" You think that by blaming it on others, you can wipe away your guilt," Morpheus murmured, practically cooing with delight. "Delude yourself all you want my dear, keep telling yourself it's his fault, maybe that will make the pain go away." He cackled, patting her cheek, a mocking look on his face.

He smirked to himself, crossing his arms as he leaned forward. "But let me tell you something," he whispered, caressing her cheek. "No matter what you say, no matter what you do, you will still retain that guilt." He laughed, turning away from her, not surprised when she said he was right.

"Of course I'm right, my dear, you were just a bit slow to realize it." He shook his head, eyes closing briefly as he listened to her finally come to the
correct conclusion. "Killing yourself? How bold of you," he sneered. "But, I bet you're too cowardly to go through with it... Though, I am glad that you're finally thinking of the happiness of others." He snickered, running a finger across his lips before tapping his chin. "It will be better for everyone this way... Better yet, you won't hurt anymore, now will you?"

He let out a harsh barking laugh, twisting his head to glance over his shoulder at her, head turned at an awkward and what to most would be an uncomfortable angle.

"You didn't think of it, my dear, because you were still trying to convince yourself you weren't completely worthless." He smiled, eyes narrowing into slits as he grinned at her, feeling no compassion. "But now that you've realized it, you can just get it over with for everyone."

"I promise not to mourn your passing," he said, practically howling with laughter.
