whiteshadowoftheblackbird um im not sure what to think if its a ghost how is it touching you? maby it like likes you and that why it keeps touching you as for iy hugging you tightly mabey you could ask it to be more gentle when doing such things so it more comfortable for you. um is it being there that makes you uncomfortable or the area your in? and what is the object you cursed suppose to do? why did you chose to do that? like..a carress. gentle as the..essence of it? i read it described perfectly ina book. ill type it for you. Dracula in Love, by Karen Essex. 'Then came hands, no, not exactly hands, but touch - the essence of touch, caressing my face, my neck, my arms, making my skin tingle and awakening something long dormant inside me.' just about exctaly like that. but i doubt i would 'ask' anything, because its hard to talk to some un-named entity or person. kinda awkward lol. i think its both, it and the area. i dont live in the best area, and when i move to certain places a pressure rises, like if go to my basement sometimes, or a place thats been renovated. about the curse,the object was a paper, and it was supposed to cause accidents. it didnt really work. and there can only be one reason why a petty young girl would try a curse. revenge lol i just never tore it up cause it didnt work. :/ and than i forgot about it

The dead are usually those who cared about you in life. It's extremely unlikely they even would be of any harm to you if they could, unless you had some bitter rival who hated you so much their hatred of you would last beyond the grave. That, or you murdered someone who really wants revenge. Those situations aside, realize they likely do not mean any harm, and are either dead loved ones, or they owned the house long before you did.
You're not really in any danger, so if you are absolutely certain it is in fact the dead, you have nothing to worry about. Try asking what they want.
