Caryiln noted the frown and felt bad for asking so many questions. "Have I upset you? I certainly didn't plan on it, if I did." She hung her head just a little and a small curl stole in front of her face. She tossed her head to try and remove the stray hair, but it simply fell back to where it was. She decided that if that's where it wanted to stay, then stay there it could.

Amenophis was in truth a little upset but he didn't want her to know it. He bowed his head and looked at her one more time. "I apologize but I must be leaving." He told her and looked down at the water, he didn't want to see people who upset him. Naturally he was a little unforgiving and it wasn't her fault that it was a sore topic. But still it hurt him just to talk about it and she asked a few questions. He didn't know if he wanted to see this mare again or not, he began to walk away.
Carylin frowned and stood, "I'm sorry to hear that. But you had this spot first, so if you'd rather, I'll leave. It's only fair." She started picking up her hooves and walking back the way she'd come from, stopping before she left the shade of the tree. "I apologize again, if I've said anything hurtful. It really wasn't my intention." Her head hung just a little lower after she started her saunter. Of course she'd botched it. She should have known better than to ask so many dumb questions. But how else does one find out about another? She shook her head as she thought about it.
