Scylla could almost crow in satisfaction. Alright, the sneaky little t**t was caught. And kicking. "Give back whatever it was you took from those people!" she demanded, ignoring the wussy squeals from the woman hanging in the air. Anaximander, Anaximander, what the hell. Was that another of those sneaky little nasties?

Scylla spun in a circle, glaring. "You will give it back or we will shake it out of you, do you hear me?!" The tentacle limb that was holding Uranophane dipped threateningly. "I won't have you nasty littel buggers poaching from innocent students, do you hear me?!" She hadn't taken starseeds, she didn't think, but she had done something, and Scylla needed to know.

Now.

With a small pop and the emergence of a new, dark power signature, Scylla's assumptions proved correct: Anaximander was a youma. It was humanoid, and tall, having at least a foot on the senshi, and it rivaled her attack in terms of its bizarreness: Anaximander lacked arms, and only appeared human from the waist-up. Below that it was more than a few feet of biomechanical centipede that clockwork-clicked with every bend of its many bizarre legs.

"Sure, I'll give it back!" Uranophane shouted in response, even as Anaximander wordlessly crept towards Scylla, poised for attack. "Just so long as you give me your sailor crystal in exchange!" She kept on kicking -- each one brought her a little closer to the ground, so she must be able to cut all the way through it eventually.

So, the woman wasn't going to tell her what she wanted in what Scylla deemed a reasonable amount of time. Well, then. Steely purple eyes turned to the youma- for that was what this monstrosity surely was- that was coming inexorably in her direction, and her chin tilted to face the taller beast. Just how did this monster attack, with no arms and that strange lower body?

One of the Kraken's limbs went for it, intent on grabbing the creature and dashing it to the dirt. Smashing it, squashing it, and rlling in the bits and pieces of its biomechanical corpse. Blue blood poured from the limb holding Uranohane like water fallong over the edge of a roof. The limb shook her fiercely, completely intending to addle its violent, struggling prey, and then it flung her into the air. the it wilted, not catching her again as she started to come back down. No, instead she kept falling, landing at last when another, new arm caught her by the leg, squeezing the ankle.

The tentacles would have a difficult time getting a good firm grip around Anaximander. Its long body with its many sharp legs, gave it some impressive traction especially across the bumpy, fleshy surface trying to wrap around it, and the suckers kept popping off and leaving angry dark-gray marks on its body as it crawled out of the tentacle's grip time and time again, its needlelike limbs picking away at its flesh all the while.

Getting free from the first tentacle was not a triumphant event for Uranophane, as she found her ankle in the grip of another one a millisecond before she could land on the ground. Now she was splattered in blue cephalopod blood on top of all that snow and dirt, and still ******** upside down -- at least this time it was the end of it around her ankle. She wrapped her hand around and tried to loose herself, figuring that at least she might be able to tear the end off.

Anaximander was becoming slippery with Kraken blood, and Scylla was feeling the drain of it. At least the arms were keeping it busy, and not in her face. Ugh, what a disgusting-looking youma!

"We're going to shake you, lady-man." Scylla informed her. "Whatever your name is. You can tell us what you took, or I will shake you until you tell me!" It hadn't been too long since all of this started, and Scylla was still feeling pretty okay about where this was going to be heading.

As if to follow through on the Senshi's threat, Uranophane was tossed into the air again, jerked upward and then thrown downward brutally by the one leg that had a grip on her, while her arms were approached by another, trying to keep pace with his companion and grip her- unsuccessfully, so far. "Or," Scylla continues, undaunted by the fact Anaximander was free again, coming toward her, "I can just stretch you out like someone on the rack." Well, she probably couldn't, but the threat never hurt.

Arrgh, this tentacle-thing was relentless! Every time she was able to hack one apart, all that accomplished was for another, intact one to take its place -- and each time that happened, she was violently tossed into the air. From her vantage point, and all the blood splattered over her goggles, it was impossible to tell how many were left or how Anaximander was doing. All she could tell is that he was still alive, judging by his power signature still being present.

Uranophane had bitten off more than she could chew. And she liked calamari, god dammit.

That in mind, she had no way of telling how much danger she was in, or how much of Scylla's threats were pure bluff. One tentacle was wrapped around her legs again, and she could definitely feel yet another brushing threateningly against her wrists as the senshi talked -- that was more than enough to indicate to her that she should get the hell out of there.

"Anaximander!" she barked, first. "This isn't worth our goddamn time, you're dismissed." That was a painful thing to say, but even if she'd lost against this senshi, at the very least she wouldn't be going home empty-handed. A good stock of energy for the Negaverse was far better than the nothing she felt she'd be getting if she stuck around for any longer. Upon her command, the strange youma had rippled out of existence, presumably back to the dark hole from which it crawled out of.

"Don't think this is over yet, cockroach," Uranophane growled, and in the blink of an eye she was gone too.

She was getting somewhere, right? Right? She moved towards the limb that was jostling her enemy in the air, and it let the Negaverser fall towards the ground, towards Scylla. She would find out that this person had stolen, and she would make it right. She still had the time... Anaximander, the Negaverser cried, and the power of the youma vanished. Oh, thank goodness. Further proof that surely, surely this opponent was going to cave in.

Until her limbs were empty. Scylla screamed, an outraged, infuriated sound. No! she couldn't- ********, the Repressed b***h had teleported away from her! She had escaped, and taken her victory along with her. Whatever she had taken from the people crumpled around the campus was gone, and Scylla was left alone in the cold. She'd forgotten about this little trick.

A slash of her hand dismissed the Kraken, limbs bruised and bleeding, leaving behind only the thick white coat of blood. It was the first time she'd encountered a negaverser and failed to help their prey. She'd gotten on an ego trip, and played with the enemy. If these people... Purple eyes looked around and her expression set stubbornly. Self-reproach later. For now, she would need to get them someplace warm. Lying in the snow wasn't good for anyone.

Her boots crunched against the icy flakes, and she bent to lift the first person up. That classroom over there might be empty, and it would be a shelter for all of them.
