firefly, his markings and the ice on him seemed to glow vibrantly as he bent his head down to pick up one of the feathers.

Moki grabbed a second feather, following another one. Three out of seven. She looked for the other ones, gathering them in her mouth. She looked for the pale cream ones first, they'd show up better.

Her tail thrashed widley as she looked. Oh! Was that one? No.. that was a leaf. She had three, four were left. She looked, glad that the wind had died down. The number of fireflys grew, flying into the wind and being whisked away. She paused, watching them. "So pretty." She said softly, eyes high in the sky.

Kisharon picked up one of the purple feathers and walked to her side, opening his mouth to speak, but instead raised his eyes to follow hers. "They are." Her murmured before setting the feather where it belonged. "Here." His words were soft and calm. He watched her for a few moments before he gave an awkward smile and stepped back, his gaze dropping down to scour for more feathers.

Moki smiled softly. "It is fine.. I can kind more later, thank you, again." She smiled, golden eyes watching his movements. Ear ears swiveled, listening to the night song. "Come, sit with me and watch them dance." She said, motioning to the lights above them.

She moved, distancing herself from the forgotten wolf grave. She took residence under a tree, the fireflies flickering in the sky. She looked to Kisharon, smiling happily.

Kisharon considered her and the situation for a moment before nodding and sitting at her side beneath the tree. His eyes traced the movements, the dance, of the fireflies above him and closed his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, and fluttering them open again. His markings gave a gentle glow as he took slow breaths, a soft, hidden smile marking his maw as he gazed.

He gave Moki a sideways glance, a smile, and a nod as he folded his hooves before him elegantly.

Moki smiled, leaning against him lightly. Her eyes half shut as she watched the dance. It was oddly relaxing to her, a reminder of her home. It made her slightly tired, her mind at peace for a moment. Thoughts drifting in and out of her head.

An ear flicked lightly. "Do you have a fawn of your own?" She asked, almost tranced out. She gave a small start at her own words. "A family of your own, I mean." She added, almost too fast to seem normal.

Her front legs were curled under her, but she shifted her back legs out, stretching them in the cool grass.

He seemed surprised at the contact, watching her for a few moments as she leaned against him, but did nothing to move away and relaxed. The buck's eyes traced the sky above them as he considered her words for a few long moments.

"A family? No, not quite. I have a mother and brother, neither of which I have seen for a long while. Other than that?" He paused and blinked, glancing to her, "Other than that, no."

Kisharon's head tilted to the side in consideration and he looked from her, back forward, and once more to the sky. "And yourself?"

She nodded lightly, eyes dropping the the ground. "My family is far away. They are in a very different world then yours." She said, laying her head down. "I came to learn, to keep the balance of things. But so far I have been unsucessful." She said lowly, sadness creeping into her voice.

"If I cannot make it here, as earlier prooves, I will return home to take over for my mother. As well as the mate she chose for me." She said simply, looking away. Her voice was low, and strained. She was unhappy with the alternative she had to face soon.

"You do not wish to take this path, I assume?" Kisharon looked down at her, blinking. The wind gave a gentle blow and his long hair draped slightly over the doe's body. He shrugged and laid his head down beside his hooves. "Then stay here," he said simply, gazing upwards towards the stars.

His tail flicked and he fell into thought. Tonight had held... a strange turn of events. And now... He glanced to Moki, thoughtful. Well, one could never really tell for sure how things would continue to turn.

Moki closed her eyes, sighing. "I wish it were that simple." She said, enjoying the surprising warmth he brought. "It is the law of my land.. And I cannot meet the law." She muttered, watching as the fireflies started to settle. Even the crickets were growing tired. Only the sound of the wind and the owls echoed.

"I will not dishonor my family by breaking the laws of my people. I set out on my journey agreeing to the terms, and I must keep them." She added solemly. She knew she had to, but she didn't really /want/ to.

Kish blinked again and closed his eyes. His muscles seemed to loosen as he relax, his pulse a calming beat throughout his body. "Then it seems like you have no choice but to 'make it here,' do you not?" He quirked a brow, not opening his eyes as he addressed her. The quiet, now, seemed rather calming. The sounds around them, the songs of the creatures of the night, seemed to die away.

"What must you do to be able to stay, if I may ask?" One eye pried open and gave the other Herla a sideways glance.

Moki opened an eye. "Things..." She said, golden eyes almost glowing. "I have to.. basically... " She fumbled over the words, tempted to say it was a secret. She closed her eyes, taking a relaxing breath.

"I have to live amoungst your people and follow the path of your does. Learn about your culture, your lives. Your fawns, your mate. Things like that. Then I return home and share the information. But... Even then I must stay there unless I am needed, and accepted, here." She said, letting out a yawn. "Bring back knowledge and peace for our people." She finished, peaking open. "If I cannot survive, I cannot bring the knowledge.

Kisharon blinked, opening his eyes and looking to her curiously. This Herla was constantly surprising him. "I... see." He watched for few few moments before closing his eyes again and giving a light sigh. "I would aid you, Moki, but I know little of the culture. I was fairly... isolated, for lack of a better word."

"Still," he continued, flicking his tail, "If there is anything I can do, feel free to ask." He shrugged, flicking his ears, listening to the fading sounds of the night.

Moki opened her eye, raising her head. "Isolated? What is the meaning of this word?" She asked, head tilted with curiosly. She struggled, at times, to remember the new worlds. She had learned long ago the second language, but learning and living were two very different things.

She smiled at his next words. "You are move helpful than you know, Kasharon." She said, laying her head back down. The golden bands around her leg glinted and shined in the moonlight. It was peaceful. Beautiful.

Kisharon blinked, glancing at her before looking back ahead. "Isolated..." He paused in thought for a moment, tilting his head upwards. "It is to be... separated. Apart. During my upbringing and most of my life I was never really one to engage myself with others, let alone participate in their culture..." His voice drifted off thoughtfully and he gave a light sigh, his eyes wandering to the golden bands around her legs, then back up towards the shining moon, and he fell silent.
