"How do you figure you would do that?"She asked as she took another sniff of the air once they were surrounded by bamboo. She picked up old and new sent of the tribe. She decided to rub herself against a couple pieces of bamboo in case anyone came by and thought she was an intruder.

Shai moved slowly, seemingly tense. He was an intruder, unlike her. He didn't belong here. His friendly personality had shifted into a serious persona, eyes glancing about. He was a fighter by heart, a runner by nature, and wary by experience. He glanced at Shinya, laughing under his breath.
"I'm a hunter in my tribe, but haven't dusted off my skills in awhile. It's just my luck to fall face first in front of such a pretty fox."

Shinya laughed. "Yes you did fall flat didnt you?" she smiled kindly at him. But she could see that he was really tense. That wont do~ she thought. She than moved next to him and marked him with her scent. "You should be fine dont worry ok? I really dont think we will run into anyone and if we do it will more than likely be my uncle. Grumpy and mean as he is he does like to fight but I'm his favorite and only niece i'm sure i can purswad(sp) him not to."She said while rubbing more against him "But to make you feel better I'll give you some of my scent so it will be harder for them.

Shai yipped when she rubbed against him, staring at her in bewilderment. Bold little thing, wasn't she? He allowed the contact, nudging her when she had finished as a thank you, smirking. "Thank you. I'm a fast runner though, I'm sure if he attacked I could run for my life." He paused, tilting his head at her. She had extensive family? He only had siblings, his parents gone and dead, and his aunts and uncles were non-existant. Both parents were part of a single litter.

"That maybe true but do you really want to chance it?"She asked than continued into the lands letting him follow if he wanted or not.

Shai shrugged. He didn't care to fight with anyone, or run for that matter. Right now, he was more interested in exploring. Shinya seemed to be moving forward, and he followed with hesitation. The male didn't say anything, instead admiring Shinya's coat. She had a unique pelt, one he appreciated. She was a attractive vixen, to say the least.

Shinya spotted a rabbit den about 3 yards in front of them. She crept up on it keeping low to the ground. When she made it to the entrance she began to dig a little around the edge making it wider.

Shai moved to the right, noticing that if a rabbit fled it would escape that way. She seemed to know the basics of hunting, and he was impressed. Many could not hunt to save their life. He waited for her, eyeing the vixen.

She dug more into the ground till she was able to squeeze just a little inside. After she had down that she let out a load bark that would scare the rabbits right out of the den. She could hear them rustling inside than started heading right for her face. She quickly pulled her head out just as one popped out.

Shai laughed at the image of her jerking away as a rabbit flew almost in her face. She was lucky, rabbits could kick rather viciously, she would have been in a world of hurt if the rabbit had decided to kick her face. The male seemed calm, not even moving a paw, watching to see if the prey would come his way. Rabbits were easy prey, much to easy for a hunter of his caliber.

Shinya snarled at the rabbit and lunged at it snapping her teeth at its back paws. She forced it to move toward Shai. She stayed behind it figuring that they could box it in.

Shai sprung in front of the rabbit as it neared him, sending the creature back to Shinya. She seemed to want to box the creature in, so he wouldn't off the rabbit. Anyways, he was having fun. Killing the thing meant she would move on.

Shinya laughed in joy. She was having fun. She gave Shai a happy smile and than growled at the rabbit. Knowing she was playing with it and she was taught not to play with her food.

Shai batted the poor rabbit about, sending it to Shinya once more. His tail wagged several times at the game, enjoying this little cat and mouse adventure. Shinya actually looked cute when she was laughing...

Shinya pounced at the rabbit and accidentally landed on it killing it. She looked sad "I'm sorry i killed him."
