Well how can I explain it? xD His personality and character has a certain feel that makes him much more lively and easier to connect to him... I guess It's harder to explain then I thought. xD Ermm... Just ignore me for now;;;; -emocorner- Don't be emo about it! D: The definition of character development gets juggled a lot all the time. I THINK I know what you're saying about Big. Is it the fact that he seems like such a normal kind of guy compared to the other Sonic members? It's true to easily relate him to others like that smile Yeah! biggrin That's it. I think. xDD I tend to get very defensive when someone calls Big a retard or a stupid character, because lets face it, he's got something mentally wrong with him (or has a speech problem, but non-the less...), and I have a mentally challenged little brother. So when they make fun of Big, It's like making fun of my baby bro. X:

Scars-of-an-Undead Now when I think about it, Tails DID have a bit of character development. Trying to be independent without Sonic right and become brave? (ex: the last boss battle in Tails' storyline). It was development but when I think about it it wasn't too noticeable. :S Kinda sucked how they didn't go farther with it. I can see it going well. And I never played Sonic Chronicles gonk But I was glad Big was in it anyway. He's considered a badass in my book >:U Big's a freaking tank in Chronicles. The writing is great, too. "OH NO I'M BLIND--Wait no my eyes were closed."

I'd have to go with Elise. She's one of those typical damsels in distress and she does nothing except help Sonic run over quicksand and water. Which is lame because he can already run on the water's surface and he can just jump over quicksand. |: And as someone else mentioned earlier, that timeline technically didn't happen so there's no point for her to even exist.
I have a lot of disdain for Chip, or whatever that little thing's name is who acts as a sidekick for Sonic in Sonic Unleashed. They keep replacing Tails as Sonic's sidekick, which is really sad. |: Tails is supposed to be Sonic's best friend and right hand man, so it just pisses me off when they replace Tails with some other character.
...How is Sonic a drama queen...?

I know how you feel about Chip. Tails does seem to get replaced constantly. The poor fella! D: Chip has a cute design, but when I played the game, he felt like an equivalent to Legend of Zelda's Navi. He would freeze the game at the most obnoxious times and he just got on my nerves XP
And if anything, I think SHADOW is MORE of a drama queen than Sonic! xp "MARIAAAAAAAaaaa..."

I TOTALLY agree with you there Scars.
Not counting to me.....
Sonic is more like one of those jocks who like to run and stuff like that. =T He kinda reminds me of those kind of people.

Burn on me all you want, but I hate Silver. He's such an annoying emo kid. "Wahh Blaze left me, now what? D8" And then he seems to just totally forget about her.
Possibly the only thing I like about him is that he is fuzzy.
And he wasn't even supposed to be a hedgehog, which is a MUCH overused species in the series. Plus, his name is just as horribly un-original as most of the other characters.
He whines a lot and his powers annoy me. I wish they'd get rid of Silver and let us play as Rouge more often. Or bring Mephiles back. He was an idiot, but I liked him.

To be honest when they first debuted Silver in the series, and showed him in the trailer, I thought he was going to be a religious zealot warrior. I LOVE those characters since they'll do the craziest of things in 'the name of their God'. After all - in his first trailer, he was talking about getting revenge on the Iblis Trigger which I believed (correct me if I'm wrong!) translated into something odd like the 'Devil's Son' (Mephiles is also a shortened form of Mephistopheles, which is Latin for Satan). SO I THOUGHT SILVER WAS GONNA BE INTENSE AND SERIOUS AND BADASS.
Aaaaaand then we got a prepubescent teen who whines instead.
You don't realize how disappointed I was when I picked up the game and was hoping to see a religious, badass zealot. ;-; On the brighter note, I did love Mephiles as a villain, but I wouldn't bring him back for the sake of ruining his "touch".

You think that Silver's bad, Shadow tends to set a bad example for some kids.
Like the gun thing? It should warn kids under 13 on the front of the game: "Kids, whatever you do, DO NOT DO THESE STUNTS OR ACT THIS WAY IN REAL LIFE!"
So if you think Silver is bad, think again! scream
Though I may be a Silver Fangirl, I think that he has his rights of being one of the charas also and he actually only cried and whined because he only had one friend. =T I can't really blame him for that.
