Michael spotted the Island before it could be seen clearly without a scope. He shot up, grabbing his sniper rifle and his M4 from the deck and slinging them across his shoulders. He ran to Hyatos bunk and shouted, "Sir, land mass ahead, 4 miles, ETA 30 minutes!!!"

Longshot climbed up into the crows nest as the boat drew closer and looked through his sniper scope, he saw nothing but a sandy beachhead the led to a jungle. He pressed his index finger against the small radio on his ear and said, "Look's clear from here, Sir. Say the word once we hit land and I'll find a good hide to provide cover." He brought his M40A1 down and slid down the ladder to stand next to Hyato. "I got a bad feeling about this.", he thought to himself as they drew all the more closer. Longshot pushed his M40A1 behind his shoulder and brought his M4 to his side. He pulled the charging handle back and slid it forward, the M4 producing a loud clank as a 7.62 MM Full metal jacket round slid from the mag into the chamber. "Let's do this quick and clean sir?", he asked as he turned his head towards Hyato.

Longshot took the transmitter and put it in his vest pocket. He did the same with the map and pulled his M40A1 back forward. "Sir, I'm a recon specialist. Do you want me to scout ahead and see if there is anything nearby?" he asked his new commanding officer, anxious to prove himself

Longshot nodded. "Yes Sir!" he said to Hyato before jumping off the boat and into the sand. He ran to the treeline and burst through the bushes, anxious for anything. He slowed down to a near crawling speed as he got deeper into the forest. "3 miles." he whispered to himself as a village came into view. Longshot pressed his index finger to his ear piece and whispered "Sir three miles in there is a small village. I'm currently looking at it now and... there's nothing going on. No people, no animals"

Longshot layed down on his stomache, looking through his scope at the village. He saw someone walk out of a hut, this human was covered in blood from head to toe and held a crude machete taht was covered in blood. "What the hell?" he thought as he kept his focus on the human.

"One Bi-pedal lifeform. Height Six-foot 3 inches tall. Weight 215 lbs. Male. He's covered in blood and is armed." Longshot replied quietly. "There's more....." he whispered. Longshot kept his eyes open as more of the villagers began to walk out of the huts. They were carrying weapons, spears knives and crude swords. "They're all armed, sir." he whispered horrified as the blood soaked battalion of villagers began to come towards their position. "We may have contacts sir."
