The whole idea of affirmative action is ridiculous. I am a minority and I DO find it insulting. I don''t need the government to interfer in a social issue when it should work out the political issues. Affirmative action was needed in the 60''s and 70''s, but it is not needed now. THe longer we keep that system aive the more it will hurt the minorites which everyday are becoming increasingly un-minority. The system of affirmative action creates another discriminaton, precisely what it was created to stop. It is wrong and should be discontinued, but after the supreme court case a few years ago, who has the money to challenge it again and so soon? Granted that it should be disabled as soon as possible.

Well what about when the minorities become the majority? What defines "minority"? Will white kids get affirmative action once they become the minority? Could a minority be canadians that immigrated to the US. Or is the "minority" poor people in general? So if you call a race a minority are you calling them all poor?

It's just so hard to define the "minority" anyways.

Of course not, whites will never become dangerous minorities, with their glocks, and their slang, and their gang raping, and their rap, and their punk rock!
