"the shell doesn't look tasty" she explained to the bronze. She tried a bit longer then decided that it wasnt worth the effort to try and removed the meant, and instead popped the shell into her mouth, slowly chewing, the crunch rather audible as she tested this new food out.
F'ren wiped a tear of laughter away before answering the older rider. "it's as if I'M the one with a Dragon memory, she can remember dragons, but their riders, she asks their dragons first, then tells me" he said.

The shell isn't for the taste. Really, she should just believe him already! And at last, she finally settled down and ate the thing. See? It's good.
Set'al laughed. "As long as one of you remembers! What would we do without our better halves to keep us in line, eh?"

Toulonth had to agree with pipith, it did taste rather good. It would take a great many of these to equal our usual meals she commented, searching for another.
Zeren nodded, "That she does, i'm glad of it sometimes and i'm getting better at remembering" he replied, thinking back to that day he first flew on Toulonth, and how muddled up he had got with the leathers. "better halves is right" he laughed.

Pipith nodded in a agreement before also ducking back under the water for another bite. It would be nice if they were bigger. Then we could really eat them, not just as little snacks.
"Pip does his best to keep me focused." The bronzerider watched his dragon fondly while he went diving for more crustraceans. "I think I'm getting a little better."

Toulonth searched for another, and was about to reach one when the bronze grabbed it, she didn't mind since he was a Bronze after all. She searched for more but couldn't find any, she wasn't hungry anyway but they had been quite tasty. "next time we will find bigger ones" she said to Pipith, her tone a happy rumble.
F'ren nodded "They certainly take up a lot of our time, but it's worth every second." he smiled, looking over at his Green.
