you would get hit for 9 since your defense was only at 7 thus your health would drop to 0 ...but your attack would still be good. So I will roll 1 dice to see if I can fend off your 7.)

your attack was 7. My defense was 5 thus I drop to 0 as well tie.

I think both ways are good....but when health drops to zero, do you die or just lose?

Just lose depending on where you are. More info on that in the battle system Dice part, near the bottom.
If your sparring after each spar you lose 5 health points. That is so people don't try to level up all the way in one day. Bodies have to rest and heal even from sparring...and need food and stuff ><

(defense ended up being 4 your attack was 8. I get hit with 8 Health drops to 0
but my attack still stands. sending 9 at you. All you have to do is roll 1 dice to see if you can fend it off)
