Had Sliabh known what the younger male was thinking, he could easily have reassured him. Some knowledge of rivercraft was far more preferable to none, which was what Sliabh had currently.. seeing as he rarely needed to fish nor had the time for it back home, he relied on the hunters to furnish him with enough food around what little hunting he could do himself between his guard duties and looking after his small, but precious family. But as it was he was no mind reader and his seer ability was dormant for the evening.

The large lion dipped his head, curling his foreleg against his chest into more comfortable position a she replied. "Tomorrow would be good, I am simply grateful you would consider it at all." Resting his chin along the ground he looked back up at the youth. "Aye.. it is a quest given to me by our Queen... I do it for the pride so... I guess its one and the same. My pride is my life."

As the evening wore on and dusk blanketed the land, drifting quietly into night, the two males talked of family and duty, and fish. Eventually, they did catch a small gazelle that came to drink close to their patch of the river ban, and eventually, the pair settled down to sleep and await the morning dawn and the fish to come.
