"Thanks and...ah...I got mine from a cat, Derp, so I don't think so?" His hadn't magically appeared, it'd been given to him, so he didn't think they just came out of nowhere. Except for cats. Cats could whip this stuff out of thin air.
So this really had been his first time...how interesting! Dietrich made a noise of understanding as he watched his friend change back, chuckling at the way he fanned himself after. Awww, was the poor page hot? Poor baby. He could sympathize what with being stuck in his own fuku in any weather..at least he didn't have to fight on a volcano like that. Babylon had lucked out. "What?" Dietrich walked with Finn as he wanted to, though not without giving the pathetically deflated rabbit a good, long look before deeming it safe and normal again. If it was possessed it would be possessed by a different youma, not the same one. The last one had basically been farted out by the rabbit! It was definitely dust.
Dietrich hummed thoughtfully for a few moments. How long had it been? Dietrich couldn't remember! Sure, he remembered the day it happened like it'd happened yesterday, but he didn't remember how long ago that was. "Awhile." He glanced toward his friend beside him as he said this, sighing again. He was hurt, wasn't he? Unlike Dietrich though his hurt was genuine, unnecessary but genuine. "Only my team knows, Finn. This isn't exactly something I can just go around telling people 'Hey guys, so I'm a senshi. You know that group people have been calling terrorists but they're really not? Yeah, I'm one of them. Oh, and I'm basically risking my life anytime I fight someone or something from this group from the Negaverse', you know?" Not that Finn probably knew what the negaverse was but...still. He did know who his sister was, but that was more an accident than anything. He still wasn't quite sure he liked the idea of Tabitha doing this kind of thing, especially after that one night...she'd lucked out on missing that. Good girl.

Finn gave Dietrich a look that said he really didn't know what was going on. "Sorry, what?" He lived in Destiny City - that didn't mean he actually paid any attention to what was going on in it. He was too concerned with rainforest destruction in, say, Belize? Or whalers off the coast of Antarctica. Or where he was going to go hiking next weekend. The point being, he was really No Prior Knowledge on all of this.
"So, basically, you don't want everyone to know you fight evil by moonlight in short-shorts. That's cool by me." He flashed Dietrich a thumbs up, just so he knew his secret was safe. "I mean, if I was fighting evil by moonlight in short-shorts, I wouldn't want anyone to know, either...hey wait."
He looked like he was thinking very intently as they made their way towards the main gate. After a moment, Finn said, "I can't tell anyone about this, can I? This page stuff?"
Aw, man, that meant he couldn't take responsibility for the dead rabbit on the lawn! ...On the other hand, he couldn't be punished for it, either...
Finn grinned with satisfaction for a job well done.

Wow, Finn really needed to watch the news more. What rock did he live under?
...Wait! That was a stupid question.
"In words that won't make me want to punch you in the face, yes." Dietrich laughed, grinning at his friend. "Remember when I said I was attacked by a unicorn?" He was very glad that he'd healed so quickly from that wound. It'd hurt like a b***h. Though he'd ended up being good as new after not even two days! It was great! He gave a nod at Finn's question. "Only if you really, really want to. I wouldn't recommend it unless you know you can absolutely trust that person." Unfortunately Dietrich had a hard time with that unless he knew for certain that person wasn't an enemy. Sigh. "Maybe if you meet another page they'll be better help to you...you can't be the only one." Another glance was cast back toward the fallen rabbit. Sigh. Stupid youma.
Oh, they were leaving! Did this mean they were done? Dietrich blinked. "Not gonna try to inflate the rabbit again?" What about his vision?

"Nah, don't wanna risk it," sighed Finn. "The banner's up..." He glanced back towards the setup and grinned wider. "Actually, I kind of like it like this!" What better way to get people talking about the commercialization of Easter than to kill the Easter Bunny? Finn spread his arms wide and turned back to his friend.
"A great artiste knows his vision is always evolving," he declared. (It was only half likely that this so-called 'great artiste' was going to go home and dance around his bedroom in his underwear to Lady Gaga.)
"Anyways," Finn added, dropping his arms and falling back into step beside Dietrich. "If you don't know any other pages... I guess- am I a trendsetter?" He would love to be a trendsetter. That would be awesome. "Also, I am glad you were lying about the unicorn, because now I can stop being mad at you about it," he added, and slugged his friend in the shoulder just because.

As long as Finn liked it! Dietrich was kind of glad about that, he'd really like to go home and sleep. He laughed as he declared that his vision had evolved into something greater, nodding his head in agreement. "I'm glad!" He really was. Dietrich was tired.
Was Finn a trendsetter? That was a good question. He had a feeling he probably wasn't, but he was at least the first one Dietrich had seen. She shrugged, folding his arms behind his head as they walked. Were there other pages out there? There had been that strange woman dressed in black and glowing blue...the negaverse had seemed surprised and heartbroken to see her, but she wasn't a senshi. But they'd called her something. Lina? He didn't know her. "I think there might be another. Maybe..some woman with blue hair in a black and blue uniform. Real glowy." Was she a page?
Wait, what? Dietrich blinked and just stared at Finn as he forgave him for the unicorn story, barely flinching as he was punched. "You...were mad at me for a completely ridiculous and obviously false story?!" What?! Dietrich laughed, his arms moving to cross over his stomach as he doubled over. He couldn't believe what he was hearing! How stupid! Hahaha! "You're something special, man. We should probably head back home though before we collapse from exhaustion or get caught by a cop coming off campus dressed like burglars." Dietrich draped an arm around Finn's shoulders in a quick hug. "See you later, man. Get home safe, 'kay?"

Completely false and ridiculous? Well, Finn had believed it - the look on his face said so. "Dude, not funny," he pouted, but brightened considerably at the hug. "I'll, uh, I'll text or something," he said awkwardly before heading off in the other direction.
All in all, it had not been a bad night: art, a hug from Dietrich, and he was a superhero?
No, not a bad night at all.
