Aegle looked at the ground her paw playing at the dirt that was there. "You didn't sound like you wanted them."she spoke softly trying to make sure her mate didn't see the semi-hurt look on her face. She already had 3 kids that were now adults and he had liked them but that didn't necessarily mean he was ready for his own. It had meant that he would accept them to have her.

"You just took me by surprise, that's all," Leo assured his mate, giving her shoulder a lick and nuzzling her. "I'm gonna be a dad. Me. Aegle can you believe it?" Leo chuckled, realizing how odd he must have sounded. While he loved Akela as much as his own these kits would be his and Aegle's! His very first children.

Aegle closed her eyes taking in the soft touches Leo was giving her. It felt nice and it reassured her a little bit. "Yes your going to be a dad,"She spoke softly "Why wouldn't I believe it?" she asked sitting down again.

Leo chuckled softly, lightly nudging his nose against the side of his mate's face before nuzzling her neck again. "You bring a lot of firsts for me, my love. First love, mate, mother of my children. You bring light into my life."

Aegle shivered at the nuzzle her tail swishing back and forth behind her. "And you are for me to love."She said pressing her head against his. She sighed in content. This had gone a lot better than it was starting to turn out at first. "Now what would we like to do?"

Leopold sighed and pulled back. "I will have to speak of this to my Elder. I do not know if your presence will help or not. Ecthelion is not unreasonable, but he may feel I have hidden this from him. If you could stay in the area perhaps, give birth around here. That way I will be closer, and if Ecthelion desires to meet you himself I will be able to find you."
There was worry in his purple eyes, and a crease in his brow. He worked to relax his face. "But there, why worry about what hasn't happened yet. How about we walk, perhaps see if we can find a suitable place for a den?"

Aegle cast her gaze downward and pushed her head under Leo's rubbing them together. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to possible cause trouble Leo." Her voice starting to fill with worry that she may have just messed everything up. Aegle nodded to his suggestion of a den and living around this area for awhile. It would be good and there would be plenty of food around that way she could make sure the kids were kept feed.

Leo hummed soothingly. "Don't be sorry. We would have had to face this eventually, now's as good a time as any." Leo set a slow pace as through the field, not wanting to stress Aegle's body.

Aegle walked next to Leo keeping an easy pace with him. Their sides brushing every once in awhile. Her gaze scanned the surrounding area. When a thought came to her. "Can it be somewhere where there are flowers that can hide the kids if something comes after them and they can play in?" She asked.

"I'm sure were can find something. Flower fields seem to love the land outside the Omaticaya clan. If this one doesn't work we can probably find another promising field," Leo responded, smiling encouragingly.

Aegle's face lighted up in a huge smile her tail wagging behind her. She let out a soft "Yay" in excitement and bounded four bounds forward. Her left back paw had missed the ground and went into a hidden hole making her yelp in shock and scrambled to get out.

Leo was at her side in an instant. "Aegle, are you alright? You didn't sprain anything or land too hard on your stomach, did you?" It was clear the green male was flustered and out of his depth. He hovered next to his mate, unsure if he should offer his assistance or if that would only make things worse.

Aegle shook her head. "No I'm fine. My foot is just a little stuck but the kids are fine," she assured him while trying to pull her foot out of the whole. She seriously felt stupid right than and there.

"Do you need help getting your foot unstuck," Leo asked. The hole didn't seem that bad, but it was hard to tell just by looking at the surface sometimes. He didn't want Aegle to put too much strain on her body by trying to get free.

"Um.... maybe a little help would be nice,"Aegle said tugging a bit more. She blushed and smiled up at Leo. "Yeah some help would be nice"
