"I grin a LOT dude, here I thought my awesome smile was one of the reasons you liked me!"
Rubbing his arms seemed to help, and at least he was past the whole teeth chattering thing. He signaled to he other to wait a moment, and crossed the room to the phone. One phone call later and the pair was checked out, the room key tossed onto the bed.
"Alright, let's go!"
And then the door was opened and Zee found himself quickly ushered outside with Demy right on his heels.

"Next time...wait till the water warms up again, god..." He shook his head and lead the way out of the hotel trying to look as much like they hadn't done anything as possible...
he could swear everyone was staring, everyone, you couldn't see the hicky, right? He adjusted the scarf and then felt a small twinge of guilt, knowing that Dem was cold.
"You want the scarf back?" He demanded his cheeks heating again.

"I was trying to hurry so -you- didn't die of embarrassment. Cold-water shower was not awesome man..mmrph."
He walked alongside Zac, occasionally shivering but mostly just rubbing at his own arms. Despite being cold he was still grinning away. Really it was going to be hard to get him to stop today.
"Nah, keep the scarf, I'm okay!"
For a moment he walked along in silence. But soon enough this amazing idea came to him and he just had to share.
"Zeeeeee! I have an idea, to help me study! How about you give me some random topic or something to study, annnnd I'll research it and study and do notes and everything, and then next time we meet up you can popquiz me about it? That'll show I'm studying! And it'd be kinda fun, -especially- if I can pass your test..."

Zac stopped dead at the thought and you could almost see the wheels turning behind his eyes as he thought on that. Then he nodded sharply.
"...Alright... but you'll need to include math in that list." He said firmly. "You are not getting away with just history and explosions!"
He started walking again going over topics in his mind.
"Alright... two part research. I want you to research the civil war,I want to know the politics from both sides, and extra credit if you find battle plan information and study why each battle was won or lost!" He said sounding satisfied with his choice. In truth that gained HIM just as much as he hoped Schee would learn from it.

Well he could just keep going on and on and on in that department. Maybe if he was really good and did his 'homework' Zee would reward him by giving him that as a topic once. That'd be pretty cool!
He did, however, groan out loud at the idea of studying math. Ughhhh.
Civil War was an okay start off topic though! He could do this! And Zee even seemed quite pleased by the idea, so that was extra awesome.
"Alright! Can do! Just...do me a favor? No like...letter grades please I can't deal with that. I can deal with being told I need to study more though! Just...no F's. Pleaseeeee..."
A pause.
"...and we should write this down so I don't forget what I'm studying. Got any notecards?"

"Do I have notecards"... Zac said somewhat sarcastically and pulled a small note book from his pocket, one of the chintzy ones from drugstores with cute photos and a flip top meant for storing fast notes.
He jotted down the topic and tore it out and handed it over.
"You get to research the topic till I feel satisfied you understand the material, I'll test you at random to see how well you RETAIN that information...that will include any time I am with you SPARRING or in a Fight so long as I don't think it will be too detrimental... that's what you get for leaving a -note- rather than telling me in person."
He flashed a smirk and didn't seem -really- mad about it but he was the 'lord of small revenges'

The blonde carefully folded up his research topic and tucked it in a pocket. There was no way he was going to lose that card, he -had- to research it to make Zee proud. That was enough to make sure he held onto it.
"No...questioning me while fighting a Senshi right? It'd be embarrassing to get my a** kicked cause I'm trying to remember the name and date of some battle or something."
Demy gave a snicker at that thought. It would be -kind- of funny...
"Well if that's all the revenge I get..that isn't so bad, I guess."

"I Promise nothing, you'll just have to learn to fight well enough that you can answer the question AND electrocute them or punch them in the face...WHICH I argue you still need to work on. Remember, head shots are fantastic for showmanship but put them secondary to torso objectives unless you are -sure- it's your best target...if you need to blind someone we should work together, that's what SMOKE is for.
Now it felt more like old times...

He paused again.
"....But yeahhhh, torso shots are good too. I'll keep that in mind! And and, we can go on a patrol or something sometime yeah? That'd be AWESOME cmon man, who's gonna mess with two captains? Whoever does is going to get their a** kicked it'll be awesome!"
The idea of patrolling with his old partner was so exciting the blonde was all but dancing in place. At least it was helping him stay warm too.
"What are we getting to eat, by the way?"
Yep. Food. Just like old times alright.

"An Eternal Senshi and -their- team might mess with two captains and their teams" He replied on no uncertain terms. "And if you get to predictable with your face punching don't come running to ME when every senshi and their brother knows to fight you with a catcher's mask on." He groused like an old man scolding a whipper snapper.
"Yes...we are getting food... It's amazing your not taller, that food has to go to more than just -energy- hasn't it?" He mused shaking his head. Not that he didn't enjoy that Demy wasn't six foot infinity given the number of tacos he cold pound down in one setting but it was still a marvel. He decided long ago that Scheelite possessed two hollow legs, one to store mexican food, and one to store sugar and caffeinated beverages.

The grin faded just a bit as he imagined fighting a team of Senshi. Errr...yeah, that might not end well. BUT he would practice fighting too! He was going to be a good captain, he was determined.
"The food goes to my amazingly good looks and general awesomeness, duh silly Zee! I dunno, if I get any taller I'll have to go buy all new clothes -and- I already threw away some of my clothes and it was a sad day. I need to go shopping."
The boy bit his lip a bit, moving to draw the hood of his hoodie up over his head.

"I'm... not even getting into that line of conversation." He said shaking his head and making a sharp left to grab the door of one of the restaurants. So it wasn't Taco King, but it still had mexican food and Demy would stop looking like he was turning into a "Dem-sicle"
"Inside..." he said curtly... "Come on, let's get some warm food in you..."

Grateful for the change of direction, Demy quickly scooted inside the restaurant. It was -much- warmer inside, likely a result from all the food cooking in the back. Whatever it was from, the blonde was thankful and quickly let his hood back down. Mmmm, warmth.
"Thanks Zee! ...You sure you're okay with mexican?"
As much as he'd hate to leave the warmth of the restaurant (and the tacos!), it didn't feel right forcing his love of mexican on the other boy. If Zee wanted to go somewhere else he'd trudge back out into the snow for him.

Fortunately it was 'seat yourself' so they could find a table, unfortunately sitting down wasn't the most appealing thing in the world right now.
Double unfortunately there was no way in the world he would EVER admit that, he was already increasingly sure that everyone in the diner knew EXACTLY what they had been up to.

Demy tugged the other boy over to a corner seat. He knew how the other usually felt about being seen together and...well right now he'd probably be even more..'skittish'. Thankfully he had a partner that understood!
Unfortunately for Zee said partner was determined to sit right next to him. Well, he couldn't have -everything- now could he? Once Zee was ushered into the booth (poor Zee, Demy was a bit oblivious to his sitting issues), the blonde plopped down right next to him and grinned.
"So! Whatcha gettin Zee?"
