"The weight of my promise could crush you!" ~Raedra, I need you.~ ~You didn't even have to say it.~ *As Raedra reentered his body, whisps of fire began to come off of him. They slowly got bigger until it looked as he were on fire.Trent dashed at Sirence, wings thrusting behind him. He was upon Sirence in less then three seconds.* "Karin!" *Trent threw a right hook at Sirences jaw.*

*Karin knew what was happening, and she was a bit jealous. That didn't matter right now, she had to support her big brother. As soon as she felt Raedra leave her, she knew she had to do something, and when Trent dashed for the man, Sirence, she too took action. With her increible agility and speed, she darted up right next to Sirence, grabbing the girl hhe held by the arm and pulling her under Sirence's arm. She had to help somehow.*

As though he were aware of the invisible eye on him, Tiki's hair began to stand up. His ears twitched tensely. Very slowly, deliberately, he began a slow trot to encircle Sirence. All thoughts of loneliness had abandoned him. Trent, the female and the dragon were his pack.
Sirence was the quarry.

((ooc: *Glares at Tiki* What happened to the wrongness of tearing kin from each other?))
Sirence's eyes were locked on Trent as his hand gracefully and lightly clasped his attacker’s fist. Instead of catching the punch and deflecting it with force, Sirence simply guided it in front and past his own face with his right hand. Continuing the momentum and pulling motion, Sirence yanked on Trent’s arm to pull him closer and quickly wrapped his left arm around Trent’s throat, Trent’s back against his chest, the power of Trent’s wings causing a slight gap between them. As he was still a strong friend of fire Sirence wouldn’t allow himself to be caught a flame, not even in his turned state. In this short interaction he had lifted his attention from Sairiel for only a split second and then she was out of his reach. “Sairiel…” He said gruffly in a whispered growl.
Sairiel’s eyes fell closed as she was pulled backward, free of her brother’s cold grasp. She opened them again, looking first to the girl which held her then to the stalking tiki and then to Sirence and Trent. “No…” Sairiel said but found her words had been lost somewhere in the space between them.

((Tiki isn't the pack leader, so he doesn't figure his view matters. He doesn't have the illusion that he's with the good guys, but that doesn't really matter to his primalistic mind. I don't think it would have mattered to his "civilized" mind either; he was a thief, a scavenger and a con artist. And probably quite insane.))
Tiki conitnued to circle, looking for an opening. This was how it worked. The biggest, strongest member of the pack would attack first. The rest would circle, which begged the question of what the heck the female from the cave was doing. If things didn't go well for the alpha-male, the stealthiest one would pounce second, finding the best spot to interpose himself and turn the tide of the battle. If all else failed, the rest of the pack would attack or flee. Tiki knew that their group was small, small enough that if the first two attackers went down, there was little hope for the situation. Best that he not blow his chance and leap too soon...

*Sirence's quick reaction was to be expected, a fighter of such high class could not be so slow. It didn't phase him in the slightest. Trent made his wings dissapate and pushed himself backwards. With the wings gone, there was a gap between him and Sirence, and Trent easily slipped under Sirence left arm, which was previously choking him. As he passed under Sirences arm, Trent brought his right knee up and dug it into Sirences lower back. (Adrenal glands to be specific.)*

((Okay! Fine! I’ll Post!))
Sirence’s knees begged to buckle beneath him but being trained as a high general for thirteen years and then as a close combat bodyguard for the following seven years, he kept on his feet. He instead used Trent’s knee as a center point to hold up his back and flipped backward, at the same time he hooked his left foot behind Trent’s left ankle, lifting it from the ground with his momentum, as he gracefully landed on his own two feet once more. Sirence was not in the mood for a real fight though Trent did seem a great deal stronger, even if it was only in his mind. “Your promise means nothing to me, and here, they see me as important as the Secondary’s children themselves.” Sirence nodded his head back toward the town. On the path ran a young warrior headed for town, he had obviously seen the fight and had gone back for reinforcements.
(The Secondary being Slene, Glenmark and Contay’s mother, Queen/Ruler/Empress of Centre)
(On a side note: I'm not ignoring the 'damage' which has been caused to sirence, but his body is build for seriously delayed pain development)

*Flipping backwards and upside down was a very interesting feeling, but nothing he couldn't handle. He threw his hands down, putting himself into a handstand. As Sirence landed, he swung his body around to the right and pushed off of the ground with his hands, launching himself about 20 feet from Sirence. Trent stood and took his fighting stance again.* "I will not harm civilians just to get what I already have..." *Trent let his wings explode from his shoulders. He flapped them once and took off after Karin.*

“Exactly who do you take me for?” snapped Sirence as he passed through the same portal one might see Glenmark entering, and vanished.
Sairiel started to struggle against Karin, trying to get away. “No. No! Siren! Dameon! He wont find me if I’m not with Siren! No!” Her strength kept fluctuating between her energy pulsing strongly and then suddenly dropping off to nothing and her body becoming nearly limp. But then once again she’d be strong and willful, only a second later. “No! Let me go! Siren!” She started to scream.
As though summoned by his name Sirence stood in Karin’s path all but ten feet away. He was running toward her, his arms stretched in a fashion that was easily separate the two (or atleast that his impression).
((And yes, all powerful turned people can do that stupid walking between space thing but it is very taxing to do it twice so close together))

Tiki leapt after Sirence as he stepped through the portal, and wound up on the ground with a maw full of dirt. Rolling to his feet, he took off after Trent, irritation peaked and feeling rather humiliated. He waited for the right moment, but he must have missed it...

*Trent grabbed teh two girls at the last second and flew upwards. He wouldn't lose either of them again. After all, he had promises to keep.* "If you want her that badly... meet me at the lake! Then you'll find out what I take you for." *Trent gave a hardy flap of his wings and soared upwards and towards the lake. * "My apologies miss Sairiel, for the rough handling. I have a promise to keep to your borther Dameon, and I intend to keep it. You will see him again. For now, I would like you to stay with my sister, Karin. This is the only way that I can help all of the Ember siblings, okay?"

*Karin was so surprised at the speed of things around her that she almost let go of Sairiel when Trent lifted them off the ground. She had never flown before and this was an exhilarating feeling. But that didn't matter now, she had to find a way to comfort Sairiel, so she didn't wriggle out of Trent's arms and fall.* "Um... Miss Sai... Sairiel was it? I'm sorry if your scared, but please trust my big brother! This is the first time in many years I've been able to see him, and I don't want to see him sad..." *She looked up at Trent's determined face. Unmoving, staring into the air space ahead.* "You see..." ((Karin explains her whole situation, with being sealed away in the crypt, to Sairiel.)) "... and that's why I ask of you.... please, please, please, just trust him. I promise you will see your brother again soon." *Karin wiped away the tears that had fallen while telling the story. She hadn't thought about it ((her sealing)) that indepthly yet, and it brought in to focus things she hadn't realized.*

Tiki shook off his frustration quickly, realizing that his pack was departing. Bounding after them, he leapt into a tree and agilely clawed his way from branch to branch. The very top of the tree threatened to snap, but in an instant he was gone into the sky, just inches from Trent's feet...
And he missed, plummeting back towards the canopy. Letting out a yelp of surprise, he grabbed for a stable-looking limb and catapulted himself back at Trent, seeking a higher branch to hurdle from. This time, he came close enough to bite down on Trent's ankle. From there, he scrambled up his cohorts back, trying to balance on his shoulders.

*Trent didn't wince in the slightest at Tiki's biting of his ankle, and the newly added weight was almost as non-existant as the pain. Trent let out a short laugh.* "Good to see you've join us! Tiki, Karin... Sairiel, thank you for your help thus far. I greatly appreciate all that you've done for me, but when we get to the lake, I need all of you to let me fight Sirence on my own. This beyond promises now... he is not in a right frame of mind, and I intend to change that.. for Miss Sairiel's sake. Karin, I would have you watch over Sairiel with all the same adoration you show me. And Tiki... please, protect them. Once this is all done.. I will help you to the best of my abillity." *Trent didn't take his eyes off of his destination once. He, as many would say, "Was on a mission."* [Exit to Mountains]
