Diego smirked as he had the larger man down on the mat. Bending down low, Alva crouched down behind Jarel. He would wait for the hopefully groggy man to begin to stand up. If he remained undetected by the time the larger man was to his feet, Diego would leap into the air from behind Jarel and go for the DKO.

The crowd gasped with anticipation as Jarel groggily climbed to his feet. With a focused look on his face, Diego waited until the opportune moment before making his move. Running up behind his opponent, Alva leaped into the air and turned so that his back was parallel with the ground. As he began to fall, Diego grabbed the back of Jarel's head. The downward momentum of Diego's body, combined with the unsteadiness of Jarel's balance due to his groggy state, caused the big man to fall backwards with Diego. A dull thud sounded through the arena as Jarel's head hit the mat, thus completing the DKO.
With his opponent downed, Diego quickly went for the cover.

(would've been alot more active if not for moving issues)
Jarel may be groggy and hit with the DKO, but just before the referee reaches the 3 count, he jerks his shoulder up off the mat

Diego grabbed his hair and yanked it with frustration as he felt Jarel's shoulder move off the mat before the three count. After sending a dark glare in the ref's direction, as if he hadn't made the count fast enough, Diego got to his feet. Once he was in an upright position, Diego reached down and attempted to grab the larger man by the hair and pull him to his feet. If he was successful in pulling Jarel to his feet, Diego would attempt a DDT maneuver in order to increase the damage to the man's skull.
