Chessur felt them chuckle. Suppose that was right, I mean no one but them would care who was which really except them---to whom it mattered a great deal.
"So just us then, I guess that's good. We wouldn't want to get crowded and the more of us, the less space we have and the less we may get along and I quite like you as you are, if you understand my meaning?" For a moment longer we considered, "I supposed I'd like to just be Chessur, I'm quite happy with me. What'a a Glasgow I wonder? Do we know?"

The Great Glasgow pondered the question for a moment. Did they know what a Glasgow was? Let alone what a Great Glasgow was? No, he supposed they very likely did not know what a Glasgow in any form was.
"I suppose that we don't know. I mean, if I don't know and you don't know then we just don't know. But then I suppose that in all reality, we do know what as Glasgow is being as that I am a Glasgow. Which I suppose means that We are a Glasgow since that if I am one then you are too. As to what it actually is, I have no idea. We just liked the word." He answered for them.
"And I suppose that you're right about us. I like us just the way that we are. Any more of us and I might begin to like us much less than I like us now." He continued on as he twitched their tail.

They nodded, "Very right. So a Glasgow means whatever we want and only we know though we're not sure yet, and we are the only ones that can bestow it then." They though for a moment, "Yes, I think we're just right. Just enough room...and well, did you notice that there are only parts of that are seen and some are faded? I know how it happened, but not fully why. Were you there then too or wasn't or do you know? Do you remember before now or is there a before? Today is the first time we've met...right?"
He licked their paw and purred lightly. Quite sure that Glasgow understood him as only another Glasgow could.

He blinked their eyes for a moment, curiously in thought. Were we there? Or was it just me or you? I suppose it may have been us, but I don't recall. In fact, I don't recall much of anything before that. Perhaps that was when we were born? Or do you remember me before then? No, that couldn't be right, we've never spoken before now have we? I don't believe I was there, but then, I don't really remember much of anything before today. When was it and what happened? All I remember before now was some fading in and out, some glimpses here and there, but nothing solid. No reality, but then, what is reality? That my friend, is the real question.

Maybe you awoke when I slept, and I when you did. Or maybe there's another of us and if we stay up long enough we'll see him too. Or maybe until now neither of us could be at the same time, but for some reason we can now. Hmmm...He thought about that. It made a kind of sense.
Maybe it's a question we can't answer or maybe we just aren't asking the proper questions or just not to the right person. Maybe there are others that come from where we came, and are as we are. Maybe if we find these one of dreams and memories of visiting a place like Wonderland of us is what we need. You remember the Wonderland? I've only ever seen it in sleeping, but it seems real.

So he knew of the wonderland as well then? Chessur had assumed it was nothing but something he had dreamt up. Then again, nothing was simply not real. Everything was real once you made it so, once you brought it into being. Even things that 'didn't exist' truly were a reality. Even if few only knew them or believed in them. "You know the wonderland then? I wonder if others do. There must be others." He paused a moment in thought. "Perhaps we should find them? Yes I think I should. Or rather, we I suppose. And with two of us the search should go much faster yes? You can sleep while I search and you can search while I sleep. I suppose we may need to rest our body here and there, but perhaps we can use that time to catch ourselves up?" They grinned as they spoke.

He closed their eyes and purred gently while switching their tail. "The wonderlands....I wonder what they know, or think they know, or that we'll find out that they don't know but really, truly do." He sighed. "Yes, sleeping and walking but I suppose our body will grow tired if we don't rest so we should. And you know of it? For how long? But it's real isn't it, even if it really isn't? That's how things go, don't they?"
He hummed a little tune as he switched his tail. "And what...what pray tell will we do when we gather them all? That's the real question..." He could feel a smile creeping on their face. "But...I think it'll be quite, quite good don't you?"

The Great Glasgow could feel the grin sweeping across their face and he continued on with it. "Of course it's real. Everything that is real isn't and everything that isn't is. Of course if it's not real than it would be real and if it's real it also isn't. So, no matter how you look at it, it is." Chessur thought briefly for a moment, using the part of their brain that appeared to be exclusively his.
"What should we do with them? I could think of a few ideas if I tried I suppose. Perhaps we could band together? There is safety in numbers. Or at least I suppose that's what we've been told. Together yet still alone? Either way, there's really not much planning to be done now. Perhaps once we've rounded them up. Maybe they know how to get back to wonderland? If we can't, we should just make our own. Can we omit the queen though? We think we like our head yes?"

"We most definately like our head!" Chessur purred gently. "I was thinking maybe that...If we can't get back to the Wonderland...maybe we can bring the Wonderland here? Just like you said...What I miss most about the real and not real place is that we did as we pleased...havoc and all. Precious...Precious havoc. We ruled over it, didn't we?"
He switched their tail. It was a good idea right? Make this the Wonderland, only bigger...and around they'd go causing confusion and--well whatever they wanted. That's what Glasgow's did right?

Chessur listened closely to his thoughts. Yes that was right wasn't it? If they ruled once, perhaps they could rule again? And if there was anyone to dispute them they could simply send the queen after them. "Yes I like that." He told himself. "How are we to find the other residents though? I would assume it might be difficult. We would need a starting point. Do we know of anyone here? Anyone who can point us in the right direction? Or the wrong direction I suppose. It really just depends on what way we want to go. We'll also need to decide where we want to live and all. Traveling is nice, but we ought to have a home too. Unless we do have a place to live. Are we homeless? He asked curiously, not at all bothered by the thought.

"We roam a lot. I suppose we have many homes, don't we? But I can't quite recall any at the moment. Can you?" He closed their eyes. "Maybe that time piece of a rabbit knows them all. Maybe he's who we should seek first. But where to start...you're right. We're always right. Maybe around a clock? He's always losing time."
It made sense but no sense. Where was time and where wasn't it? Where would they find it? But they would have to find it. They needed to find them. If not, there'd be no perfect Wonderland. "We could always watch a rabbit hole?"

Chessur pondered over these words. A clock? A rabbit hole? Where should they start? "There are many clocks, many times, many holes." He started off slowly. "How would we know which ones to watch? Or where to find the appropriate ones? I doubt that he uses all of the holes ore all of the clocks. Do we remember any particular ones that he frequents? Or shall we just start searching them one by one until we happen upon him? Who knows, perhaps he will find us all on his own. Odd how things work isn't it?" The Great Glasgow stood in silence for a few moments, wondering what their first move should be.

He swished their tail, "We should look at every hole. But maybe, just maybe you're right...Maybe he'll come to find us too? Maybe he feels the pull of the Wonderland?"
How could one resist it's pull? It was like the succelent taste of forbidden...of home. But had it ever existed? Did it still exist? Did it really matter? We believe the Wonderland is real....Therefore it is real.

"Perhaps." He responded to himself. "I suppose all of us probably feel the pull of wonderland. It is a very strong pull isn't it? Perhaps we will find others while we are looking for him. He is indeed a good starting point for us, however he might be tricky with his holes. I think that maybe we ought to keep our eyes out for others just in case he proves difficult to find? We wouldn't want to miss any of the others while we are searching for him." Chessur continued on.
Wouldn't that be just the sort of thing that they would do? Manage to miss the whole land of wonderland while searching for one silly rabbit. Yet it might be tricky to find the others without him. Silly as it was, it simply left them off at square one again. "Well my dear sir," He continued to himself once more." Perhaps we ought to get to searching. I certainly do enjoy talking with us, however we mustn't waste any time now! There are rabbit to be chasing and finding!" He told himself enthusiastically.

"Yes, yes. But he always did run quite late. I don't think we'll have to worry much, and it's best not to be early with him." He closed their eyes trying to think. There was a rabbit...come to think of it, hadn't there been many rabbits. A rabbit with a clock, a rabbit with a teacup, and then was always more than one of those each.
"Maybe, we're looking at this wrong. Maybe there are more Wonderlands than one? Are all the Wonderlands the same? Any rabbit will do? Maybe we need all the Wonderlands and all the rabbits?"
Hmmm...Maybe that was it. Things were never that easy, except when they were and well, they never were usually.
