I ate at the mess hall at Pope AFB and the food was excellent. I guess it should be, since those poor Air Force guys work SO HARD ALL DAY LONG. I have heard that the best food in the military is served on, believe it or not... Navy submarines. Makes sense, it must be one of the few comforts of home that can be provided to sub guys.

I would hate to be in a sub. In not claustrophobic, but being in such a crammed place for weeks would be so excruciating.
On other news, the guild is booming! ^^
We get new members every day! And if we dont, we get 2 the next day! rofl

Just wondering if anyone could give me tips on how to get some clothes, how to make money and all the basics to get started...Thanks guys
Oh yeah Air Force would be the way to go when it comes to chow, but the navy isnt far behind..I was in Louisiana on hurricane relief duty, and we stayed at Belle Chasse a reserve base, and they fed us very well...the food was great

Hey I need to go to bed here so I can get up early and run. But I would appreciate if anyone who ever experienced Basic Training can post in my topic "Shipping out tomorrow unprepared" with some advice. Thanks. ttyl. Actually any advice or input at all would still be great.
