Step down a spiral staircase into the deep Basement area. The walls are bleach-white stone, the floors a deep red ceramic tile. There is a second Staircase spiraling counter to the first on the opposite side of the room. The room is large, brightly lit, and cut into sections by a series of light curtains attached to the high ceiling. Operating tables of metal and chrome are bolted into the floor about the room, each subtly different than the next, all equipped with bindings and restraints.
Along one whole wall are a row of Cage-like cells, some are currently empty, others are filled with creatures that may have been human once. The sounds of their soft and pain-filled voices fill the room with a disturbing kind of white noise.
Just opposite of the cells, tools of every kind dating back through the centuries decorate a high wall over a line of glass-cabinets. Medicines and drugs, poisons, multiple natural and unnatural substances, even what looks to be preserved body-parts, fill some cabinets. Others are filled with bio-machinery, jars and vials, petri-dishes and tissue samples of all kinds. An organ deep-freezer stands on either side of the cabinets.
Close to the near staircase is a much-cluttered desk, the only thing in the room not meticulously clean, next to a tall row of bookshelves. It's littered with papers and data-chips and old blood-bags. In the middle of it is buried a computer, it's screen just visible from under the clutter.

Mercury sat at her desk absently watching as the computer ran it's tests the half-empty blood-bag hung loosely by it's straw from between her teeth. She twisted the pivot chair back a forth as the Werewolf under her desk watched her nervously. His mistress was board, he knew and she got very... unpredictable when she was in such a state, turning her attention to finding new and disturbing forms of mischief. The computer beeped it's annoying alert that it had finished running the tests as inconclusive, Mercury groaned her frustration. She was down to her last blood-bag here in the lab, the stuff was stale in her mouth but she had had no time previously to go up for fresh.
But now, she eyed the staircase that led into the bar, chewing at the bag in her mouth. Her subjects were dry, she had done all she could do with them with out contaminating the different experiments. Most of them would die soon and she would record the post-mortem information to be found there. But she needed new test subjects, fresh blood, and hopefully a challenge for her skill.

Raide glanced up from her laptop at Mercury's loud groan with a raise eyebrow. "Whassah matter, we outta AB?" She looked back to the screen, tapping at the keyboard, her mouth twitching a little as loud clanging was heard, and the roar of some creature.

Vergil walked towards Mercury his eyes on the the computer screen. "Inconclusive again." He said then sighed slightly. He then looked towards Mercury. "You look bored Mercury. Allow me to give you a test sense you seem out of place right now." He wrote down a formula. "We need to focus on warfare. I want you to come up with which faction we should attempt to take over first. After all we cant stay content with what we have." This world was cruel it was either be the conqueror or the conquered. He tossed her a bag of blood while he spoke. He then put a flash drive on her desk. "This is considered top secret in nature and is not to be discussed with anyone other then me." The lab was very secure but he had to make sure he stressed the importance. "If the other factions catch are plan before we are able to take over. They will try and form loyalties against us. We have then angels on our side. That makes the mercenaries and the demons are prime targets." He said in thoughtful tone as he considered every option.

Mercury turned to Raide pouting sorrowfully, "I has a bored Ray-ray all my toys are already broken." she pulled at the Blood-bag hanging from her lip and frowned at it. "And all we have left is OB+...common as dirt." She was about to suggest a trip up for some trouble when Vergil came with a challenge for her.
"Aww come now, What's this?" She held up the disk inspecting it. she muttered "You know how I just don't seem to get along with those particular factions anyway..." She didn't much care for angels either but choices, choices.

Vergil smiled deviously and said. "That is the Data Rishi got from spying on the other factions." He frowned lightly as he remembered that the mercenaries were building a weapon. "The mercenaries are building a weapon but the peace keepers are equally annoying. Give me your analysis of the situation." He asked in a formal tone.

Mercury focused on the computer screen inserting the flash drive to view the information. "Looks like a long range weapon from the Mercenaries," she mumbled looking hard at the technician that worked on the weapon, as her computer played out the stolen footage. Did he look familiar? She filed it away for later use and investigation.
She giggled slightly as the information revealed the location of the demon Portal, that was useful, not much to do with it just now but it would be useful later.
She spun in her chair to face her guest once more, "Well, If you want my opinion the Human targets should be easier but then the Mercs have always had a price and could be easily bought. Delightfully greedy humans they," she sung her legs back and forth childishly as she contemplated the problem further "Knowing where the demons hide, is only half the battle, it's bound to be a high security position we'd have to know how to get in, and -more importantly- out, before we try anything there." she tilted her head to one side "Perhaps "asking" one of them would work?" she giggled suggestively before turning back to her computer typing out simulation commands, for a likely plan of action. "Where is the Peace-Keeper information?"

Vergil smirked and said in a light tone. "The peace keepers are annoying idiots. I say we go after one of them. It would allow you to use your gifts." He said smiling evilly Mercury was a spectacular torturer. It was one of the things that kept her alive for so long.

Mercury sighed contentedly, smiling up a Virgil showing her fangs. She leaned back comfortably in her chair musing aloud, "Oh I have been needing a new toy lately..." she toyed with the back of his hand flirting, "All my old ones are broken... Or just not able to be played with." With a slight motion from her, the large Werewolf under her desk moved out coming to stand next to his mistress. He had several augments along his spine the surface if his skin and in one eye. She petted her bodyguard absently "Coux-Joe is still my best hunter, you name the target, he'll bring it in." the Wolf rumbled deep in his chest, looking attentively at the Vampire leader.

Vergil smiled evilly and said in a dark tone. "Lets go after the peace keeper page. She is with the faction leader but you are under no circumstance to attack him get her while she is alone. " He turned towards Mercury. "This is a good plan if it works we will gain information and if not the peace keepers will blame the wolves. " He said while he analyzed the situation. "We exist outside of there pitiful laws."

Coux-Joe nodded acceptance of the mission "TaRrgeT rRecOgnItiOn PaTteRn rReiQuEstEd." He growled formally, lifting his nose to look straight at the Vampire leader.
Mercury giggled petting back the wolf's tattered ears. "I don't know if they'll recognise this bulk as a wolf but he'll keep quiet about it. You hear Coux-Joe, darkness is your friend, take the target only, do not be seen as mine, none are to follow you. Understood?"

Vergil smirked devilishly and transferred the memory of Pages scent. "Go now and find the girl. Whatever ever you do do don't kill her we need her for information." He looked at Mercury and said. "I need you to perform a experiment for me." He knew she would be fairly shocked to find out what he needed her to do but it was necessary he needed to be rid of this dreadful seal so he could access his murderous intent.

The werewolf's augment eye glowed as he received the imprint of his target, "UnDeRrsoOd." he growled nodding respectfully before standing and walking to the exit intent on picking up the trail of his target.
{Coux-Joe exits to wherever the darn target is...}
Mercury watched the Wolf leave, before looking back to Vergil, "What's the nature of the experiment and whom is it to be upon?" she asked curiously. Thoughtfully intrigued by the preoccupation while she waited for her new toy.

Raide glared over at Vergil when he'd come in, but kept herself quiet while he conversed with Mercury. After watching Coux-Joe go off after the Peace Keeper girl, a loud horn blared from her laptop and she cursed loudly in a language that few living remembered. "Alliance bitches be gankin' me." She scooted down further into her couch and glowered at the screen, typing away.

Vergil looked towards Raide and back towards Mercury. "We should discuss this in private." He didnt trust her in his opinion she was just a annoyance. He said in a light tone. "After all you never know who you can trust these days."
