"Sorry, then, wolf-Cali-I-whatsyourname, you're out of luck here."
Some tension could be heard in her voice, as she was always questioning that wolf's motives. When she was in humanoid form, Cali was one of Yumi's best friends, but that never changed the fact that Yumi always felt the need to be wary.
"By the way, Kokutan, if you run into Mwee, can you give him this? It's from Arum..." She held up an envelope to give to the panther.
Little did anyone know, the oni was actually trafficking the youkai hunter in her own dorm room, still recovering from when his soul nearly split in half: his youkai and human natures dviding at the seams.
She waited for the likely question from Rebecca as to who this "Arum" was.

Rebecca's eyes furrowed slightly as she thought about everything. She found herself in a rather... odd situation. Strange people. A place she didn't belong.
"I guess I don't need to even ask, but if you don't want to say anything I understand." Rebecca said in a rather calm voice. Her arms dropped to her sides rather casually as she tilted her head to the side. She felt as if something.... Secret was caused by this woman. Rebecca had a feint on her face. These people... Were surely interesting.

Yumi shot Rebecca an apologetic glance. "Sorry, a lot goes on here, if you didn't already notice. It's hard keeping up with all of the drama. Uh, as for who Arum was, well..."
She thoughtfully looked up, trying to figure out how to describe him. Their relationship was rather odd, after all. Though she knew he was the enemy (a good deal of the time, believe it or not), she couldn't help but have feelings for him...
"He's a youkai hunter. He never said what rank he is, but he's a formidable opponent... His ability is to manipulate Life, but his powers aren't totally god-like, because he's a half-youkai... The more he trains, the closer he gets to his original power, before that aspect of him was ripped in half."
She figured it was enough of an explanation. Maybe, unlike some of the other students, Rebbeca would realize that staying away from him was probably a good idea.
