Keith blinked out as he was brought out of his little day dream. He looked over at cam as she laughed. He blushed a little. He hadn't intended to react that way. In fact he had been thinking about having kids for a wile now. He just wasnt sure of what Cam would want. He tried to be the loving male and not mention it untill she was sure she wanted kids. Of courese now that she was giggling he couldnt help it ither. He chuckled along with her. "Sorry... I guess i kinda over reacted huh." he smiled at her. "But ive been thinking about kids for some time... Im actually glad u brought it up." He nuzzled her. "I would vary much love to have kits."

Cam smiled and leaned into her mate's nuzzle. "You could have brought it earlier if you'd wanted to start a family," she said, though she supposed it wouldn't have mattered. Modifoxes of all kinds only came into season for short periods, and it was actually difficult to have them. Perhaps a good thing with the size of Modifox litters, or kits would be everywhere. She pulled back and looked at Keith with loving green eyes. "Well. The day grows no younger. Perhaps we should hunt first and talk more over it later?"

"Ah ha..." He laughed nervously as he looked over at her. "I... I suppose your right... I could have said something about it..." He frowned thinking about it. He should have just said something about it. Bother... why was it on some things he was just scared to ask her? Maybe it was because he had been worried she might have said no. He shook his head not wanting to get back into that matter. He smiled back at her as he nuzzled her again. "Ah! Your right." He chuckled. "we should get going... I don't know why or how i always seem to get distracted."

Cam tilted her head in a birdlike fashion and smiled, but didn't say anything 'lest she distract Keith anymore from their hunt. Part of a story-teller's job was to capture and hold the attention of an audience. Keith was also understandably handicapped by virtue of being her mate. It was actually kinda cute that he didn't seem to be able to resist her. Of course it wasn't like Cam could resist Keith either! As it should be, in her mind.

"So..." he chuckled. "Right... We should get back to hunting..." He cleared his throat. "Did we ever talk about what we wanted this morning?" he looked down at her as they continued on their way. He was having a hard time remembering if the had talked about it. You know... After his little adventure down kit lane. "were coming up to a lake... Maybe fish?"

"Fishing sounds nice, actually," Cam said. "We live so close to the ocean you'd think we would include more fish in our diet." She glanced in the direction she knew the ocean to be. "Unfortunately I'm not nearly as skilled at plucking fish out of the ocean as I am trying to scoop them from a lake," she laughed. Not many of the tribe could fish from the ocean, actually. Mostly they just got the occasional bounty of what got washed ashore after a storm.

Keith smiled. "Yeah I feel like some fish myself." He then chuckled at her comment of how they lived close to the ocean but didn't eat much fish. "I know right?" He looked over at her. "You would think we would eat more fish considering were closer... maybe its cause sometimes fish can be a little harder to catch then other prey." He then smirked. "Unless you know the perfect fishing spot... like yours truly." He grinned.

Cam laughed quietly. "Been getting over your fear of the ocean," she asked. When they had first met each fox has a pretty big fright of different kinds of elements. Keith wasn't too hot on oceans, Cam was terrified of thunderstorms. Both had made some progress since then. Cam still really disliked storms, but as long as she was either snuggled under her bedding that smelled like her and Keith or, preferably, with the source of the smell himself, she didn't freeze up in fright anymore.

"As a matter of fact I have!" He smiled proudly. "I have been going out with some of the guys whenever they decide to go fishing." It was true. He had been wanting to get over his fear of the water so he could help with collecting fish whenever they needed it. "I will admit... at first... I didn't want to go anywhere near the water..." He looked away blushing. "But since then, I've gotten better."

Cam lightly nudged Keith's side in an affectionate way. "I had no doubts. You seem to be able to do anything once you set your mind to it." She smiled fondly at the blue male, with a hint of pride. She wasn't deluding herself into thinking her mate was absolutely perfect, but they were perfect for each other.
They'd been walking while they spoke. Now Cam looked around, familiarizing herself with the settings. "Which spot are we heading to, exactly," she asked. There wasn't an overabundance of lakes in their land, but they had a small stream cutting through the land, one that started either somewhere in the mountains and was connected to a lake or started in the lake and was connected to the mountains, that dumped out into the ocean. There were any number of good fishing points along it's length.

Keith smiled as she nudged him. He had thought about where they should go. Most of the lakes were pretty far from the Tribe. Trying to get to them would be a bad idea. The could possibly get attacked on the way and would take to much time to get to them. However... the stram that ran through the land wasn't far off.
"The stream thats up a head... its not far. I know a few good fishing spots up there that we could use." He looked down at her.

"How far are we from the specific spot you have in mind," Cam asked, casting a green eye upward at the clouds. Still blue sky and white puffs. Inwardly she sighed in relief, but didn't quite trust the weather. It was summer, after all, and they lived near an ocean. Rain was a constant companion, and thunderstorms could arrive with amazing speed. Not that she expected a storm, but it would be just like the weather to dump rain on them when they were trying to enjoy a day together.
Cam pushed weather off her mind for now, on the basis that she'd rather not call something to her by thinking about it too much! She tried turning her mind to more pleasant activies that she and Keith could do once they'd fished. Maybe a game of some kind, or just sitting in the sun and having a good chat. They talked regularly enough, but always with some duty or another at the back of their minds it seemed.

"Its just around that path. We should be there in a few." Even now as they walked they would hear the running water. With that He started to think about what he was going to do. He knew of a few good fishing spots. Though it had been a wile since he was there last. Some of the fishing areas could have been taken by water.

Cam nodded trustingly, following along at Keith's heels. It was true that she did go out for walks in the forest a lot. Part of it was something of her job, in a way, seeing the land that went with the stories in her head and marking any changes that might have come about. Some of it was also to help out the tribe, as a scout or gatherer. She wasn't very good as a scout, since by the time she detected an intruder there wasn't much she could do about it, but she did make a nice gatherer on the side.

Keith moved along the path quietly and at a fast pace. The only had so much time to spend together and he wanted to be sure they would be able to spend it wisely. He didn't want to have to be fishing for a wile. That would be a good waste of time... but then again you never know. Fishing could be a gamble. Some times you got something other times you didn't. He was also sure to keep his ears open as well. He didn't want anything or anyone sneaking up on them.
"Ah... here we are." He smiled as they came around the path.
