Moments passed like minutes, most everyone in the was distracted by the creature that had now pulled it upper torso through. Only a couple who saw the two fools blunder through the gate stood and watched and waited. Russell popped out first, or at least his head did, taking a large gulp of air then a moment. He glanced at the two onlookers, "Don't worry about us, we're... er... proffesionals" He gave them a small wink then vanished back through the gate.

((I was going to be lazy and not actualy add another world, lol. I am RPing btw, but I'm doing chores at the same time so it may be intermitent... If that's the right word, lol))

Russell looked around at the bleak and empty landscape, then up at the creature, it was burried half deep into a tearthat seemed to erupt from the sky, it's back legs where scrabbeling deperatly. Russell smiled, "Sorry Oni, another boring one, I'll still need your help though" He looked at her.

"Funny you should say that, I need a lift" He raised his arms, "I want you to put me up on its back" Russell could see that it had large tufts of fur, easy enough to climb. "Then meet me on the far side"

As Russell hung, susspended above the creature he focused, if he could mount a moving dragon as an old man then this should be a peice of cake as a youngen. "Ok Oni, let me go" He commanded, bracing himself for the drop, focussing on a large outcrop of fur behind the creatures armpit.

Russell crashed into the side of the creature bouncing against its rubbery hid he grasped its pelt firmly. As hair slipped through his fngers he slid downwards but was able to regain his ballance. "Ok," he uttered to himself and began to slowly climb, wrapping the long hair around his hand as he went. The climb was difficult with no foot holds and the creatures constant movemnt but he was soon sitting astried its bumpy spine, as he began to climb it moving towards the rift he signaled for Oni to go through and meet him on the other side.

As Russell climbed through he took a moment to breath, what ever was between the warp gate and the tare was muggy and smoky, still he was back now. He looked up at Oni, "Tricky one for you, I want you to protect the creatures face as well, don't let them harm it" He then turned and climbed up onto the top of the warp gate, he'd never stood this high before, he looked down at the crowd and it was pandemonium, it would do no good telling them to stop. Laying down he looked along the inside edge of the two warp gate rings, there was about enough gap to fit his hand in. Sparks of energy shot between the two rings as the gate tried to pull the creature into this world, he needed something shiney. "Something shiney..." Checking his pockets he realised he had left almost everything at the tavern, he sighed then looked at his sword. Allowing the frost to melt he was met with a clean silver edge, "Perfect"

Russell sheithed the blade between the two rings and was dismayed when it sparked magicaly but did little else. He followed the edge around and down to the floor and sighed deeply, climbing down onto the monsters head. "I've got to take the quick way down" He said, his voice a little dry, "I'm going to try and jump start the ring, it'll start spinning and where you are you'll be safe so don't panic, but..." And there was a long pause, "You still have to get away from the gate before the creature's pulled back through, it won't be long, you'll have a thirty seconds or so but enough to compose yourself... Ok?"
