Vergil scoffed at her tone of voice and ran his fingers through his hair and fixed it. "Paranoid." He said it in a questioning tone. "I'm not paranoid Raide glaring at me every second just makes me annoyed." He said then sighed. He then showed Mercury the seal on his arm. "I need you to break this seal."

"Unusually annoyed, is paranoid my Lord," Mercury Took his arm gently in her hands examining the seal, "What was the nature of it's placement?" Really she hated it when the problem poised her was of a magical nature. Having little to no magic herself, it was difficult to tell when the complexities of a barrier were set in the arcane. "If it is as simple as a physical or mental Seal it should be child's-play to break it...If it's magical I'll have to resort to more...primitive methods." She kept objects with magical properties in a cabinet specially made for the purpose. They were few a far between, and difficult to replace. Mankind and the advancement of their wonderful technology had unfortunately destroyed most of the more magical creatures from which she harvested her ingredients.

Raide's eyes flashed momentarily before the laptop clattered to the ground and the small woman was on her feet, fists clenched. She took two steps before she got a hold of herself and stopped. Through clenched teeth she growled, "Respectfully request permission to stomp your face in... My lord," she added, a forced smile that looked more like a sneer than a heartfelt grin.

Mercury turned from Vergil, trying to hide her own wicked smirk. "Raide behave yourself." her tone was mock-serious And she stood to calm her friend, "Poor Raide, did someone break your game?" She linked her arm in the older vampire's turning her away from the vampire lord. Once upon a time Raide would have unquestioningly submitted to the clan-leader. But age had given her confidence and spite. "Can you pretty please prepare an operating table for me? We'll have a guest as soon as Coux-Joe comes back and I'll need everything ready." She turned back to Vergil "And you behave yourself too, Mister. I don't need you setting my girl on edge." She shook an admonishing finger at the vampire lord.

Raide had almost taken him up on his offer. He was lucky she had Mercury to keep her out of trouble. Grudgingly, she stalked off, grabbed some disinfectant from a cabinet and stomped off to a side room to clean off the main operating table.

Few people understood why the older vampire listened to the younger. They looked like an odd team, each being almost everything the other wasn't. Raide was rash, Mercury was calculating. Raide was brutal, Mercury was cunning, though still vicious in her own right. Then there was the obvious height and bust differences... But who cares about those, anyway?

Vergil sighed and said in a light tone. "Alchemy is some what strong by those who have mastered it." He said in a light dark tone then said. "The user sacrificed her self to put the seal on it. It is sealing my evil intent. A five pronged seal was used." He said sighing.

Vergil looked over at Mercury and said. "It seems she needs to learn to keep quiet after all speaking out of turn can cause trouble." He said before flashing his fangs. He walked over towards Raide and snapped his fingers came out a more advanced model then she had before. "Mock me one more time." He said setting the computer down on the table. His evil intent slowly came out of the seal making his eyes turn silver and his nails become sharp and prominent. His hands went in to fists as he waited to see if she would really be that idiotic to mock him the person that would die to protect her sister and her. Even if he didn't especially like her but that didn't mean he wouldn't teach her her place. His aura was so vehemently hateful that it was visible the ominous silver radiated around him as he looked in to her eyes.
