Agony smiles. "Ah, an independent type. Well there is nothing wrong with that I suppose. I was merely under the impression that the humans enjoyed each other's company."
"Oh she's not? Well that's too bad. From the way you spoke about her I had assumed you were very close indeed." Agony seems to sound sad for Synnove's sake.
Agony gives a toothy grin. "Ah now you see dear bunny. I did say that. If you needed anything." A low chuckle, "but you see, trust in me isn't me helping you with anything now is it?" She rises to her feet. "I'm going to my den now. You can follow if you aren't afraid." Picking up the piece of obsidian she starts out at a slow trot. Slow enough that Synnove could keep up comfortably if she chose.

"Citlali is different. She's not like most humans. She understands better than most humans ever could," Synnove says fondly, wings fluttering a bit as she hops along behind Agony.
"Ami and I... Kind of clash. She's rather protective of her stuff." She shrugs her little bunny shoulders. "Not really a lot to say about her, to be honest. She doesn't get out much."
Still frowning, Synn follows closer behind Agony. "You are quite an inconsistent wolf-y, if I may have my opinion, Agony. Not much to trust." Faking a calculating mood, Synn smiles. "But I think you're worth the benefit of the doubt. Now, what sort of shinies have you got? Besides the new obsidian, I mean."

Agony can't really find anything to say about either Citlali or Ami. So she says nothing. Her tail flicks as she's rather surprised Synnove is brave enough to follow her. Interesting. I wonder what gives her the courage.
"Of course you may." She chuckles, "what is inconsistent about me?" Agony rewards Synnove with a toothy grin. "I'm a wolf. What is there to trust? Oh-ho! Am I now?" She clearly is amused by her responses. "I don't rightly know what its called. Just shiny stuff I found and kept. Don't know no names."

Synn smiles. The wolf won't eat her for her opinion. Good thing to know. "Well," she says, a bit coyly, "you definitely say one thing and then say another thing that contradicts it. And just because you are a wolf doesn't mean you can't be trusted. That's just a stereotype." Synn hops along cheerily and throws a glance is Agony's direction once in a while. "If there's one thing I can't stand, it's stereotypes. I mean, look at me," she exclaims, using a paw to point at herself. "Shouldn't I be hiding in the bushes shaking somewhere instead of talking to you? And look at you - shouldn't you be trying to eat me?" She rambles on for a bit, losing track of time. But eventually, she cuts back to the topic of shinies.
"I suppose most wouldn't. I don't know many names either, actually... Just the ones I've been taught at the old camp and such." Her ears bob as she hops. "Have you ever been in a camp?" she asks, trying to keep the conversation going.
"Are we there yet?"

"Normally I'd have to say rabbits run and hide from me. I don't chase when I'm not hungry. Wouldn't do to waste good food you know." Agony sounds amused and wonders how she'll react if she thinks she was just being kept around for when the wolf did get hungry.
"Ah and here I thought you'd be an expert on shiny names. You sounded like you knew so much. A camp? Here and there." Agony says vaguely not wanting to reveal much. "Yes actually. Just over this hill."
She reaches the top of a grassy hill and pauses. Looking around to be sure no one but her and Synnove are in the area to see where they goes. Agony carefully tests the wind for strange scents. With a nod to her companion she starts down the opposite side of the hill almost at a slink. She blends in with the grasses, barely moving them as she passes.
Under an old oak tree is the mouth to a dark seemingly endless tunnel. Agony squirms into the small opening. The place probably once belonged to a fox. After a couple of feet the tunnel opens up to allow Agony to stand fully up. She trots down the long path into the main chamber. Turning she looks back to see if Synnove is coming.

Synnove thinks for a little bit. "Well, I'm not just any rabbit, am I? I've got antlers. And wings," she says, fluffing her feathers. "I don't think they'd be too good for eating," she adds confidently. The wolf had said that she'd come to her aid several times before, so Synn didn't think she was in much danger.
"Nope, I only know a few names. Last camp I was in, I got to eat gummy worms." She smiled, remembering happily. "I think I kept some somewhere... I'll have to make you eat one sometime. They're yummy."
When they reach the top of the hill, Synn ducks in the tall grass, trying to hide her antlers as Agony sneaks quietly down the slope. Deciding the only way to go about making it down the hill without being seen is to run on all four paws, Synnove crawls carefully down the hill, trying not to stab Agony with her antlers.
As they approach the oak, Synn looks around nervously. She peers into the darkness after Agony. "Agony," she whispers anxiously. "Agony, I don't think I can fit in there." She glances around again, thinking that there could be any number of things lurking out in the landscape.

Agony glances over her shoulder at Syn. "Hmmm well so you do. Doesn't make you right bunny then. Who knows you might be too dangerous to eat. Something went wrong with you." She teases the other and wonders if she'll rise to the bait.
"Gummy worms? Sounds..... rather gross. Why would you eat worms anyhow? They're slimy and blah, covered in dirt." Agony gives a distainful sniff. She knew what worms are; haven encountered them while digger her den and sometimes when they crawled through. Not something she cared to snack on.
Agony turns around and pokes her head back out. "Really? Are you sure? I really don't want to take my shinies out of my den."

Synnove giggles a little. "Yeah, just a little dangerous." She gives Agony a wink. "Better not eat me, wolfy."
Synn laughs again when Agony doesn't seem to understand the concept of gummy worms. "Gummy worms aren't actual worms, silly. They're candy, y'know, a treat? And they're covered in sugar." She rubs her tummy with a paw thoughtfully. "Gummy worms make me a wee bit crazy..."
Still standing outside of Agony's den, she comes back to the subject at hand. "Pretty sure... But I don't want you to have to take them out of your den. I don't want to have be out here any longer than I have to be, myself." She gives the landscape another anxious glance. "Let me see... You might want to move. I'm going to try to see if I fit." Without another word, she turns and backs up to the entrance of the den. When she's successfully fit herself in the entrance up to her neck, she tries to fit her antlers in. They squeeze through, but only just barely.
Breathing a little heavily, she addresses Agony again. "I think you're going to have to give me directions. Backwards is the only way I'll fit."

"Oh dear me. That puts me in my place. I'll have to warn my friends about you." Her tongue lolls out in her amusement. Well this little critter promised to be amusing if nothing else.
Agony flicks her ears. "Then why are they worms if they're not actually worms? Sounds like a trick to me. I don't know what this candy of yours is, but a treat for me is a juicy rodent crunching between my jaws." She licks her lips. "Just a wee bit hu?" Her eyes twinkle, wondering what the bunny thought was wee.
Politely Agony steps back to give her companion room to enter. She chuckles, "well that's easy enough Synnove. It'll curve slightly to your right, but just keep backing up until it widens out. Simple." She moves completely out of the way and sits waiting in the main chamber of her den. It would be interesting to see if she actually got stuck.

Synnove instinctively nods at Agony's directions, but only succeeds in knocking a little dirt from the roof of the cave. A kink begins to form in her neck. Groaning, she says, "I'm backing up now. Hurry so I can stand up in the cave at the end, please." She begins to waddle slowly backwards, one paw at a time. She can feel the dirt working into her fur and shudders as she follows the curve of the cave. This is going to take weeks to get out the mats... she thinks in irritation.
