::She seemed lost in a stupor there as she sat waiting... wondering if the first step she would take on her own two legs would shatter her legs, listening to the Doctor, she was their first example of this...::

::Their 'guinea pig', she gulped in air, but finally, nodded dumbfoundedly, clutching the bill in hand before she'd look back to him:: ...Yes, I'll make sure to let you know...

Thank you again.

::She hesitated again, but quickly managed to utter a 'goodbye' as he would head out::

::She felt ill, physically ill, what may have been paranoia was now a real and possible threat... if she hadn't been weak before, now...::

::She felt a nudge at her arm... and looked to the Purrloin there nudging her...::

::Claudandas sat on his hindquarters and looked up at her:: [You're well just now.]

::He and many other creatures of the forest had thought her strange, something off about her... and now of course he knew, one of the reasons indeed, in the wild, creatures like her would have been slaughtered, but here, in the human world, somehow she clung on:

::And no matter how frail her body, she still had a burning heart, that, no Doctor could ever take away, while he could not vocalise this to her, he could only hope standing aside her was as good for now::

::The girl stroked over his head, Jasmine sat for a good little while, before finally, she'd rise, shaky at first, but step by step, she moved forward, before pulling her stockings over the bandages, tightening clothes and smartening herself to grab the amber:: ...I want to go back to Beginning Island.

[What?] ::Claudandas turned at her in disbelief::

I think I messed up... I think I should return, and help you guys get stronger before they make us do something really big... if I can't help you any more, I don't want to leave you and Lindberg vulnerable out there.

::Although... if she asked, she'd likely be in trouble for asking she imagined... but as she looked at the Amber, she was minus any healing items, only one pokéball on her and now, no idea what to do next...::

..We'll speak to my Professor... and hope I can speak my case, somehow.

Maybe this item she promised will be something we can use to help us.

::She stood there, unaided, for the first time in what felt forever, drawing her now dry poncho over her, she took the crutch, almost out of habit than anything else, as Claudandas would leap to her shoulder::

::She looked outside, to the sun in the high, dry sky, and nodded, ready, before she stepped out... it was time to face the music::

A while ago, she'd came here, she had found a Skarmory's skeleton, and trained Lindbergh to recognise her as a trainer.

A while after, she'd came back, a broken mess to be patched up.

This time, she came with a pokémon in an egg, and she had a feeling there was no Doctor who could fix the hurt she was feeling right now.

Not even useful as a grunt to the nurse, she didn't blame her in her mindframe right now, but she sighed slowly, working her way onward as a crutch would test the ground each time, and then, only after so long, her cloak trailing whipping behind, she would find the shaded place between the valleys where her home lay hidden.

Only there past the Skarmory's grave and her silver cross would she find the small wooden hut erected there.

She wanted to cry, she wanted to throw herself in bed and lie there...

But she had responsibilities.

She wasn't a girl in the orphanage any more who had that luxury to find a corner and hide.

She had her pokémon to watch over... and that meant one thing as well.

Finding out now, what exactly she had caught from Spiritomb's lair...

With some small trepidation, she took the ball Gengar had stopped her opening before Savvy, looked up and at the open entrance to the valley, then whipped the ball in the air, "Come on out, whoever you are?"

Though what exploded from the pokeball would be something that would take over the corner of her territory and expand onwards. For this wasn't a pokemon but an actually place ...as it would seem that she had captured land.

Secret area: Spirit graveyard, is an island graveyard that seem to house may a spirit, but now lay barren and cold. In the midst of it was the ruins that seem to have the strongest aura of ghost and darkness. This is the spirit graveyard where those of the normal and psychic type found to be terribly uncomfortable of a place to live.

It is here those of ghost and darkness found themselves at peace.

Pokemon Storage:0/3

(All pokemon store her gains 3 exp unless they are of the dark or ghost type whom will gain 1/5 experience of the battle. Also, any pokemon of the normal and psychic type will 1/5 of their hp if stored here.)

Jasmine would blink as she took the pokéball and tried to check that she wasn't hallucinating...

She had expanded her land... And now, as water encircled the small island, she would step forward, from rock to rock...

She looked around, almost terrified in a moment a Spiritomb would tear out of it in vengeance, then about turned and looked at the barren wastes behind her, the comparison was unbelievable!

She couldn't quite understand it... but understand it or not, it at least made things easier for her.

Any types who didn't like the other terrain... well... she'd see that later she supposed.

For now, she'd sigh and hop her way across the rocks, nearly slipping in when her braces locked up and she cursed under her breath.

She had a trip to do tomorrow... but she had two eggs to see to, and Nightingale and Burnout, both whom were owed explanations.

Unless she could find something else to do, she'd likely check back at the market and then curl up in bed... but for now, she'd walk back, past the Skarmory's grave once more... then stopped.

She looked back at the graveyard, then at the Skarmory's spot... it was a grim prospect, but at least now she had a place to bury it in peace.

And as she headed inside, she would prepare to see to her team, not even noticing as she closed the door of the hut, that outside, wherever she had stepped, greenery was now beginning to work its way through the cracks of the hostile valley...

Jasmine's crutch hit the floor. Then the rest of ehr would hit the bed thankfully instead, getting the two mixed around would certainly have been a bad way to end the day.

So instead, she just lay there a moment... and looked at her assembled collection, biting her lip again as she let her body sink on the covers...

She peered at the table next to the bed, there lay Cheza's cloak, wrapped warmly around the two eggs within.

And next to her, hanging from the bedpost, Regal's watch.

She sighed, pulling out the Regimental necklace around her neck, and contemplated taking that off as well, but instead tucked it back under the layer of shirts and looked to the roof.

Everything that had happened, everything that had passed, she couldn't remember it all at once, yet, everything had happened... and now... she needed to let the others know, one by one... or together.

Well... Burnout was a danger...

So, perhaps...

"Nightingale. Can you please come out?"

She whirled the ball into the air, but not before she caught it on the way down, just after it opened, she might have had a broken arm, but she'd had a broken arm for a month, and she'd gotten in plenty of practise with that healthy arm.

And there, now materialised on the floor was a small Happiny, looking round and back at Jasmine quizzically, before frowning. [You know... this is really starting to get very disorientating.]

[If I didn't know you were healing already, I'd have thought you'd called me out because things had gotten even worse!]

Jasmine got up slowly, enough to sit up at least, looking with a half smile to the Happiny. "Nightingale, I think we need to talk..."

Then Nightingale's eyes caught sight of the eggs, and she went quiet. [...I see they did.]

Jasmine would spend at least a little amount of time, telling her about the events after Ironclaw joined the group, the Spiritomb... the return, the battle, and the outcome... and in the end, she gripped the second ball.

"...And now we need to wake Burnout and tell him too."

Nightingale looked down slowly. So much happened in so little time... she couldn't blame Jasmine for having her present amid all that danger, when she herself was in trouble during it all...

And she looked back at the eggs... they were lucky they would have two charges rather than two graves, but finally, she'd peer back at Jasmine, awaiting the inevitable.

Like it or not, her lot was thrown in with them.

"Alright... Burnout. Come on out."

The ball opened, no, EXPLODED open with a rush of flame! And there, the Lampent form materialised, as each of Burnout's arms was wreathed in flames, as his eyes scowered upon her with the shimmer that went over his body.

And now he glowered at Jasmine.

[You... have much to say... for the humiliation I have faced!!!]

[Be quiet!]

The sudden yell made Burnout stop, turning to see who would have the gall to stand up to him, looking to the Happiny.

[...Do NOT rouse my ire hatchling...]

And Nightingale was there, hands on sides, a frown of her own on display, as she would point suddenly at Jasmine and the eggs. [She's injured. And our teammates are incapacitated!]

[Now is not the time to be angry with anyone, if you got beat... it's not just Jasmine's fault, you BOTH need to train. And when last I was listening, YOU said that YOU were the one responsible for training HER. Isn't that right?]

The Lampent's expression was frozen in glass, but his flames would flicker and falter, looking back at Jasmine and then the Happiny... she was so brazen, she certainly reminded him of another-

[But if she had let me loose sooner-]

[Then you'd have been unable to tell her a thing!] Nightingale shrugged. [You train her, you need to find a way to do it and fast. How do you tell her, three big bad pokémon are going to come in and murder everyone? Or, that you got released with like the barest stamina you're gonna get knocked out by a Spiritomb?]

[We've been through a few trials. Everyone has.]

[Now stop being mad... and concentrate on how you're gonna help her learn from this to be a better trainer.]

Burnout sighed, as he looked to Jasmine, currently silent while letting them talk. "...We... need to talk."

[...You can say that again...] Burnout growled beneath his crackling flame, as he would wait for Jasmine to retell the tale herself....

A faint sound of movement would catch their ears then as one foot would suddenly burst from the side of the egg. Purple with three claws ...it was obviously that of a Gligar as another claw would burst through the otherside ....before finally a long sharp tail as the entire shell broke apart to reveal her first. Her ears were flatten against her skull ...as she rolled to a stop and looked back over her shoulder at them.

A smile would plaster her face.

The fate she had avoided before seemed to have caught up to her at last ...as the sound of another egg breaking would catch everyone's attention as this time ...what came through the shell was another small creature.

This one ...was more fluffy then anything as the Purrloin newly hatched would turn and start to smooth down his fur. He had lost some of his viciousness, but in it's place was something that would be everyone more at ease around them as he winks one eye at them and continued his grooming.

Two of her members had been reborn.

Jasmine would turn, as would the other... and there, the two eggs would crack one by one... and Jasmine grimaced at the sight...

Lindbergh had turned back to a Gligar. It was an inevitable fate perhaps.

But not just that... the look of both of them... they had reverted in more ways than one... and it cracked Jasmine's heart, that neither of them would remember it felt... and she could have cried just from that, but she bit her lip, and nodded there.

"Welcome back... both of you..." So she would say, as she lifted them, both small and wet, against herself, keepign them close as Nightingale smiled while Burnout frowned.

This would be complicated.

But this would not be the end of all things.

And there... as they would fall asleep in Jasmine's arms, so too the girl would lie down in bed, and the others, with Nightingale scooching in aside the two babes, Burnout would hang in mid-air, the light of his flame shadowed by his glass, yet still providing warmth.

A silent watcher, all through the night...

~~~~~~~~
And with morning, Jasmine was the riser, and she would recall the three children of the group to her, Burnout would be the only one she would keep aside, the only one she trusted right now to be battle ready at any time after yesterday's events.
It would be quiet, very much so... things had happened that had changed things, and not in a good way.
But now, as Jasmine sighed, she looked to Burnout, "Ready?"
The Lampent would stay by her side, and then, ghost out of sight, only his voice crackling away hinted the illusion, as he would protect her, but remain now out of sight to prevent any surprise offensive, [Perhaps you should ask yourself that question?]
There was still much to teach... but Burnout could not say of that just now. As Jasmine pocketed the solitary pokéball, with her stock of items now depleted to this, the Focus Band and a handful of other things, it would be time soon to see what she could do or not... but out the door they would walk.
And Jasmine would blink, walking out of the valley, and into the light, her cloak and hat pulled down upon her, gazing out... "...Is this the wet season, or just me having a Mirage, Burnout?"
A chuckle of sorts came from the former Arcanine [I believe... that this would be Regigigas' parting gift that Regal talked so of...]
The upraising crater's normally hostile ground now lay in sparse grass, with tropical looking flowers, a palm tree of sorts, cacti, like an oasis that had opened amid the desert, now, Jasmine's area was blessed... and within it, it had opened up further, alongside the strange graveyard.
But like many things... it would have to wait, as the girl would slowly smile, "It can wait."
"For now, we have a friend to go find and complete our group again."
In the Spirit Graveyard, a terminal rose, then fell, ejecting a single pokéball from the three it's slots held, as well as a sliding compartment that ejected new supplies of food and water.
The ball opened, and released a small, frantic looking feline- [I don't wanna head ho-]
He stopped, and Claudandas looked around, the Purrloin somewhat confused, say the least, quirking an eye at this graveyard... why did it look so familiar?
Well... nonetheless, as he looked back at the terminal falling into the ground, he knew he wasn't going anywhere soon...
But this place... dark and grim, somehow felt right, all the tight spaces, and places to jump upon and nestle...
Still... there was a reason he was sent here, wasn't there?
He looked around, shouldn't there have been another here, considering he was only a few minutes ahead of Aether?
Claudandas wold find it near him ...if he looked. A pokeball open just like his own, it would seem that the terminal was set up in one of the pillars of the ruins as the pokeballs would rock to the ground. Completely empty as the respective pokemon was set free upon arrival.
This place had been home to one ghost, and it would seem that it had managed to become home to another.
The Gastly had been released first as her sickness ridden mind had driven her to find water first. Drinking deeply and slushing it around in her mouth, that would be the first place contamidated by her ....as she would continue on the move. She was looking for food afterall, as she doesn't even process the differences between this island and her own. Her mind too cloud to acknowledge this wasn't her normal home as she would snap her head back around at the sound of something and her tongue would dart out to lap one of the tombstones with an willfulness that made one think she was getting some sort of nourishment from it.
Though she would stop after a moment as she scent something much more delicious.
(Soul)
SHe would turn towards the source and a smile would cross her lips. She would have lunch soon as well as she moves towards the Purrloin.
The Purrloin would follow in a mix of quick movements and bounds, occasionally stopping to examine things... sniffing, and then scrunching his nose as he looked at the water moat that seperated the Graveyard from the harsh terrain alongside...
Maybe it was a GOOD thing Jasmine's other landscape was devoid of water... and that this one was self-contained...
But now of course, he looked up... and there floated the maddened ghost...
He grit his tiny fangs together and winced...
[You know... I liked you more BEFORE you were a crazy infected ball of gas...]
(Hp for Claudandas should be 9, he took 3 hp from the gastly before)
The gastly would smile at him only. His words on deaf ears as her tongue would lash out quickly. She neither cared nor wanted to know what he thought about her present state, afterall, he was only food.
As the tongue would seek to freeze him solid. A paralyzed pokemon was a easy to consume pokemon.
((True that =O I copied/pasted, but edited now))
As the Gastly opened its maw, and he leapt aside, the graveyard and its many tombs and obelisks offered so many places for him to move, but he didn't just want to dodge.
No, he had a job to do now.
And it involved one thing.
Getting this Gastly restrained.
And keeping it here for as long as possible.
That meant one thing, and one thing alone.
Keeping it dormant until Joy got here!
He opened his maw, and just as it lashed out is tongue, so he leashed his own attack in counter, and his Yawn sounded, reverberating around the graveyard, before finally the bubble showed, and floated right for the Gastly's open mouth!
The cat would sleep around a tombstone as her tongue would miss. This place was perfect for hide and seek, and would have been great for the ghost as well...if her mind wasn't driven by the hunger. She wouldn't even bother to avoid the attack as she chases after him and Sleep would hit the Gastly fully in the face as she shook her head heavily. The yawn followed by one from the Gastly as the pokemon in it's own rage would shoot a glare at the cat.
Not again, she wasn't about to be restrain from her meal again ...as she looked at the cat and tries to meet his Yawn with a counter attack of her own ...as she would use ...Hypnosis.
IF she was forced to sleep, she would force that cat to sleep as well.
((Does this mean the Gastly falls asleep after this attack as well? Hit or not? =O))
Claudandas couldn't hurt the Gastly... and for that he cursed his lack of attacks... one DARK attack, one blasted bite or pursuit or anything else native to his fur would have been enough... but no...
And as he saw the Gastly preparing to counter fearlessly... he eyed the crypt up ahead, the crypt at the heart of it all...
Maybe... just maybe...
If this was a resting place for spirits, then let it be so! As he whipped round, and Scratched, but not with his paws, his tail slicing through the gaseous beast harmlessly, as he would not stop for the beast's attack...
He was taunting it, sneering as he began forward to away from it, and on to that center monument among the tombstones!
[What's the matter, so eager to be tired?!] The cat would yowl back, trying to keep ahead in this new game, and wear the Gastly thin...
(Yup, that would be the case, and it will soon be a matter of which one would wake up first)
The gastly would smile at the cat would act as that tail whip in the air, but it wouldn't last for long. The pokemon sunking to the ground as she smiles dangerously.
She had wanted his soul, and now there was nothing to stop her as she would move over him ....yawning loudly again as she would send out her tongue to touch and hurt him.
She would feel herself become quite sleepy, but until she fell ......there was no mercy for the kitty.
