Marika gave a light chuckle at Hania's words. It was just one of those "easier said than done" type of situations. It is is easy to say others should get to know her, and she wished it to be true, but by now she knew better than that. While it saddened her than so many ran off, it just made those who did stick by her side all the more special to her.
"I suppose it is as someone once said, "People don't trust and are scared of what they do not understand." They do not understand our situations, and are not willing to understand it because they are different from what they usually know. So they just brush us off, label us and run off scared, because I suppose fear is the only answer they know."
Upon hearing of Hania's sister, she frowned while watching a rabbit scampered by. She could not understand why families would allow themselves to break apart for such trivial reasons, especially with a situation like his own.
"I am sorry to hear that. I would think with you two being the only family you know that she would not push you away for such a reason. I know some have their own belief in love and whom someone should love, but sometimes it can't be helped. At least you are happy with your mate, right? That is all that should matter. Hopefully your sister will find her own way, even if it is too late. Maybe once she has her run through with all her stallions, and find that she is now left alone, maybe then she will see the fault in her choices. I just hope that her children aren't hurt in the process. To be born and watch your mother run through stallion after stallion with no end, it must be a hard thing to watch..."
