Well I want to become an artist when I'm older," Red said, then adjusted his eyepatch. Red turned back to his drawing and continued to shade it in, then threw down his pen in frustration. "Ugh, why do I even try? It's not like I'll ever get to a good art school, I suck at drawing!" Red smacked his head down on the table, muttering to himself.

₪₪ Atsu and Atsuki ₪₪ Who am I....really? 
╔════════════════════════════════════╗[Work? Meh, my parents think I'm too young for that. But I want more money!! DX Where do you work?]
Atsu's ears flattened when the man yelled in frustration. Looking over his shoulder, he was finally able to get a good look at the drawing. Some kind of dog creature with many heads. He certainly never saw anything like it, but it wasn't bad. "I think it's pretty good." He spoke in a small voice, nervous that the man might get angry at him. He saw a lot of those kinds of people. They got angry for some reason, and took it out on someone lower or smaller than themselves. "You'll make a great artist." He smiled at the red-head, tail wagging behind him. The waitress came back to refill his drink and asked if he was ready to order. "Um..." The young boy looked over the menu, and smiled when his bright eyes reached the dessert section. He found a simple crêpe glazed with chocolate sauce and ordered it, not looking for anything too fancy or expensive. "I'm rarely allowed to eat these things." He murmured back to the man, suddenly feeling lonely if he didn't talk to anyone. "Oh! I'm Atsu. What's your name?" He asked, twisting around in his chair to face the man, holding out his hand. He wondered if that was the polite thing to do in this situation. He saw men do it all the time on the streets, was this what you did when you meet someone new?

"I'm Red Dennis," Red said, shaking Atsu's hand. He then turned towards the waitress. "I'll have another cup of Earl Gray, and a slice of red velvet cake," he said, then turned towards the boy. "So how's your day been?" he asked, lifting his hand up to finger the eyepatch. Red always did that when he was bored or thinking.

Atsu's eyes glanced over at the eye patch, before returning to the ground with a flushed face. It was rude to stare, he'd been taught. He tilted his head at the question. His day? No one asked about it before. "Um...it's been okay. I haven't done anything bad today, so I won't be punished~" He said it simply, like he was discussing the weather, not someone harming him. But that's how it was. Where he lived, it was a usual thing to be beat almost every day. But he smiled up at the man, like it was nothing. "How are you doing?" Rather listening than talking about himself

Atsu's eyes widened before shaking his head vigoriously. "No no, that's alright. I wouldn't want to be rude to you or anything." He was probably annoying his friend with all these questions. Was Red even his friend? Well....to Atsu he was. He scratched behind his ears, suddenly feeling awkward. "Sorry to be a bother." He murmured, quickly eating some of his dessert. "But...um...what did happen?" He asked quietly, sipping at his milk. He didn't want to put Red in a bad spot, but he'd be wondering about it if he didn't find out. "If you tell me, I can show you something." He smiled, thinking maybe it could be a fair trade. "It has to deal with my eyes too." His ears twitched forward eagerly, hoping for a story

I was always the 'problem' child, and got into fights a lot. One day, while fighting with some kids, one of them brought out a knife and tried to stab me in the arm. Somebody smacked his arm up at the last second, and he ended up stabbing me in the eye. I can't see out of it anymore, but I wear the eyepatch because there's a huge scar that's on my eye, and I don't like people staring, but if you want to see it, I can show you." Red took a bite of the cake, then rubbed the eyepatch again.

╔════════════════════════════════════╗Atsu shook his head, staring into his cup of milk. "No, it's alright. I'm sorry for asking." He murmured, ears lowered slightly. He was never subjected to violence with weapons. Well...nothing like being stabbed with a knife. He got other kinds of violence. He frowned, wondering if that was how....he came along. "I have a person living inside me." He murmured, taking another bite out of his dessert, but he wasn't very hungry anymore. "If I'm in trouble, or if he just feels like it, he'll come out. I don't know when he comes, and I don't remember anything he does, but he knows what I'm doing. I talk to him sometimes. He doesn't talk back much, but sometimes it's just nice for someone listening to you. Some people claim I'm crazy, but I know what I'm talking about." He looked over at Red, his ears still lowered slightly. "You don't think I'm crazy, do you? I could show you." He placed his hand over his left eye, closing the other eye as he breathed steadily. He suddenly slammed down his glass of milk, causing a few people to stare at him. "Oi. Why's the brat calling me out now?" A new, harsher voice sounded, as the boy's hand fell from his face. He looked over at Red with colder eyes, one blue and one yellow. "He wants me to talk to you, eh? Well, I'm never gonna hear the end of it unless I agree. So go ahead, ask questions like 'who are you' or 'why did this happen'? I get those questions a lot." He looked over at Atsu's dessert, and pushed it away with a disgusted look. "Ugh, I can't stand how he always eat those things. Wonder if they have any liquor. Maybe some wine?" He looked over at the menu, actually contemplated if he could drink in this restaurant.

Atsuki smirked up at Red, surprised he actually wanted some alcohol. "Well then, I guess we should go and head off for the bar, huh?" He laid down enough bills to pay for the other's milk and dessert. "And where we're going, there won't be sweets." He smiled at that, standing up from his seat. He looked over at Red, smiling slightly. An actual smile, but it looked strange with his hard eyes. "I'm Atsuki. I'd like to check out the bar. Maybe with some company?" Was he...hitting on Red? Eh, that was another thought for later. Right now, he just wanted to have fun

Atsuki unconsciously took Red's hand, walking out of the cafe. His yellow eye dulled slightly, his cheeks warming as he smiled. Then his eye flashed bright yellow as the blush vanished, his smile replaced with something like a smirk. He was keeping away Atsu's warm fuzzy feelings. The boy was like sugar coated happy, what Atsuki hated most. Letting go of the taller man's hand, he ran ahead of Red, going towards the bar. "Race ya there!" He called over his shoulder, his tail waving in the air behind him.
[Heh, you're not the only one. Didn't know what to post for Atsuki, so...this is rather weird/random, however you wanna take it]
